I have problems to set up my email account with my blackberry. On my blackberry there is only an app for Enterprise email (for company's).

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am new to BB and have successfully set-up 2 of my email accounts. The 3rd email account that I am trying to set-up is a Godaddy hosted account (1 of the other 2 accounts I have set-up successfully set-up is also with Godaddy - - it is an "Exchange" hosted account whereas the one I am having problems with is a "pop' account).
The steps I am following include:
Go to "Internet Mail Account" Click on "set up another email account" Click on "other" Enter my Email address and password, and hit "Continue"
The message returns saying that "your device had a problem connecting to the server"?
I have called Godaddy and they referenced particular port settings but I cannot find anywhere in the "set-up" menu that I can set the ports. They also recommended contacting BB...
After many, many tries on my BB device, checking and rechecking my account settings on Godaddy and my Outlook client settings...I just cannot get this to work.
I am unable to validate my email account on my 9800 Torch even though I put in the correct email password. The reply is always PASSWORD INVALID. Please help, I am not getting my latest emails.

This tells me to choose "I'd like to add an email address", but this point is not shown on my BB. I can only see the point: "I'd like to add a business email account by using the BlackBerry Enterprise Server" (I translated this, sorry, if it is not 100% correct).

I used to have a Bold, now I have a Torch.Now the problem is the following: on the Bold I had one BES email (I am the IT Manager of my company) and three BIS accounts (private mails).I moved the BES account on the Torch, no problem, but the three BIS accounts do not move for some reason.
I go to Setup=>Email accounts and the device reports correctly that "A new BlackBerry device has been detected. you mustmove email account(s) to resume email delivery to your BlackBerry device. Email delivery to your old device has been stopped."Following the list of three email accounts I want on the Torch.
I click "Move" and for any single email I have a screen that says "Device change successful. Validate your email account"I type email password for each account, click "continue", receive the message "Your password has been successfully validated.", click OK and exit setup and nothing happens.I still have the BES account but there is no trace of the three BIS accounts.I go back to Setup and the procedure starts again from the beginning.I am on Vodafone UK and the three email accounts are on Apple MobileMe (@me.com)
Got a bb torch 9810 yesterday, Last night was great but today I can't log into my bb id account ... Iv reset my password twice and every time I try it just says unable to log into your blackberry id account !

But everytime, I tried to verify it in my unit I am getting this error: " Unable to login to your BlackBerry ID account" . I cannot open "My World" in BlackBerry App World because it prompted me to verify my ID.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am unable to set up email on my Nokia E72. When I am in the email setup wizard, I able to see list of email i.e. Ovi, Yahoo, Gmail. When I pick up Windows live hotmail to enter user ID and password, the email setup wizard takes me back to the previous screen that is in email setup wizard screen. It doesn't show any error message.
What i did already:Reinstalling the firmsoftware (031.023)Connecting whit a gmail and yahoo account (same result)
I am a new user of BlackBerry (bold 9780). Since I have it I wasn't able to set up an Email account. When I click on "Email Accounts" in the setup, sometimes it brings me to the next step and sometimes nothing happens. In the case it bring me to the next step, when I click on "Internet Mail Account" it brings me back to the previous step. I had a BB previously and did this not come up before, previously i was simply able to add my hotmail details etc??
View 6 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone "lost" the password to my email account. I tried reentering the password but no luck. Deleted account and reinstalled. Still said password was incorrect. I can log on to the account via the web so I know the log in is good and the account is working. I installed a daughter account on the phone and that went fine. Tried installing the troubled account on my iPad and got the same password incorrect. In addition I've done the following:Â
Called ISP tech support
Called Applecare
Gone to Genius Bar
Reset phone
Reset network settings
Restored phone from backup.
Checked for profiles
Made sure I was logged out of the account when installing
Checked settings in iCloud. email doesn't sync to cloud or computer.Â
Next thing to try is to see if I can get the account installed on an Android device.

Last Thursday my phone got wet, I had it in rice til today, it looks like it works but soon as I try to get on it asks for my username and password, I put it in and I keep getting the message "unable to login to your BlackBerry ID account", can someone tell me what to do

I just recently have problems downloading apps from my smartphone because of the message " Unable to login to your BB ID account." I thought it was my ISP but I was able to download apps from my Playbook using the same login details using the smartphone's internet connection. I even tried resetting my password but I notice that the attempt counter is not changing, so therefore I am entering the right password. I even check the date & time setting and it was set to automatic. I also tried a hard reset on my smartphore, but still the message is persistent.

When I try to set it up using the Nextel or Sprint link on the blackberry website, it tells me that: Your BlackBerry® Internet Service Account is suspended or deactivated. Please contact your wireless service provider at 1-800-639-6111. When I call that number, they tell me they cant help me because im on the boost network. When I call boost they tell me they cant help me because I have a NEXTEL blackberry...Can someone please help me get this email thing set up?
