do I get the errorApp World Web Plugin Error An error has occurred communication with the BlackBerry App World Client. If you have content protection enabled on device,disable and try again.The content protection is disabled. Also enabling follow by disabling does not work.
I'm seeing a strange issue with all of our Verizon 9650's (Bold) that are members of our BES. A user receives an SMS message while the device is locked. The user then unlocks the device and <content protection is enabled> is displayed instead of the actual text of the SMS message. If the user closes the SMS and then relaunches it the message is displayed properly. Has anyone else seen this issue? Sounds almost like a software bug...
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've had the phone for about a week and I absolutely love it except that at seemingly random moments my phone will block the viewing of any and all of my SMS messages saying "Content protection is enabled". It will show up at the beginning of newly received messages and even in the middle of real-time conversations between someone else and I and then I have to wait for the message to "go away" so I can read what the response was and continue the conversation. Is it something I'm doing? A default phone feature? Is anyone else experiencing this issue or at least know how to solve it?

As we know the first one is to get the Blackberry browser plug-in, the second one is to Connect your smartphone and the last one is to update your software. I'm furious at the fact that my friend who has a bold 9700 can download the entire file using his normal browser, while the same download fails on my bold 9780 halfway through it, and this happens every single time I try to download. I would have expected blackberry to atleast add a download manager in this supposedly newer and better version of the 9700, but instead it has more flaws. I would really appreciate someone from blackberry technical support to have a look at this issue and reply to me asap.

I bought it 2 days ago with old OS and i had just upgraded the OS to the 5.0.0.610.My problem is i couldn't add the blackberry map into my bold 9000!
