I have experienced delays of up to 6 hours between the time an e-mail hits my comuter and my BBerry. I've checked settings and have spoken to ATT and Godaddy, and both believe the issue rests with BBerry.I do have imap e-mail service with godaddy and POP3 to my computer and the BBerry picked up the change to imap with no problems.
I have crackberry.com as one of my favorites on my homescreen. well i log on to crackberry.com on the pc and try to email myself a wallpaper. so when i did it the first time i never got it and then my bb started to act weird, i would touch the top of a tray to close it and it would change pages, i would try to dial and when i push the 9 the 7 would pop up first, if i press the 3 the 1 would pop up first and so on and so on. it did the same thing the 2nd time i tried it.
Only some of my emails are coming through to my Torch. The email account is set up, but I only receive about half of the total emails that come to the address. Can't figure out why I am getting some message, but not all of them.
i have a blackberry torch 9800 and it has worked fine for about a month and then the other day it rebooted itself and since then it has not been recieving signal properly i have checked and it isnt the sim card.
Well, this is my 3rd torch in about 10 months and i turned it on this morining to find that no one was replying to my texts... so i waited a few hours because i presumed that maybe some people were busy, etc... but it wasnt untill my freind sent me an fb message saying she replied to my texts sent earlier today, that i realised that something was wrong... i sent her another text saying to post on my wall what it was what i had sent her, to see if it was mine or her phone, turns out its my phone.... so to double check i sent a message from my other phone to the torch to see if it was just her bold misbehaving, but turns out that my phone didnt get that text either... checked my firewall to see if i had accidentaly set it to texts, i feel like throwing the phone on the floor because its so **bleep**.... after this im never buying a blackberry..
My Torch 9800 has stopped receiving text messages from the USA - I am UK resident and in the UK currently, I am receiving other texts from the UK and South Africa?
I travel overseas a lot and it will be very costly if my blackberry receives emails automatically for some of my messages contains technical drawings and graphics. How do I manually send and receive email on my Torch 9800?
I've been getting an incredible amount of spam recently. So I've tried setting up filters on my BB Torch 9800. If I set up only two or three filters, it seems to work fine. But if I set up more than that, the BB just stops receiving all emails, not just the filtered ones. I've checked to see that I've clicked the right options. I'm not, apparently. So what's the trick to setting up lots of filters to kill of this wretched spam? In Outlook, of course, it's easy -- I can set up rules to stop the **bleep** reaching my in-box -- and I was hoping it was going to be similarly easy to do on the BB. But it isn'.
Just yesterday my Torh 9800 stopped receiving text messages - I can send them but I just don't receive them. I have tried the usual "take the battery out and restart" but it still won't work! Also, it has stopped telling me when I have voicemail, but the little sign that I have voicemal never goes.
My service provider is Airtel. Suddenly since a month I stopped getting incoming mails and getting only outgoing mails.I checked with my office IT person too and got a reply saying that things are fine from their place. So this seems to be either service problem or Blackberry problem. I walked into my service provider exclusive blackberry showroom and showed the handset, he too tried a lot and failed bouncing back its my office IT problem.
I want to manage my work emails on my personal blackberry but I want to know if there is any way of setting the email so it only receives mail between 9-5.30 weekdays, so I don't get bombarded with work related emails whilst not working - a little like auto on/off. This function actually exists? Or will I just need to switch off the configuration?
I'm not receiving any notification of voice-mails.People leave me voicemails, but the Tour doesn't notify me of them. I do not have visual voice mail -- this is just plain ol' voicemail. I don't get texts notifying me of VM, either, but I'm not sure I'm set up to receive text notifications, so I'm less concerned about that.
I've been notified before that there is a new voicemail for me, and after that there was a little icon up near the email and text message icons until I listened to it. I don't get either of these any longer -- not the big notification or even the little icon with the number beside it. I don't know exactly when or why these have stopped. How can I get VM notifications back?
As an avid business crackberry fan (and business manager) for over 3 years, I was appalled to find that I would need to slide the keyboard out to enter my security code, especially when I would do it 50-100 times per day. As every other touchscreen phone on the market has a pattern unlock method, this is the single issue preventing from purchasing this phone(s) PLEASE ISSUE AN UPDATE/APP/PATCH anything to bring this vital security & efficiency issue up to par.
I am new to this site and hope that it will be a good experience here> I have BB torch and my e-mails were working great> but suddenly the e-mails are being recieved but the message area there are only lines visible> i cant see te txt in main body of the mail, the address and subject are vissible but no body.
My Torch keeps on wiping my sms's after a while. It creates a lot of problems as my reference to numbers and messages disappears. The same happened once to my e-mails.My wife's Torch keep on wiping e-mails and she loses important business info.
I have already installed the new Desktop Manager 6.0 that I downloaded from the RIM site.
I am thinking the safest way to not have a problem is the just restore my 9800 data from a back up rather than do the Switch Device thing. Anyone worried it might bring erroneous crap into the new 6.0 OS.
Maybe it would be better to redo my settings after the data install to make sure all is clean and working correctly. Some of the 5.0 setting would not be applicable to the new 6.0 software.
I configured my mail account on my Blackberry but I do not find where go to create new cases to archive my mails. Even having consulted the documentation of the telephone, this one indicates me a procedure :
On the welcome screen, click the icon Messages.Support on the sideline > Post(Show) the file(case).Highlight a file case.Support on the sideline. To add a case, click to Add a case.To move a case, click to Move thecase. Click the new location. To rename a case, click to Rename the case.To delete a case, click to Delete the case.
my received emails randomly disappear from the inbox from my Torch. I have the settings set to "forever" on the archive. Sometimes one or two go or the whole lot.
I'm struggling a problem with my hotmail mail account, and it seems that my blackberry touch 9800 got something like spyware. The problem is that someone uses my hotmail email account to spread spam mail with address book stored in hotmail system. The contents of spam mails sent with my account are different each other by each sending.
When I delete aol mail from blackberry 8530i, handheld and mailbox, it REALLY gets deleted. It doesn't go into the aol "Trash" folder, it just disappears altogether, like it never existed, and does not appear from my PC.
is it possible to create files on my torch to store messages/E-Mails etc. I was able to do this on my old phone but can't seem to find any way of replicating it on my BlackBerry.Or do I have to delete them? Or can I store them on the sd card and if so HOW?
