Has anyone had issues using the verizonwireless app after the 4g upgrade? Also, when I log into the my account through the we browser it says that my sim is in an unsupported device.

View 13 Replies View RelatedThe back replaces the (extended) battery cover and it a bit thicker and heavier but not bad at all. It fits well on the phone, no issues and the back of the phone remains flat (no uneven raised portions on the cover). The cover connects to the four charing pins on the back of the phone (under the cover) so you don't need any cables that use the usb port as on some of the third party wireless phone chargers.Setup was as simple as changing the back of the phone, powering the charging pad and laying the phone on the pad. I didn't time how long it too to charge but when my phone was down 50% it didn't seem longer than the usb charger. There is an indicator on the pad that lets you know when the phone is not charging (off or not properly placed on the pad), charging or fully charged and an audible that sounds when you place the phone correctly on the pad.
You can feel when the phone is correctly placed as if there's a magnet in the pad and phone back. The bottom of the phone overhands the pad by about 1/2 inch. I was planning to get a picture frame type holder to prop up the pad so the phone can be easily viewed on my desk. With the phone being longer than the pad, it might not work as well as I wanted but I can probably still do it in landscape mode.
As of 3/25/2011 you can no longer download ANY content from Verizon Wireless. The "Media Center" no longer is supported. The phone has been marked obsolete. If you have an active Krave on Verizon it will remain fully supported. New or certifitd preowned Verizon Kraves that have not been activated will NOT be supported.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI noticed on my Razr that when I receive a new email I see the LED flash Green. When I get a Facebook or Gmail notice the LED flashes Blue. I have looked on the phone to try and see these settings for the LED color and cannot find a setting.
Is there somewhere to view/change this setting or is this just standard with the phone ?
I am from Canada and purchased a USA Verizon Xoom 3G. Bell and Telus seem to run on the exact same network, but I am unable to get things up and running with them as the Xoom just cant "activate". The neetwork providers are asking if there is a way to change the APN setting in the Xoom as it appears to be searching for the Verizon Network.How can you do this as my Xoom only has a Home/Automatic setting under Mobile. There does not appear to be any manual setting
View 3 Replies View RelatedI bought a Motorala Xoom from Best Buy. The Xoom has always been unable to connect the Verizon network. So far I have only used it with wifi. I really now need it to connect to Verizon. When I take it into the store the techies are at a loss. Should I contact Motorala directly? I receive this error: Activation failed, Unable to activate mobile data service. To try activiation again touch Try again. You can activate your mobile data service later in Settings under Wireless & networks > Mobile networks.

Obviously that doesn't work, so what's the next step? They send you the password in the mail. So, got the letter, go back to their site and enter the device's phone number and temp password. It doesn't work. I call customer service, and the only other option is to get *another* letter in the mail.

It provides ftp file transfer between an Android device and your PC. It works best with Filezilla Client to transfer files over your wifi network. Works excellent with my Xooom with ICS. Fast and no USB cable needed. Only negative is that it seems to only see the internal SD storage.

But it will access the documents folder. A message is displayed saying the remote computer is not found. But it must be found ok as the other folders mentioned can be accessed.

I recently bought a TruPhone international sim card for use overseas as Verizon's global roaming rates are criminal. I met all the requiremnts to have VZW unlock the phone and contacted them. They tried of course to scam me into activating their ripoff international sim but eventualy agreed to unlock the sim card as they are required by US to do. The problem is they told me that all they really do is send a request to Apple who then unlocks the phone through iTunes. I followed their directions and synced the phone through iTunes but it hasn't unlocked. I contacted VZW and they said there's nothing else they can do. They show my account as having been unlocked and blamed Apple. truPhone confirmed that they are having troube with VZW Apple products as far as getting them unlocked.

I can use the Web browser to access my content, but I did like the convenience of using the application. Today, I'm going to try a dump and reload. No explanation as to WHICH username or password and no info when it fails as to what it is looking for. She told me it would take 3 days once it go to them. Which I might point out was NOT what we were told about it being end-user upgradable to 4G once it came out.Verizon's info shows you how to do a backup and then pack it for shipping, but no info on how to GET the shipping materials or address.
I called VZW today and the tech in Enterprise Support didn't know.I'm about to hop onto the Verizon website and use my personal account an initiate a chat session to find out.
This morning is the second time that my Motorola Xoom has frozen up on me since I received it back from Motorola after the 4G LTE upgrade. I never had any problems whatsoever with this tablet prior to the upgrade. Each time required me to perform a reset via the power and volume up buttons and could be related to either the hardware upgrade, Android 3.2.2 OS upgrade that they added or even to various applications that might not be playing well with the OS upgrade.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have Xoom wifi and received the ICS upgrade yesterday. I've noticed that my wifi seems to drop out quite a bit even though it's the same setup as before the upgrade (wireless-n) in my home. No changes to the network and all other devices are working fine. Seems the Xoom keeps dropping the connection and re-connecting -- even when I'm online (such as with browser or email).
