i am not able to send and receive files on my nokia 701 through Bluetooth...except one of my another nokia c5-03 on which i am only able to send the files but cannot receive from that also.

I am able to send files via Bluetooth but cannot receive, when I try to search for my phone using my friends phone it doesnt detect my phone. I am using all the right settings i have set the phone to visible nothing seems to work.

I have the options to send the files but whenever I do so it would say file transfer failed to the other phone I"m sending the file to. At bluetooth settings, it says 'paired but not connected'. Prior to update I was able to receive files but after so I can do neither.

The problem is that while I can send files from my phone to my PC via bluetooth, I can't do vice versa. Everytime I try to send a file from my PC to my phone, the Bluetooth File Transfer Wizard says,"The file transfer failed because the receiving Bluetooth computer or device did not respond.If you sent the file to another computer, that computer must be running the Bluetooth File Transfer Wizard. f you sent the file to a Bluetooth device, make sure the OBEX File Push Profile is installed.'m pretty sure that everything's enabled (Bluetooth discoverable on the phone, on the computer, etc). I am not able to receive any file via Bluetooth if that file is not openable by Nokia. ie., if I receive a jpg or mp3 file, it receives fine, and when I open it from Messages, it tries to open it, and then I save it from the Message to the Gallery.But when I try to receive some other type of files which is not supported by the mobile, it receives the message, but it fails to open the bluetooth message and as a result, I am not able to save it to the Mass Memory. It says Un supported files.
Say for instance, I am trying to receive a docx (Microsoft Word) file, then I face this problem.Is there any way to save the file directly to any folder in memory without trying to open the received message?Had it been some protected files like .SIS or .SISX then I would agree, but It's bad if I am not able to receive general files.
I am unable to either receive or send any file via Bluetooth, When a another device sees me and tries to send, It asks for passcode, which i create a 4 digit, in matter of seconds it times out and looses connection. My phone can be seen by everyone when bluetooth are active, I accept the file that other people want to share and then a message such as "connection failed" or similar,appear on the phone of the other people. View 1 Replies View Related1. I got some serious problem here, I am using my home connection through wifi and my N900 is able to receive email from gmail but unable to send out. I checked the configuration through gmail website and it is correct for sure!
2. I tried to share photo using the share via facebook plugin or pixelpipe plugin, I get transfer error! I've no idea why. But I could use my wifi to validate facebook and pixelpipe account without any problem.
What I suspect is the outgoing connection issue. In fact I am using my laptop on the same wifi connection without any issue at all. What can I do on my N900 to fix this problem?I can use 3G to send out email and upload pictures to facebook but I can't do it via wifi!

I am using nokia 5230. The problem is whenever I select option Refresh Library, the device is unable to load new music files which I have transferred to memory card using PC suite. Music player is unable to load music files which are stored in memory card. I even updated the phone software but unable to solve this problem, but other files such as videos and images. I am able to see in gallery. Only problem is with the music files.....
