I'm having problems with my internet, its either I get error messages when I want to visit a website, or when I want to download, on the downloads message, it never fully downloads and I keep getting error messages. It worked well before now all of a sudden it isn't.

With my first BB 9900 I would download music etc from the internet using 3G and it would literally take seconds. Now, with my second BB 9900, I have full 3G signal but the download is super slow and never finishes downloading, it just says error. I've cleared my cache history and rebooted tons of times.

My Blackberry Bold had been automatically connecting to internet and downloading my email by phone in roaming mode. I had expected email was only active in a free wireless area but it seems this was not true, it also used phone calls to download mail.
How can I block that without doing something as brutal as removing the SIM card? Other kinds of phones have settings to do that but I haven't found these settings in Blackberry Bold.
I have a Blackberry Bold 9780, my internet works perfectly however on attempting to download files it begins downloading but very slowly and an error message comes up saying download failed. This has only been happening recently and prior to this I was able to download large files with no hassle.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a blackberry 9700 with BIS which I've just upgraded the software from OS5 to OS6, I'm having a problem opening and downloading any music and videos from the internet, I can browse through perfect but when I try to save it takes forever to download 1 percent and then says failed, I previously had this problem with the OS5 software as well, it used to work fine when I first got the phone but recently started failing to download so I upgraded to OS6 and the problem is still the same, there is nothing wrong with my memory card as I've tried with another memory card and the problem still continues.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have full 4G signal from my service provider and from my personal wifi router, but my BB has stopped receiving emails, BBMs, weather updates, and I do not have access to internet, app world and so on, but I am still able to receive and make calls.I've been like this for 3 days now.I have a torch 9810 for about 6 months, and I am using OS 7.0 b 2404 (v7.0.0.583, platform 5.0.0.736) for weeks with no problems until now. So far I have try.
- Full restart cycle
- Disable my Mobile Network and use only wifi for internet access.
- Disable Wi-Fi and use only the Mobile Network.
- Restore my first device backup when I got it right out of the box.
- Use alternative Wi-Fi networks (Open)
I have a UK orange freeserve e-mail account which downloads on my PC with Outlook Express.I have connected up my I phone 4s to the freeserve account , but when the e-mail downloads to the phone, it does not download the full body content. I do get the title of the message but nothing else.

I have to download content to play them but every time I get a error message after it tries to dowload for a few minutes and the yellow status bar goes up a little bit. I've down a settings and factory restore and get the error message every time. While its download my phone will go to sleep and wont respond when hitting the home button. Do I need a new phone?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI just got my 9650 yesterday. The saleswoman inserted my media card from my Tour (which had also been in my Curve 2). Everything seemed fine. This morning when I connected my Bold to the computer, I got a pop-up box on the BB which said, "Content rights do not match the device. Please insert the media card back to the right device."What's this all about? Nothing seems to be amiss with my media, although my pics do seem to be a bit slow to load when I try to view a whole folder.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI've had the phone for about a week and I absolutely love it except that at seemingly random moments my phone will block the viewing of any and all of my SMS messages saying "Content protection is enabled". It will show up at the beginning of newly received messages and even in the middle of real-time conversations between someone else and I and then I have to wait for the message to "go away" so I can read what the response was and continue the conversation. Is it something I'm doing? A default phone feature? Is anyone else experiencing this issue or at least know how to solve it?

I am a Brit based in Germany, and I would like to listen to Radio 5, Talksport, etc, on my 2730 whilst at work. Doing so on my work PC is not allowed.
Although I can access the radio station websites, I obviously now need to load some sort of basic windows media player to get streaming and sound. I tried loading Windows Media 9, for example, but get a "file format" not supported/not recognised.
So, please may I ask, how do I play Radio 5, Talksport, etc?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI got a 9800 mid december. Whenever I try to download an mp3 or pdf or anything that's more than 3 or 4 mb, the download goes up to about 30% and fails. Even when streaming music, some of the song is played, then suddenly I get a message saying the wireless network connection was disconnected or something. My service provider says all BBs have a download limit of 3 mb per file
View 5 Replies View RelatedI just got a Xperia Ray ST18a. During the setup wizard I was able to connect to my home wifi but when it tried to download the carrier internet settings (AT&T) it would return an error dialog "Could not download settings. Retry?"
I then had the phone check for updates via wifi and it found Gingerbread 2.3.4. I installed that. I still cannot get the carrier settings. I'm trying to do this now by Settings, Sony Ericsson, Internet Settings. Same error message.
My wife has an Xperia Neo ST15a. It was setup a month ago in the same location also with AT&T. Her phone had no problem getting the settings.
Yes Data service is 'ticked' and please don't say 'Call your carrier'. I prefer that AT&T not know what type phone I am using. And YES I do realize I could go on my wife's phone for the settings, but I feel the automated method should work.
