Nov 14, 2011Is there a way to send the HDMI signal from my Xoom to my TV with some kind of wireless receiver? Maybe something that works over WiFi or Bluetooth?

Jul 28, 2011Came across this article today which states, in summary, that Android tablets (including the Xoom) and Apple Notebook which a mini HDMI port are facing trouble after a HDMI Organization source states that the mini connection does not fulfill HDMI specification.Further, HDMI Org also claims that these brands have not received a proper license from them nor have they requested any authorization for the use of the ports. An official from the HDMI Org said that they have asked several tablet producers to replace the Mini DP plug that is currently fitted into tablets with a socket for it to conform to their standards and regulations.URL]Unfortunately, this article is not independently sourced. May 28, 2011When I connect my Xoom to any port on my Samsung LCD, it syncs at 1280 x 720 only. There are no settings for the HDMI ports on the TV, they are all auto sensing. I am using a 9` HDMI cable. The picture looks fine, although I'm sure it could look better.

Feb 3, 2012i tried connecting my fe to my tv tonight to watch netflix. it doesnt work for me. the video freezes up and i only hear the sound. all other aspects of hdmi out works. i can watch my movies i copied to the device or taped using the onboard video camera on my tv, Internet, etc. i was just curious if my netflix problem is a known issue or limitation?

It works best with Filezilla Client to transfer files over your wifi network. Works excellent with my Xooom with ICS. Fast and no USB cable needed. Only negative is that it seems to only see the internal SD storage.

Sep 9, 2011I'm trying to setup the HDMI mirroring from my Photon, but can't get it to work. When I hook the hdmi cable to the phone, something happens because the Motorola logo shows up on the TV, but I don't get a prompt to select mirroring or video out. From what I've read, that's what I expected would happen.Any ideas what could be happening? Could this possibly be a defect in the phone? Some software setup issue? The only HDMI setting I can find is hte display area, and changing that doesn't affect this.
