Nov 5, 2012When trying to take photo, caption comes up 'Could Not Capture The Image'. Camera has been working perfect all year.Have rebooted, repaired and formatted media card. Also update OS. Have deleted any unused Apps.

If I log into my outlook account on a computer, I can see the email has been delivered to me.I called BB support, and they said that there is no way I can do an instant feed to my phone from an outlook account. Jul 8, 2012I updated the software on my phone a few weeks ago, which resulted in the phone turning itself off constantly. However, when I take a picture it looks as if its saved, but when I go to the media files a little later all I see is a picture icon not the actual picture.
When I use the video camera it seems to save and I have been able to view once or twice, but after a period of time the file turns into a music file with no video. This has resulted in several videos of my baby daughter being lost and being replace by the same music.
I have followed the advice on the forum by deleting .dat files from the folders. This has resulted in the pictures taken since the upgrade disappearing altogether. The only way I can keep a picture is by emailing it to myself instantly.

Jul 6, 2010I'm playing around with the video camera on my phone. How do you zoom in and out while recording a video? I've tried moving the track pad up and down but that did not work for zooming in or out. I can zoom in and out just find with the camera for taking photos. Now I just need to figure out how to do this while taking a video.

Aug 11, 2010I have already installed the new Desktop Manager 6.0 that I downloaded from the RIM site.
I am thinking the safest way to not have a problem is the just restore my 9800 data from a back up rather than do the Switch Device thing. Anyone worried it might bring erroneous crap into the new 6.0 OS.
Maybe it would be better to redo my settings after the data install to make sure all is clean and working correctly. Some of the 5.0 setting would not be applicable to the new 6.0 software.

Jul 31, 2011This is the 2nd time this has happened to me with my Torch and I was curious to see if anyone else was having this problem.
On the left side of my screen its a black "cloud" that appears. When I look into my camera lens, it looks as if the framing that protects the lens from the BlackBerry's shell has fallen and is in the way of the lens, creating that "cloud".
I bought my first phone brand new from Rogers and literally maybe 2 days after my 30 day warranty this happened. I got Rogers to send me a refurbished phone (which by the way had some scuffs in it) and within a few months, this happened again.
Does anyone know if Rogers or BlackBerry will fix this for me? If not does anyone know how much it costs?

May 3, 2011My camera kept going off taking random pictures then i went to telus got a download and it has done it once so far then this morning it went to my password as it does after its been inactive for an hour and this time i cannot use the keys to type in my password. And it wont let me use the keys on the touch screen.
