May 7, 2012I have Yahoo on my iPhone, right? When I read an email in my Yahoo account on my iPhone, and later log into my Yahoo account, it shows those messages as read. Heck, I can even file my emails away in my folders, if I want to; i.e. move them over to my bills folder, or my purchases folder, or my mom folder.Now, here's the deal with my other account tho. I have my work emails going to my iPhone too. At work, I use Outlook. I do not know a whole lot about how things are set up over here, but I have access to answers if you guys can help me find out the right questions to ask. When I read a work email on my iPhone, and I get to work the next morning, there it is, bold and unread. I really want it to show as read. I get an obnoxious amount of work emails. The whole point in keeping up with them on my phone is to save me time in the long run. So, when I get to work and have to re-read them all, I've saved nothing. Aug 23, 2011Just taken delivery of a Torch 9800 , and am trying to browse i'net using Wif-Fi only (NOTE : I'm currently trying to browse internet without SIM.just using Wi-Fi Hotspot at home)I was able to do this, then applied a number of updfates to the handset. Since which time I am unable to browse the internet.
Have removed service books, restarted the device (battery pull) Have removed the hotspot profile , restarted device (battery pull) Totall out of ideas. This device is running OS 6, but I recal lin OS 5 there was the option to force the browser to use hotspots .

Apr 29, 2010After I recently updated my OS on the Torch (and had a ton of issues with the battery drain) I have noticed that occasionally when I am on the web it removes hyper links -- like if I'm reading a news story and it has a link to a previous story it's just blank. Or if I'm on Facebook (the mobile web edition, not the app) it has blank spots where my friends names would normally be. I can't click on a link, even when I know it's there, so the link is not only hidden but not useful.
It's happened about 5 or 6 times since the upgrade. I do pull the batter and do a reset and everything goes back to normal, but that gets annoying after awhile.

To browse the web you must use wi-fi or contact your service provider to chase your service plan."My service provider says that all settings on their side are OK and doesn't know how to help as BB has no helpdesk in Czech Republic. Browser works properly with wi-fi only. Incoming and outgoing e-mails work in BB as well.

Jun 2, 2011I've had my Blackberry Torch for a few months and it used to flash "Media Card Inserted/Removed" constantly (alternating between the two) untill I would just take it out and give up. Now it has got to the point where it won't read any memory cards at all. I recently posted about this and was told to format the card in my PC then in my phone, which worked great for a few hours then it flashed "Media Card Removed" and was not recognised at all after that. Now when I repeat the format procedure (in PC then in phone) it recognises it for about 10 seconds then says its removed. The media card slot doesn't appear to be damaged or loose.

Jun 9, 2011i have a Torch 9800 on AT&T and I am running 6.0.0.526. When I reboot my phone, I receive a message "Uncaught Exception: java.lang.NullPointerException." Everything was fine until I did an OTA update to 6.0.0.600 last Friday. After I did the update, I could not change my theme(menu<options would pop up then close and Options<display< screen display would do the same thing) and I would get the error. I downgraded to 6.0.0.526 official and I still had the error but I was able to change my theme. I decided to trim my OS using BBHTool (have done this before with no problems). I am still receiving the error even after several battery pulls. I retrieved my event log from Crackutil and below is what shows up(5 times) for the error.

BB Software :: Email Not Marked As Read On Phone?
Sep 15, 2010I have a 9650 with BIS on Sprint. I get my e-mail through OWA. When I open or mark as read an e-mail on my phone, my Outlook inbox on my desktop is updated accordingly. However, when I open an e-mail on my desktop, my inbox on my phone is not updated to show that the e-mail has been opened. I have to go in an mark as read all of the items, which is a royal pain.

May 27, 2011Using K9 to monitor my msn.com account, when I read an email on the PC it does not change the status of the email on the Droid to show as read. Same issue the other way, if I read an email on the Droid the same email shows as not read on the PC.

Jun 2, 2011I've had my Torch for a few months and I just swapped my SD card (8gb) from my previous phone into the torch. It worked fine for a good while but I then started getting constant messages saying the media card was inserted then removed; these would occur straight after each other until i would lose patience and take it out.I wiped the card, formatted it, followed all the instructions on the forums of how to transfer media onto it properly but now the phone doesn't even recognise it. I assumed it was just that specific card as it as caused hassel in the past, so i tried a few other SD cards and the phone isn't recognising any of them.I intend to send my Torch to get repaired if I can't find a solution but I would rather not send it away for 14 days if I can avoid it.
