View 2 Replies View RelatedI just installed a new app I found in the latest issue of PC Magazine. It is called Software Data Cable. It provides ftp file transfer between an Android device and your PC. It works best with Filezilla Client to transfer files over your wifi network. Works excellent with my Xooom with ICS. Fast and no USB cable needed. Only negative is that it seems to only see the internal SD storage.

View 2 Replies View RelatedCan I feel safe sending credit card numbers on my Xoom using a 3G connection? What about paying bills? I use a billpay service and would like to access it on my Xoom while away from home. Should I?Last week I was away from home and wanted to buy books from Barnes and Noble to read on my Xoom. They gladly took my credit card number but when I tried to enter a gift card number that I had received they said I had to wait until I could send it "from a desktop".

Is there an app that can tell me what apps on my XOOM are using data? I just got my XOOM back from the 4G upgrade, and the data use has shot through the roof.Literally, I drove 15 minutes down the road today and used 250mb of data. I was connected to my Wi-Fi network at home, then obviously my XOOM would have connected to 4G once I was out of range.I have the same widgets and settings as before the upgrade, and I literally just can't make sense of 250mb in 15 minutes. It's nuts, when I rarely use more than 750mb on my data plan, per month

View 15 Replies View RelatedWe have two stock 32GB WiFi/LTE Xooms. We both started receiving SIM card error dialog boxes when we try to access the internet. The box states that the SIM card is unauthorized and recommends that we contact our wireless provider's customer service for assistance. This started happening after we accepted the new build number (HLK75F).

View 15 Replies View RelatedI have a Wi-Fi Xoom with 32G of internal storage and Android 3.2. When I insert a 16G SanDisk Class 4 micro SD card and power up,I am unable to mount the card. I go to Settings>Storage, and get an error message, with the option to Force Close or Send Report. Most of the time, the app closes itself with no action on my part. If I insert the SD card while the Xoom is powered on, I get a different problem. I am able to get to the storage setting, and there is an option to mount the card. However, pressing on that option doesn't cause anything to happen. The card is formatted as FAT32. I have copied some files to it on my PC, and the files are there when I connect the card back to the PC. I've checked the board here, and not seen this problem addressed.

View 10 Replies View RelatedWe bought a Xoom to use on vacation instead of taking a laptop. I want to download photos and videos taken with my Canon Camera into my Xoom. I have the adapter for the Canon that allow me to convert the SDHD to a Micro SD, so that I can pop in ito the Xoom. I can view the photos fronm the Canon card on the Xoom, but it won't let me download them into the device. I don't want to have to go thru a computer to do this. So is it possible to download from the SD card onto the Xoom.
Also, when we watch the videos that were recorded on the Canon with the Xoom, they are at a slowed down speed. Would seem that if they were actually downloaded to the Xoom, it would take care of this issue.
I do not want to use the Xoom to take these photos. My Canon camera is the device we will use to capture the photos for multiple reasons.
Is the Xoom f.e. capable of moving apps to an sd card? I've tried several such apps, but none seem to work. Is this a hardware issue / limitation of the f.e or can someone recommend an app2sd card app for the f.e..?

Here is an App which allows some access to microsd card.
I have been researching SD Cards at Amazon. Getting prepared for the eventual software update from Motorola. I have seen a Sandisk 32 GB Micro SDHC listed at Amazon. Is this a good card for the XOOM. I am VERY happy with my Xoom so far.
