IPhone :: Unable To View The Content Of Email On 4?
Jun 27, 2012As of yesterday afternoon, I can no longer view the content of email on my iPhone. I can view it on my iPad and my iMac. When I open the email, there's no content. Contact and subject appear, but zero content. It seems to be chronically "checking for email" at the bottom of the screen, whereas the email downloading indicator at the top has finished. This issue is across all three of my email accounts.

Jan 30, 2012My emails have suddenly started displaying as lines instead of text. I can see who the email is from, but the message portion is just one or more line segments.

Mar 26, 2012I have full 4G signal from my service provider and from my personal wifi router, but my BB has stopped receiving emails, BBMs, weather updates, and I do not have access to internet, app world and so on, but I am still able to receive and make calls.I've been like this for 3 days now.I have a torch 9810 for about 6 months, and I am using OS 7.0 b 2404 (v7.0.0.583, platform 5.0.0.736) for weeks with no problems until now. So far I have try.
- Full restart cycle
- Disable my Mobile Network and use only wifi for internet access.
- Disable Wi-Fi and use only the Mobile Network.
- Restore my first device backup when I got it right out of the box.
- Use alternative Wi-Fi networks (Open)

Jun 2, 2011I've had my Torch for a few months and I just swapped my SD card (8gb) from my previous phone into the torch. It worked fine for a good while but I then started getting constant messages saying the media card was inserted then removed; these would occur straight after each other until i would lose patience and take it out.I wiped the card, formatted it, followed all the instructions on the forums of how to transfer media onto it properly but now the phone doesn't even recognise it. I assumed it was just that specific card as it as caused hassel in the past, so i tried a few other SD cards and the phone isn't recognising any of them.I intend to send my Torch to get repaired if I can't find a solution but I would rather not send it away for 14 days if I can avoid it.

Aug 31, 2014Every time I connect my phone to my laptop (Windows 8 system), iTunes tells me it can't read the contents of the phone and suggests resetting it. basically bordering on the obscene amount. If I had to pick an actual number of times, I'd say at least 20 over a week's time. Every single time I set up the phone, either from a back up or as a new phone, neither option fixes the problem, iTunes says it's syncing and then syncs nothing to the phone like it says it has. I usually try syncing a few more times just in case, but it never puts anything on the phone. I've uninstalled all Apple programs from my computer and re-installed them, I've taken my phone to the store I bought it at and had a completely new phone sent to me, I've reset it a billion times, I've turned it off and back on again, I've made sure to use the eject button every time I unplug the phone from the computer, I've checked to make sure I have the latest software updates, I use the cord from Apple and not a copycat version, and still every time (except for right after reset, before unplugging for the first time) iTunes says it can't read my phone and I need to reset it.

May 7, 2012I have Yahoo on my iPhone, right? When I read an email in my Yahoo account on my iPhone, and later log into my Yahoo account, it shows those messages as read. Heck, I can even file my emails away in my folders, if I want to; i.e. move them over to my bills folder, or my purchases folder, or my mom folder.Now, here's the deal with my other account tho. I have my work emails going to my iPhone too. At work, I use Outlook. I do not know a whole lot about how things are set up over here, but I have access to answers if you guys can help me find out the right questions to ask. When I read a work email on my iPhone, and I get to work the next morning, there it is, bold and unread. I really want it to show as read. I get an obnoxious amount of work emails. The whole point in keeping up with them on my phone is to save me time in the long run. So, when I get to work and have to re-read them all, I've saved nothing. Oct 28, 2011When I switched from bad Torch to the new Torch they sent me I was able to get email.But then when I went and backed up my old phone (so I could keep my contacts and calendar) and reinstalled my new phone I am now unable to use email. I get emails (for a 4 accounts) in 1 message folder, but I am unable to set up my individual addresses or respond to emails.

At first no internet was working, but then I deleted a service book (something like blackberry internet 2) and everything works now including facebook, browser and BBM. I'm still not getting emails though. I have redone the registration and reset the phone countless times.

Jul 18, 2011I recieved my Torch a few days ago and set up my gmail account on the handset which has been working perfectly. I've had to change my password for gmail on my account. However, when attempting to access the email accounts set up my phone will not let me into the option. Everything else works fine except this. I need my emails for work but, as I can't change the gmail password on my phone or add/delete any form of email account it's a little frustrating, especially as I got this phone due to it being praised for how good emails are on Blackberry. Are they working on a fix for this? I can't even access the Blackberry Internet service even though I have registered my phone.

Dec 4, 2011I am new to BB and have successfully set-up 2 of my email accounts. The 3rd email account that I am trying to set-up is a Godaddy hosted account (1 of the other 2 accounts I have set-up successfully set-up is also with Godaddy - - it is an "Exchange" hosted account whereas the one I am having problems with is a "pop' account).
The steps I am following include:
Go to "Internet Mail Account" Click on "set up another email account" Click on "other" Enter my Email address and password, and hit "Continue"
The message returns saying that "your device had a problem connecting to the server"?
I have called Godaddy and they referenced particular port settings but I cannot find anywhere in the "set-up" menu that I can set the ports. They also recommended contacting BB...
After many, many tries on my BB device, checking and rechecking my account settings on Godaddy and my Outlook client settings...I just cannot get this to work.
