OK, this is probably my dumb question for the day. How do I copy a specific wallpaper from my computer onto my RAZR MAXX and have it show up when I go to my wallpaper on my phone? I thought there was a wallpaper folder. I just can't seem to find it on my phone. What am I missing/overlooking?

But it it shuts down the phone while attempting to open from apps list (start screen etc.). What to do avoid shutting down.

Im suppose to be able to tap on the wallpaper to see the temperature/weather and a double tap should take me to accuweather. But taping it does nothing and the weather doesnt update either as it was raining and I hopes to see the animation but nothing happened.

I've just bought my RAZR and I'm struggling to set the wallpaper I want. To start with, I'm a bit disappointed that I can't have a separate lock-screen wallpaper, but that's not the end of the world.
On previous Android devices I've always been able to choose a picture then when setting it as a wallpaper, there has always been the option to crop it to the size / area you want. I can't work out how to do this, is it possible?
The built-in picture viewer doesn't seem to allow any rotation / zooming and then saving either. The pre-loaded "My Gallery" app doesn't find all the pictures on my device either. Again, on previous devices all images from all storage areas have automatically appeared in the gallery.
I also can't find the directory where the wallpapers are stored
I have Android 2.1, i tried to change my X8 wall paper by selecting Live wallpaper, every time it is showing No live Wallpapers even my WiFi is turned on.where to find the Live wallpaper

View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen I open my Phone App, I have Favorites, Recent, and Dialpad catagories. What was Motorola doing NOT putting Contacts in the Phone app. I'm really unimpressed by ICS and actually prefer the previous OS.
Bluetooth functionality doesn't work well. There's so much idosyncratic about this OS that I personally do NOT like.
It seems that this release is typical of a manufacturer letting their user base beta test the OS for them.
I've had this razr maxx hd just beyond the verizon "no worry" 14 day period and now its turning off and restarting on its own. It seems to hapen if Im texting and an email comes in but not totally certain. Is this something I'm just going to have to deal with until 4. comes out and hope JB doesnt hav the same issue? Verizon will replace it but with a refurb...Lets see..I bought it btand new 17 days ago, and they want to replace it with a refurbished phone

It was there with my razr before the ICS update and then it went away and still not there when I got my razr HD. I liked that reature because I liked to sync all the contacts and then only show just the contacts with phone numbers.

I tried with phone off plugging it into an AC cable and no light. No recently installed apps and I haven't done this since updating to ICS until now. I know it didn't use to do this
View 5 Replies View RelatedI currently keep the power button set to end calls. During a speaker phone call the screen goes off (as expected). The only way to get it to turn back on is to hit the power button, which ends the call. If I change the settings to have the power button to not end calls the screen will come back on and I could switch out of speaker phone. Is there a way to get the screen back on while leaving the power button to end calls?

I even checked the online gallery on the Verizon site and that has no photos in it. Where did it sent the picture? It is not in the gallery, it is not on the SD Card, it is not in Handcent's download folder, not in the default DCIM or download folders on the phone.

I can't seem to get this back.The app I had been using to set volume became too buggy with the last update and it isn't supported well. I've been trying different apps so it may have been an app that caused the timer to display.
