just got my bb last saturday and I was trying to transfer files from my old phone and it did paired but when I was trying to send them either by bulk or single peice? it would just disconnect and fail.
I'm having difficulties with receiving files from others via bluetooth. I've tried pairing, but its not working. When i go to media for the "receive using bluetooth" option all it does is display "file transfer-waiting for connection" message.
I am not able to recieve any files via Bluetooth from other mobiles..though I am pairing each of the devices. It throws the error message in other mobiles that 'Connection failed'. I am able to send to other devices via bluetooth but am unable to recieve from them, neither I am able to pair with my personal laptop for bluetooth transfer. My bluetooth version is 1.1.
I have a Curve 9360. I paired my phone to my PC, and have done so several times in an attempt to solve this problem, but to no avail. The problem is that while I can send files from my phone to my PC via bluetooth, I can't do vice versa. Everytime I try to send a file from my PC to my phone, the Bluetooth File Transfer Wizard says,"The file transfer failed because the receiving Bluetooth computer or device did not respond. If you sent the file to another computer, that computer must be running the Bluetooth File Transfer Wizard. f you sent the file to a Bluetooth device, make sure the OBEX File Push Profile is installed.'m pretty sure that everything's enabled (Bluetooth discoverable on the phone, on the computer, etc). So what could possibly be the problem, and how can I fix it (if I even can)?
i cant receive files from other phones thru bluetooth. its gives em an error. its properly paired and my device in public or dicoverable mode. i am able to send files to them its just me who cant receive any.
I'm not able to receive items through bluetooth. I'm using BB 9300. I can sent to other mobiles, but the issue is with the receiving part. I already paried other mobiles and those finds BB and when it sends, it is giving an error of "sending failed"
i have bb curve 8520. i m nt able to receive data from other mobiles or pc via bluetooth. the mobiles & system can be paired with my BB but i cannt receive data from others. also it gives error message FILE TRANSFER SERVICE NOT AVAILABLE
I'm having a problem to receive file on my torch because I does'nt have the option "receive via bluetooth" on my Blackberry torch. I'm on the 220.127.116.118 version. I'm a new user of the blackberry torch and I love it, except for this problem.
p.s. I'm french, so excuse me if it is not correctly writen
when i go on manage connections on my 8310 i got yellow for bluetooth not a green tick. i have tried to reset my phone and turn bluetooth on and off and it still wont turn green.i can send files to other phones but i cant recieve files.
I have a motorola defy mb525 android v.2.2.2 I use sandisk class 4 memory card with it but I face the following issues 1.can't receive files via bluetooth error says storage issue 2.some pictures become corrupt I have checked my memory card in other phones its working fine I also checked the memory card that I received with my phone even in that I can't receive files via bluetooth, don't Know the details of this momory card since nothing writen on it.
I got a problem with the bluetooth. I can send files with it but I can't receive them. My phone can be seen by everyone when bluetooth are active, I accept the file that other people want to share and then a message such as "connection failed" or similar, appear on the phone of the other people. Someone told me that I should reset the phone, is it the right solution? Is a backup necessary before the reset? I need to transfer some job files.
I am able to send files via Bluetooth but cannot receive, when I try to search for my phone using my friends phone it doesnt detect my phone. I am using all the right settings i have set the phone to visible nothing seems to work.
After going through the update where it said that we could go now directly send and receive files using bluetooth but then I still can't seem to be able to use it. I have the options to send the files but whenever I do so it would say file transfer failed to the other phone I"m sending the file to. At bluetooth settings, it says 'paired but not connected'. Prior to update I was able to receive files but after so I can do neither.
I wonder why is it that I can't receive files from other devices thru bluetooth, though I already updated it to 2.1 and my bluetooth is already switched on. What should I do? Is it really like that? Do I need to download other stuffs first before I'll be able to receive datas such as pictures, songs, etc.?
I am unable to either receive or send any file via Bluetooth, When a another device sees me and tries to send, It asks for passcode, which i create a 4 digit, in matter of seconds it times out and looses connection. Similarly when i trie to send a file from my device strom 2, i can never select other devices at all.
I have a Motorola Droid X I got when they first came out. I have been unable to send pictures to my computer via Bluetooth for a while. I'm not sure what happened to make this problem occur. Now, when I try to send photos to the computer, after about 1/2 sec, it says "<filename> not sent". When I go to the messages pull-down from the main screen (sorry forgot/don't know the vocabulary if any), the message says:<filename><computer name>
The request can not be handled correctly.I also had some problems where my computer (Windows vicious vista) would tell me it couldn't find drivers for the various Bluetooth function it was trying to establish. I have no idea what the heck that was about, and now it doesn't happen anymore. Of course, that doesn't mean it is happy with the drivers.I tried to update the drivers but it says they are all up to date. When I go to Bluetooth Devices in Control Panel, the Properties for the phone shows services of Audio Source, Headset Audio Gateway, and Object Push (Obex) checked.
Object Push is the service that is used to transfer files to the computer, right?Connecting the phone to the computer still works to transfer files, but if I just have one or two pictures to send to the computer, it is much easier to use Bluetooth. Can anyone give me some help on tracking this problem down? I don't think it is the Bluetooth adapter because other Bluetooth functions work correctly.
I got my blackberry curve for christmas. it didnt come with a new sim because i was keeping my number.. im with meteor (ireland). I invited a few of my friends to my bbm using their pin but it didnt go through just comes up pending but they never got the invite. when they try to invite me using my pin i dont get an invite. As well as that i an send files using bluetooth but some how can not recieve even if paired with the other device.
I have recently updated my BB Curve (9300) software from version 5.0 up to version 6.0 Bundle 1478. I tried to send normal files (pics, videos or even music) via Bluetooth to another device (whether PC or another BB phone) but I could not find the "Send Using Bluetooth" option that I used to have on my old software version (5.0). Also when I tried to receive any file I could not find the option "receive using Bluetooth" that was on version (5.0). Is there any solution? How to send files over Bluetooth on the new BB Operating System (6.0)?
