As of 3/25/2011 you can no longer download ANY content from Verizon Wireless. The "Media Center" no longer is supported. The phone has been marked obsolete. If you have an active Krave on Verizon it will remain fully supported. New or certifitd preowned Verizon Kraves that have not been activated will NOT be supported.
View 3 RepliesThe back replaces the (extended) battery cover and it a bit thicker and heavier but not bad at all. It fits well on the phone, no issues and the back of the phone remains flat (no uneven raised portions on the cover). The cover connects to the four charing pins on the back of the phone (under the cover) so you don't need any cables that use the usb port as on some of the third party wireless phone chargers.Setup was as simple as changing the back of the phone, powering the charging pad and laying the phone on the pad. I didn't time how long it too to charge but when my phone was down 50% it didn't seem longer than the usb charger. There is an indicator on the pad that lets you know when the phone is not charging (off or not properly placed on the pad), charging or fully charged and an audible that sounds when you place the phone correctly on the pad.
You can feel when the phone is correctly placed as if there's a magnet in the pad and phone back. The bottom of the phone overhands the pad by about 1/2 inch. I was planning to get a picture frame type holder to prop up the pad so the phone can be easily viewed on my desk. With the phone being longer than the pad, it might not work as well as I wanted but I can probably still do it in landscape mode.
Has anyone had issues using the verizonwireless app after the 4g upgrade? Also, when I log into the my account through the we browser it says that my sim is in an unsupported device.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI noticed on my Razr that when I receive a new email I see the LED flash Green. When I get a Facebook or Gmail notice the LED flashes Blue. I have looked on the phone to try and see these settings for the LED color and cannot find a setting.
Is there somewhere to view/change this setting or is this just standard with the phone ?
What can I do to get my Droid X to play wav files again like it used to fresh out of the box? If there is no solution can I go back to the software I had before the update?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have an iPhone 4S, running ios 5.1 and on the Verizon Wireless (US) network. I recently bought a TruPhone international sim card for use overseas as Verizon's global roaming rates are criminal. I met all the requiremnts to have VZW unlock the phone and contacted them. They tried of course to scam me into activating their ripoff international sim but eventualy agreed to unlock the sim card as they are required by US to do. The problem is they told me that all they really do is send a request to Apple who then unlocks the phone through iTunes. I followed their directions and synced the phone through iTunes but it hasn't unlocked. I contacted VZW and they said there's nothing else they can do. They show my account as having been unlocked and blamed Apple. truPhone confirmed that they are having troube with VZW Apple products as far as getting them unlocked.

So when the hinge broke on mine recently, I bought a refurbished VX8350 in excellent condition. The only problem is the software version that's on the phone is 2.0 and the latest available version of the software is 4.0 which fixed several bugs on the phone and improved call and speakerphone clarity.I brought my replacement phone into Verizon today and they told me they no longer support the phone and no longer have the software upgrades for the VX8350.Is there any other means of burning my phone with latest firmware version the VX8350?

My wife and I both have Storm2s which we are obviously running on Verizon Wireless.We have the same official operating system (.713) and each have some apps. I tend to have more apps so she actually has a little bit more memory.
Lately she's been complaining that her phone has been running really slow loading up websites. I did a little side-by-side test with our blackberries.
I did the same search on the google mobile app (for Adam Sandler) and clicked on the wikipedia link at the exact same time. Mine launched the browser, loaded the wiki page and was completely done before her browser even stopped showing the word "blackberry".
She also consistently has a lower quality signal (by using the Quick Launch "Device Info" option I can easily see signal strength on both of our phones).So, my question is, what is causing her blackberry to have a lower quality signal than mine when we are in the same exact location, on the same network, running the same O.S., etc.?

I just got the Xperia Play and I'm try to play the preploaded games like Ashpalt 6 or Crash Bandicoot. I have to download content to play them but every time I get a error message after it tries to dowload for a few minutes and the yellow status bar goes up a little bit. I've down a settings and factory restore and get the error message every time. While its download my phone will go to sleep and wont respond when hitting the home button. Do I need a new phone?

View 3 Replies View RelatedOk so I bought an env2 off a guy on craigslist. I dropped my old one in a puddle but I really loved my env 2 so I bought a used one from someone on craigslist. When I went to activate it I discovered it was on revol's network, I dont live in the city hence I can get coverage on revol. Still says verizon all over it when you turn it on and off. I am not very savvy with cell phones but I am with a computer. I took it to the verizon store and they tried to put new firmware on it but it didnt work. I have a tough time beleiving that it can go from verizons network to revols but not back, if anyone has a way that I can flash the phone back to verizon.

Now when I'm listening to the podcast in the Music app and I click on "Get More Episodes . . . ." and it opens up the iTunes App to the page to download more episodes of that podcast. But then the page never fully loads and none of the "Free" buttons will engage. So I can't view the whole list of podcasts and I can't even download the ones I can see.

The phone does not currently have Kies installed (I don't even know if it is supported on this phone). And he can't install new applications because he has no data plan. Is he pretty much out of luck or is there some alternate way of doing this that I haven't discovered yet?
