Dec 2, 2012I have a Curve 8520 since May 13 2012 ago after upgraded OS (I forget what version before upgrade it) to .1075 via downloading BB desktop manager, a massage appear after booting, "A browser content provider for audio/mid MIME type has already been registered with the browser." then in same day, Friday Nov. 23 2012, I caught my device can't play any media file format in media (music and video), all of MP3 and Videos wich support Curve...but, ringtone still working to play music format i have tried to play music via media card, and its same error first thing before post this, I thought its error in media player codec this issue had same in another thread and website, like reboot like pull batt and ALT+RSHIFT+DEL but they doesn't work in my device...

Jun 27, 2012As of yesterday afternoon, I can no longer view the content of email on my iPhone. I can view it on my iPad and my iMac. When I open the email, there's no content. Contact and subject appear, but zero content. It seems to be chronically "checking for email" at the bottom of the screen, whereas the email downloading indicator at the top has finished. This issue is across all three of my email accounts.

Mar 24, 2012I have a new C2-01. I know it is relatively basic in function but am sure that videos that are downloaded and installed to the device ought to work. I have looked into it as much as I can and it appears the Mpeg-4 or mp4 certainly should play on the device. I have managed to install an mp4 video and only get the audio of the video but no picture. How to get everything working - either which types of video format I need to use or whether a video player needs to be installed. I wish to use it on a monitor rather than the small phone screen via the av connection lead that nokia uses on many of its phones.

Mar 26, 2012I have full 4G signal from my service provider and from my personal wifi router, but my BB has stopped receiving emails, BBMs, weather updates, and I do not have access to internet, app world and so on, but I am still able to receive and make calls.I've been like this for 3 days now.I have a torch 9810 for about 6 months, and I am using OS 7.0 b 2404 (v7.0.0.583, platform 5.0.0.736) for weeks with no problems until now. So far I have try.
- Full restart cycle
- Disable my Mobile Network and use only wifi for internet access.
- Disable Wi-Fi and use only the Mobile Network.
- Restore my first device backup when I got it right out of the box.
- Use alternative Wi-Fi networks (Open)

This morning when I connected my Bold to the computer, I got a pop-up box on the BB which said, "Content rights do not match the device. Please insert the media card back to the right device."What's this all about? Nothing seems to be amiss with my media, although my pics do seem to be a bit slow to load when I try to view a whole folder.

Jun 9, 2010I've had the phone for about a week and I absolutely love it except that at seemingly random moments my phone will block the viewing of any and all of my SMS messages saying "Content protection is enabled". It will show up at the beginning of newly received messages and even in the middle of real-time conversations between someone else and I and then I have to wait for the message to "go away" so I can read what the response was and continue the conversation. Is it something I'm doing? A default phone feature? Is anyone else experiencing this issue or at least know how to solve it?

Aug 12, 2010I am using BB 8520 Curve with the default external memory (2 Gb). I have music files (*.mp3, *.wma) as well as picture files (captured through the device itself).What happens is, from time to time I am unable to access the media card content. If I go to music, I can see the entries if I go to any of the menu filters, All Songs/Artists/Albums/Genres .. etc. But when I click on the song itself, the music player opens with a message "This playlist contains no valid songs". Also, during this time, my device rings with the default tunes on a call, even if I have set custom profile ring tones.Similarly, if I go to Media->Pictures, I can see a thumbnail preview of the photos, however on trying to open a file it just presents me with a black screen. The contact picture or the desktop custom wallpaper, however is rendered as expected.If I reboot my device by taking off the battery, things get working again.I am experiencing this issue quite frequently, almost every day. I tried to find out a trend for the behaviour, however could not make any such consistent observations.Does anyone in the forum has faced similar issue? Any inputs would be highly appreciated. This is really being a disturbing trait with my otherwise so cool BB.

Jul 11, 2010I have been going through this forum for a while and have tried all of the fixes that I can find to no avail. I have a brand new Windows 7 64-bit machine, that never had the Desktop Manager installed. I have installed version 5.01 off of the web site. Windows is able to see the Blackberry in the Device Manager just fine and I can also see the internal storage available under My Computer and I can access all folders. The Virtual Ports (COM3 and COM4) are also available in Device Manager.
I went through and followed the clean uninstall and reinstall instructions and various other suggestions that I have already seen. For whatever reason, the Desktop Manager still won't see the BB. When going into Options in the Desktop Manager, it shows that USB is selected but still nothing under PIN.I am connected to the straight USB port on the back of the computer and have tried several there.

Nov 27, 2012I was given a blackberry tour 9630 (sprint) as a gift and its working fine but now i need to Instal Whatsapp on it through the pc suit and every time i do it it tell me there's content protection on my device, i have read a million article and disable all form of protection but its still telling me the same things, the only thing i can point out is when i go to my phone option-security option I do not see anything as content protection so i go to encryption and i disable it but still nothing working on having the Whatsapp installed can anyone help with advice on what to do, less i forget i have done a factory restore as well and still nothing done.

We have done everything in the post stating that you need to run the commands to set an accepted domain and make sure there are no spaces in the domain name. We are still experiencing random "this message has not been downloaded" or "this message has no content" errors on our IOS devices. I was able to find one thing in common with all of the problematic messages and that is the internet header is missing the following lines:

May 14, 2012I can't seem to send my own content mp3 files (home made) in a text message to people. Also, getting these mp3's into my phone seems to be more of a headache than it should be. I would like to be able to just have a "sync folder" I could synce my home made mp's to like you can for photos or voice notes or ringtones but for my mp3's.. But no, I have to go through iTunes and it just makes it a hassle and quite frankly puts my phone and apple in more control of MY OWN CONTENT than they need to be. Also, once my own content mp3's are in my phone, its like I have no control over them. They go to this place where my phone has all the control, I can't delete them directly from my phone, I can't email or text them to people...All the time from other people without iPhones I get mp3 files of funny skits, or jokes, etc.. Or more importantly our own content made songs. But I can't seem to do that with my iPhone. Can someone explain to me how I can ? Or explain to me why Apple has so much control over my own content if it is in a mp3 format on my iPhone ?
