This has only been happening recently and prior to this I was able to download large files with no hassle.

Im not sure why since ive reset my photon the only issue im having is downloading .doc files - the attachment says unsupported file type. Ive downloaded apps like readers and a different yahoo app but no luck - still unable to download those attachments. I havnt found any know issues or anything to support what im saying so maybe Im the only one.

I am able to stream photos, videos and music but I am unable to download any file to my phone and when I do my phone confirms file has been downloaded the file says failed and when I tried to retry it stops after a few seconds and says failed again.
I have also tried this with videos and music and it had the same result.
I'm still unable to download any files from my computer to my phone at this time.
I am connected to Wi-Fi but unable to connect to the internet like FB,Yahoo or other websites. My sister used to connect to wifi but now that I am using her handset, I cannot do so.

I check and I have a lot o free memory. With SD card are not any problems. Same problem with PC transfer. When I hit the download button it takes me to the sign in for BlackBerry ID, then to terms and conditions and then to my ID settings! The only way I can get off this screen is to press Discard, which takes me back to where I started! I just keep going round in circles.

The problem is that while I can send files from my phone to my PC via bluetooth, I can't do vice versa. Everytime I try to send a file from my PC to my phone, the Bluetooth File Transfer Wizard says,"The file transfer failed because the receiving Bluetooth computer or device did not respond.If you sent the file to another computer, that computer must be running the Bluetooth File Transfer Wizard. f you sent the file to a Bluetooth device, make sure the OBEX File Push Profile is installed.'m pretty sure that everything's enabled (Bluetooth discoverable on the phone, on the computer, etc). So what could possibly be the problem, and how can I fix it (if I even can)?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a wireless network at my work (that is functional and works for my laptop) that I cannot figure out how to connect to with my Blackberry Curve 9300 OS 6.I can find the network, and when it prompts for the password and I enter it, everything appears as though it should work.The WiFi box is checked in "Manage connections" and on my home screen, at the top, above the time, it shows my provider's name and the WiFi network I'm connected to (Koodo - Arnason Lab <--- network name).When I try to use my browser though, I get the following message: "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later.If the problem persists please contact your service provider." I called Koodo and they told me that this sounds like a device problem and that contacting BlackBerry would be my best bet. Is my browser set up to work via WiFi? Or is there something I'm missing about connecting to a WiFi connection?
