When iam in bowser or in game application if I receive any mail or message notifications I cannot see the new message by clicking option /switch application and selecting message icon.I need to select Home Icon and select messages for new mails and messages.
I am new to this site and hope that it will be a good experience here> I have BB torch and my e-mails were working great> but suddenly the e-mails are being recieved but the message area there are only lines visible> i cant see te txt in main body of the mail, the address and subject are vissible but no body.
I want to be able to "select all" e-mails and then mark them as read, rather than going through and selecting each of them individually. Is there any way to do that since my phone downloaded every e-mail known to man that was not deleted from my accounts
I have a Certificate for my email address by Comodo. It is installed in Thunderbird on PC and iPhone and iPad with iOS 7.1.2.
Thunderbird on PC behaves like expected, i can send and read encrypted emails.
On iPad and iPhone i cannot read encrypted emails.
I imported my S/MIME Certificate via email attachment (p.12-File) and activated it in the mail section for my account. I also enabled signature and encryption function.Â
1. When i receive an email that is signed but not encrypted, the certificate of the sender is trusted & installed.
2. When i receive an email that is encrypted, the same sender is now shown in red color. I cannot read the email, because my profile allegedly does not contain my identitiy.
3. When i try to reply to the signed but not encrypted email (1.) then the message i send is signed but not encrypted, even though the address is shown in blue with a lock (which text info: encryption is possible).
4. When I send an encrypted email to my own account via ipad or iphone, i can read it on both ipad and iphone. This makes me think that the iOS Mail App uses S/MIME encryption a little bit different then Thunderbird.Â
All of this does not fit together. It think I correctly installed my certificate but there are problems in the Mail Program on iOS.
Info: iPhone 5s, iOS 7.1.2, also applies to iPad Mini iOS 7.1.2
The SG-II's built-in mail app has a most annoying "feature":it obviously marks mails that it downloaded as read on the POP server. I would prefer to have them still left as "unread", so when I access my account via Outlook later, they would be downloaded there as well. I realize, that this would mean that I have to re-read them (or mark them as read) again but I would prefer to have ALL my mails in Outlook as well. Currently, if I read my mails via the SG-II but want to keep one of them also in Outlook (e.g for archiving purposes), I have to resend the mail to my second account (which is only polled by Outlook). I find this is most stupid and annoying!
PS.: I do NOT want to switch to IMAP for other reasons and my POP account has worked as I described with Windows Mobile before, so I don't see, why I can't have that same behavior with my Andorid device.
When I delete aol mail from blackberry 8530i, handheld and mailbox, it REALLY gets deleted. It doesn't go into the aol "Trash" folder, it just disappears altogether, like it never existed, and does not appear from my PC.
I cannot read messages that are sent to me when my phone is locked. When i unlock it it says at the top of the screen that i have 12 unread messages but when i go into the message folder it shows no new messages!
I been using my blackberry for 5 months and everything's fine except that its a bit slow. I just got a problem about SMS. My friends just sent me a message and I cannot click and read it. I cannot reply or do anything about the messages. Then I just delete the whole thing. That means I lost all msg from that friends in 6 months. Then the SMS thing works again. Then after a few messages in our txt conversation, the problem came back
My Curve suddenly stopped receiving text messages and it shows I have email messages, however, I am unable to access them. I also have lost the ability to send text messages and emails, as well.Tried removing the battery and resetting that way, and have also done a soft reboot per AT&T's instructions.AT&T has also reset my registration (or something like that) and have verified that nothing in my service plan has changed.
I have a Blackberry Curve 8530 with v5.0.xx installed. I just setup my Gmail IMAP on my BB and when I read a message on my BB it doesn't show as read on my computer and visa versa.
I updated to 6.0 and cannot get e-mails, messages, nor connect to the internet. I unchecked my firewall. Also, when I try to re set up my e-mail account, even though I have more than 4 letters, it says I need 4 letters?
is it possible to create files on my torch to store messages/E-Mails etc. I was able to do this on my old phone but can't seem to find any way of replicating it on my BlackBerry.Or do I have to delete them? Or can I store them on the sd card and if so HOW?
can anyone tell me how to get the little R on text messages to indicate that the person has read your text.I already have the little D on messages to show that the message has been delivered.
I switched over from a Lumia 1020 about a month ago and love the G3 so far. My only complaint is that my Lumia would read texts/calls while connected to my bluetooth in the car. I have a Camaro which has one bluetooth connection for Music and another for Voice. I tried to setup tasker to read the sms outloud but it would not go through the speakers.
Has been 2 days that all my BBM messages only show a D (delivered) above the tick of every messages i sent out. My contacts read and replied and yet it didnt turn to R.
my thread of messages of all my existing contacts, the space meant for replying to them is suddenly replaced by the words "read-only-message" meaning i cant send them texts and receive messages from them. I still receive messages but their numbers dont register as their names in my phonebook. When i do get their messages, they appear as just their mobile numbers and a new thread is made.
Now I'm living in Beijing / China and i have no idea how to read my messages in Chinese. It only displays a bunch of squares. In my Desktop manager in the language section there is no Chinese available to install. What can I do? I've read some other post that they talk about changing the OS but where i can get a tutorial and the right OS to change it to? Also, will that change how I use the keyboard right now?
When i receive a txt message i have to manually go to messages which says "no messages".it took me ages to work out that i had to click "options" and "view folder" then select "sms inbox" is there not an easier way of looking at my messages, rather than me having to click on loads of things to finally read them.Surely they should just come up straight away? like most phones.I have only just bought the phone and i am new to blackberrys so i'm just learning how to use everything x
Customer using Google Apps & BIS. not bes! They were using BES before with an exchange server & had this function.Outlook 2003 via imap.Is it possible to see if a message has been read on the pc in his outlook when the customer looks on his bberry & vice versa?
my ray has started to play up recently, sometimes, and not all, i hear a vibration, look at my phone and there is nothing on either notification bar, no yellow 1 to say i have a text or anything, but if i go to my inbox, i can see that there was a text message and its like its already been read, but its not.
I have a new Honda Accord, but I can't get my text message notifications through the bluetooth. The music and calls work fine but not the text messaging. I had an S3, and it worked perfectly fine- it would alert me when I got a text message and it would read it aloud as well. I'm upset that my new phone does not work
