I am new to this site and hope that it will be a good experience here> I have BB torch and my e-mails were working great> but suddenly the e-mails are being recieved but the message area there are only lines visible> i cant see te txt in main body of the mail, the address and subject are vissible but no body.

When iam in bowser or in game application if I receive any mail or message notifications I cannot see the new message by clicking option /switch application and selecting message icon.I need to select Home Icon and select messages for new mails and messages.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a Certificate for my email address by Comodo. It is installed in Thunderbird on PC and iPhone and iPad with iOS 7.1.2.
Thunderbird on PC behaves like expected, i can send and read encrypted emails.
On iPad and iPhone i cannot read encrypted emails.
I imported my S/MIME Certificate via email attachment (p.12-File) and activated it in the mail section for my account. I also enabled signature and encryption function.Â
1. When i receive an email that is signed but not encrypted, the certificate of the sender is trusted & installed.
2. When i receive an email that is encrypted, the same sender is now shown in red color. I cannot read the email, because my profile allegedly does not contain my identitiy.
3. When i try to reply to the signed but not encrypted email (1.) then the message i send is signed but not encrypted, even though the address is shown in blue with a lock (which text info: encryption is possible).
4. When I send an encrypted email to my own account via ipad or iphone, i can read it on both ipad and iphone. This makes me think that the iOS Mail App uses S/MIME encryption a little bit different then Thunderbird.Â
All of this does not fit together. It think I correctly installed my certificate but there are problems in the Mail Program on iOS.

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe SG-II's built-in mail app has a most annoying "feature":it obviously marks mails that it downloaded as read on the POP server. I would prefer to have them still left as "unread", so when I access my account via Outlook later, they would be downloaded there as well. I realize, that this would mean that I have to re-read them (or mark them as read) again but I would prefer to have ALL my mails in Outlook as well. Currently, if I read my mails via the SG-II but want to keep one of them also in Outlook (e.g for archiving purposes), I have to resend the mail to my second account (which is only polled by Outlook). I find this is most stupid and annoying!
PS.: I do NOT want to switch to IMAP for other reasons and my POP account has worked as I described with Windows Mobile before, so I don't see, why I can't have that same behavior with my Andorid device.
My Torch keeps on wiping my sms's after a while. It creates a lot of problems as my reference to numbers and messages disappears.The same happened once to my e-mails.My wife's Torch keep on wiping e-mails and she loses important business info.

I have experienced delays of up to 6 hours between the time an e-mail hits my comuter and my BBerry. I've checked settings and have spoken to ATT and Godaddy, and both believe the issue rests with BBerry.I do have imap e-mail service with godaddy and POP3 to my computer and the BBerry picked up the change to imap with no problems.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've had my Blackberry Torch for a few months and it used to flash "Media Card Inserted/Removed" constantly (alternating between the two) untill I would just take it out and give up. Now it has got to the point where it won't read any memory cards at all. I recently posted about this and was told to format the card in my PC then in my phone, which worked great for a few hours then it flashed "Media Card Removed" and was not recognised at all after that. Now when I repeat the format procedure (in PC then in phone) it recognises it for about 10 seconds then says its removed. The media card slot doesn't appear to be damaged or loose.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've had my Torch for a few months and I just swapped my SD card (8gb) from my previous phone into the torch. It worked fine for a good while but I then started getting constant messages saying the media card was inserted then removed; these would occur straight after each other until i would lose patience and take it out.I wiped the card, formatted it, followed all the instructions on the forums of how to transfer media onto it properly but now the phone doesn't even recognise it. I assumed it was just that specific card as it as caused hassel in the past, so i tried a few other SD cards and the phone isn't recognising any of them.I intend to send my Torch to get repaired if I can't find a solution but I would rather not send it away for 14 days if I can avoid it.

When I charged it and switched it on, my wallpaper had change and I thought weird but whatever. Anyway, I found the next day, when I tried to take a picture of my kids, that all my photos are gone and I can no longer take any pics coz it says that the memory is full, even though the media says 'o photos'. I am gutted, but have found the following message on my storage menu ' device memory cannot be read. try to repair or format'. I've tried to repair it but it fails, and I am holding on to the hope that my photos are still in there, so want to avoid formatting it until the last possible moment. I am desperate for the pictures, there are just too many of my kids there to have to lose.

Whenever I get any mail on my BB and I read it, while Outlook is not open on my laptop, the mail is not delivered on my laptop at all. I have already ticked the "leave a copy of messages on Server" in accounts settings.
Further, I receive mails on my BB in bunches after a gap varying from 20 mins to 1 hour after the sender has sent the mail to me. I receive from 4 - 10 mails at one single time, but not as and when they are posted. After facing these problems, I upgraded the OS to 6.0.0 bundle 2647, however the behavior has not changed.
