Motorola Droid Razr :: Way To Install Wallpaper
Oct 23, 2012OK, this is probably my dumb question for the day. How do I copy a specific wallpaper from my computer onto my RAZR MAXX and have it show up when I go to my wallpaper on my phone? I thought there was a wallpaper folder. I just can't seem to find it on my phone. What am I missing/overlooking?

Jan 20, 2013I had a friend take about 80 pictures today while we were surveying, and only the first three came out. The rest are files but show 0 kb size and display as a picture icon. I only watched a couple of the pictures while they being taken, but everything seemed to be working fine. Picture showed up after being taken.

Nov 19, 2012The feature to use the Razr M as a Mass Storage device when connected to a computer is missing in the Android 4.1.1 (JB) update. This feature is very important to me as a Linux user. This feature was present when I purchased the phone and Android 4.0.4 (ICS). The Motorola help pages also make reference to the Mass Storage option for USB connections.

Jun 28, 2012I know we are at the point that some of us are giving our reviews of ICS while the rest are waiting for their update to happen at all... but here are a few things missing that i have noticed..first, Task Manager. is it not needed at this point or did the assume we would just download one? i used mine instead of using a task killer ( i know i know that debate is an old one) but i miss having it on there.omeone else mentioned the "in pocket detection" was also gone. I used mine with and without it and never really saw it a difference. mine is in the otterbox holder most of the time, and in my pocket only off work. but its still gone.
the other is the3g only, which has already been discussed and told how to change it anyway. I downloaded the app which is an HTC thunderbolt app that was recomended on the droid news n guide app, but i cant tell you if it works lol.. im hardly ever in a 4g area.while there are a lot of good things in ICS and the fact that it looks so different does give you the "new phone feeling" i wonder why these were taken off.
Motorola Droid Razr :: Missing 8Gbs Of Internal Memory?
Nov 12, 2011Both Motorola & Verzion list this phone as having 16gbs of internal memory. When I go to the storage settings it only shows 8gbs with now only 2gbs available. Using a third party file app called Astro it also confirms only 8gbs of internal storage space.

May 1, 2012Anyone else having problems with their RAZR not disconnecting when a bluetooth device goes out of range?
From day 1 (two weekends ago), when I pair the phone to my Mercedes Benz 2008 (with 2010 bluetooth cradle to replace analog phone), and walk away the phone believes it is still connected (see status under wireless & network settings, bluetooth devices list)
This causes problems, such as when I receive calls the ear speaker is turned off and I cannot hear caller, or making calls the ear speaker is off.
When I later return to the car, the razr shows it is still paired (under bluetooth devices list) while the car says the phone is turned off. Need to power off/on to reset.
Called for support.
Verizon Tech believes that my car has a problem, the "car bluetooth is too old", can't keep supporting bluetooth devices that are 4+ years old
Motorola tech had me go to manage apps / bluetooth share / storage / clear data. Did not resolve problem. Need to try with another phone.
Motorola Droid Razr :: Device Started A continuous Reboot Cycle?
Mar 28, 2012So I preorder the RAZR and got it a day before the 11-11-11 launch. I had my phone setup and was about to go to bed and my device started a continuous reboot cycle that made the battery go dead by morning. I went to local store and the looked at it and said that they couldn't fix it will just give you a new one.I got a new RAZR and other that battery life issues which I am not happy about I can deal because I can have it charging in my office during the day. Well last night about 7 it started continuous reboot cycle this time I plugged it in and did a reset holding the power and the down volume. It been rebooting since last night I am not in my office with it plugged in.

(no paperclip symbol). I receive all other attachments fine when the email is not digitally signed.Using Verizon Wireless as carrier.if the signed email was sent to my Gmail account all attachments appear as normal.

Jul 18, 2012I've just bought my RAZR and I'm struggling to set the wallpaper I want. To start with, I'm a bit disappointed that I can't have a separate lock-screen wallpaper, but that's not the end of the world.
On previous Android devices I've always been able to choose a picture then when setting it as a wallpaper, there has always been the option to crop it to the size / area you want. I can't work out how to do this, is it possible?
The built-in picture viewer doesn't seem to allow any rotation / zooming and then saving either. The pre-loaded "My Gallery" app doesn't find all the pictures on my device either. Again, on previous devices all images from all storage areas have automatically appeared in the gallery.
I also can't find the directory where the wallpapers are stored

Nov 15, 2012I'm trying to link my RAZR HD and 64-bit Windows 7 laptop through bluetooth (Intel Centrino Bluetooth 3.0 adapter). I pair them, but when the driver installation starts, all but one of the 5 driver installations fail. Is this a Motorola problem and if so, is there anywhere I can download the correct drivers? I'm 90% sure everything is up to date on the laptop end of the equation.
