Originally I just thought it was just a small delay but almost a month later and still nothing. I have tried to receive manually, send a test email and deleted the account from my phone and reset it but nothing worked.

Jun 29, 2010I can't send MMS from my E71 in Russia (the mobile provider is Megafon) to Switzerland. I've already checked MMS settings and they are ok, because I can send mms within Russia. But it doesn't work when I try to send mms to swiss mobile number.
What can be the possible problem if it's not the mms settings and there is an agreement between mobile providers in these countries to send mms messages?

Mar 13, 2010E72-1- It can't send SMS messages anymore. I hadn't noticed it at first, was wondering why the persons I sent messages didn't replied when I responded to their messages. Then happened to check my phones Outbox, and 6 text messages are stuck in there for several hours already.Just to test the phone further (to check if it might be a SIM card problem), I put this SIM card on another phone, and I was able to send messages on that phone.I also placed another SIM card on the E72 and tested sending a message -- the message sending gets stuck at the Outbox and never sends. Receiving SMS messages appears to work fine. Also, calling out (voice calls) and receiving calls work.other notes: in settings: "Phone Memory" (instead of memory card) is used for text messages, configured to have up to 999 messages. Currently, have around 600 SMS messages in the Inbox and maybe 150 text messages in the Sent folder. Let's says that's only around 800 messages (not yet 999 messages).
What I tried:I changed the setting from "phone memory" to "memory card", but still unable to send messages. (I reverted it back to phone memory since that's where my messages are residing.)I did a soft reset *#7780# which reset the E72's settings. Tried again to send SMS message -- it still fails.I decided to do a hard reset, so I did a full backup using Ovi Suite first.Then I did the hard reset *#7370# -- and it did solve the problem (able to send messages again), unfortunately, I would need to reinstall all the applications, contacts and restore the messages I saved.I tried restoring the backup (it was pretty big at 2.3Gb), but it's taking a very very long time (nearly an hour) and it seems to fail near the end of the restoration. The backing up of the phone took awhile (maybe 20 minutes or so) since it backedup probably the whole memory card too. (I should probably have deleted a few unneeded big files from the memory card before I did the backup since it appears that Ovi Suite is also backing up those big files).
Right now, I'm doing the restoration a second time (a few hours since I first tried that and it sort of failed). During the restoration which ended with failure, it seems that when I tried sending SMS messages, it fails again. (ie. if I restore the backup, the problem is also restored) -- I'll check this again later if this is indeed the case.I still had around 130Mb free space left in the C: phone memory and the 4Gb microSDHD memory card had around 900Mb free space when I started the backing up in the first place. (mentioning these in case these might be related to the problem.)another thing: does restoring backups really take an extremely long time? (I haven't tried the restoration function before, though I did a backup maybe 2 months ago) Does the phone get in a sort of "stuck" or "hanging" mode during the latter part of the restoration procedure?

Jun 10, 2011I cannot make or receive calls and messages on my nokia e52 sometimes. When trying to make a call it shows a small lock in locked position near the green phone symbol. I then restart the phone and it works fine. It only occurs rarely like once in a week or two and you wont know unless you try to make a call or some one calls your land phone and tells that the mobile is switched off. I am using the latest software and has tried the factory reset.

Oct 28, 2010I got the black version bought in the end of May 2010, and got it repaired recently because of cracked speaker. The repair company also upgraded the firmware from 034.001 to 051.018 (the new firmware 051.018 crash a lot more often specially with music player or if you want to see pictures/movies).
Anyway, In relationship with the repair I also noticed that I could not receive or make any calls. If I try to make a call its all silent the signal strength says its great connection though with the full bars. And if someone tries to call me they hear the default: "the subscriber can not be reached now, please leave a number and end with #".
And if I restart the mobile the phone works as normal again, I can make calls and receive calls. Also SMS will be received now. This happened both with firmware 034.001 and 051.018. I am using 3G net with operator Tango mini/comviq in Sweden (and they dont have any problems with the net, also the restart would suggest the same thing). I would think this is related to too long uptime or the frequent soft reboots/crashes.

Jul 27, 20101. I got some serious problem here, I am using my home connection through wifi and my N900 is able to receive email from gmail but unable to send out. I checked the configuration through gmail website and it is correct for sure!
2. I tried to share photo using the share via facebook plugin or pixelpipe plugin, I get transfer error! I've no idea why. But I could use my wifi to validate facebook and pixelpipe account without any problem.
What I suspect is the outgoing connection issue. In fact I am using my laptop on the same wifi connection without any issue at all. What can I do on my N900 to fix this problem?I can use 3G to send out email and upload pictures to facebook but I can't do it via wifi!

Aug 6, 2010I have a Nokia N85 and i'm having trouble sending and receiving pictures full size. If i do receive pictures or send them to other phones they are signifcantly reduced in size and appear as a small square on screen. I have attached a pic of my phone screen with a picture displayed that was sent to me after from my girlfriends N85.
I have been through the settings to the best of my knowledge and set the image size to large but this seems to have no effect.To do this i went to MESSAGING>OPTIONS>SETTINGS>MULTIMEDIA MESSAGE>IMAGE SIZE (set this to large)

Oct 23, 2011When I receive a call my screen automatically locks and darkens. Sliding the key lock switch to unlock the phone doesn't work. Not having access to the screen is a problem for two reasons: 1. I don't know who is calling me (as the screen is dark) 2. I cannot use any of the phones functions (i.e. speaker, conference calls, hold, etc.) This all started when I upgraded to Software Version 022.014 with Software Version Date 2011-07-05. Both points above were working before this update.

Feb 12, 2012I've tried to update my E63 software using Nokia Suite v3.3.86 but in vain.
The steps I've followed in the 3rd step fo update process (i.e. Install) are as follows with screenshots attached:
1. It checks for valid installation file (see attached "Installation file validation.png"). Since the update has been downloaded by it previously, it proceeds to next step.
2. It starts preparing to install (see attached "Preparing to install.png").
3. It show USB connection active screen with a windows notification saying "Nokia E63 disconnected via USB" is seen on "Install screen". (see attached "Install Screen.png" for "Install Screen").
4. Next with the same USB connection active screen, a windows notification saying "Nokia E63 connected via USB" is seen on "Install screen".
5. The windows notification disappears and the screen is still at the "Install Screen" (see attached "Install Screen.png").
6. Nothing happens even after waiting for a long time. Clicking "Next" repeats the above mentioned process from step 2.
Dialing "*#0000#" gives the following info:
