I got Nokia E75 and tried to set up my Hotmail via Microsoft Exchange (since hotmail allows to do this). But every time it sync, I receive the following error "Unable to sync. Contact administrator if problem persists." All my data including calendar, contacts and also received mail, is synced except sent e-mails. I really need all this stuff being synced!
In my nokia e72-1 model, with firmware version 091.003 and mail for exchange Buld: 3.00.000,When I add mail box, it is getting added properly and even conects to the exchange server, but it does not download any mail to the mobile.
I have problems with repeating calendar events.I create event 1.6.2011, repeating every week for one year. I have set in phone to remove calendar events older than 3 week.After 3 week from 1.6.2011 all events from that repeating meeting are deleted from phone, including events which are in future.
E72 MfE sync problems after latest firmware, just wanted to add detail from admin_log1.txt (Nokia?) troubleshoot.Problem started as soon as I took latest firmware 031.023. Formatted memory card, *#7370# hard reset, reinstall f/w and still MfE fails to sync. Via a Blackberry and IPhone sync works fine, via phone browser to Outlook OWA access works fine too, so I'm assuming Activesync is fine server-side but something broken in new build.

My mail for exchange has locked up. The little wheel icon spins but it does not update. I normally just find the "full resync" option that deletes the content and then resyncs. This generally fixes any glitch. I did a software update last week and I have spent about 3 hours trying to find it. My software version is 211.12.01 date 31-03-01 custom version 211.12.01.204.04 date 26-08-10 I got this from *#0000#Can anyone tell me the how to access the full resync and if as I have heard rumoured it is no longer available how do you now achieve a resync?
I have a problem starting the Exchange ActiveSync on my E-7. I tried many times but it can not synchronise the mails from my Microsoft Outlook,can not send or recieve mails or says " cannot connect to the server ,check connection settings ". I made it working on my N95,it took me less then 5 min,and it works fine but not on E7.
I am delete Mail for exchange from my Nokia e5-00, but I need it's again where I can download that? I try [URL]but all version give error when install on ovi store write "Sorry, this item is not available for the Nokia E5-00."when I change model to e72, e71, e63 and other I get "not available"
After setting for Mail for Exchange, my Nokia E7 phone shows low memory. I checked C Memory & there are only important files & that too of small sizes. All major Applications are installed in Mass Memory only. Is "Low Memory" issue due to Mail for Exchange? If so, is it possible to transfer / change the data of Mail Exchange to Mass Memory instead of Phone Memory?
I'm using E72 Mail for Exchange for by business e-mails. Today I noticed that some of the e-mails, I sent from my E72, are sent with missing text. At first I thought it was about size of e-mail but it looks independent of size. Because there are some messages that sent 10 words only.
my exchange mail tooks too much time to open any mail or toggle between mails, i do not know why, and it made the mobe hanges some times and close the mail automatically, kindly note that the mobile version is updated.
But for some reason my Mail for Exchange widget is not displaying how many mails and the like have come in, The 'Tasks' Widget works fine - showing the 3 most current
why the Mail widget Just shows the Mail for exchange title??
I got a E72 that stops syncronize with exchange server. When pressing synchronize it connects but no new mails, contacts or bookings arrives. And no error info. The only way to solve the problem is to delete the profile and add it again, thet it works. I got the error now for the second time during 2 month.
I've purchased an E7 yesterday and proceeded to try to get Mail for Exchange set up with work.When I entered the value for the "Server name" I entered (the equiv of) myserverdomain.com/owa. The connection failed to connect and I suspect I should have simply put the domain name (not the owa bit) BUT when I go to "Options > Settings > Mail for Exchange > Mailbox" I cannot change the "Server name" field - tapping it does nothing.More generally, I CAN edit: { Mail, Password, Include Signature } and I CANNOT edit { Mailbox, Username, Servername, Domain).
OVI prompted me to download an app to improve mail for exchange display from 'text' display but now with my emails I get a message saying "Security policy that allows downloading HTML messages is disabled" but I cannot find a way to enable for HTML.
I need to know what are the latest builds for the Mail For Exchange, but also the mail client on the E72. Any ideas from where to find it? Mail For Exchange homepage did not had that information, which is so strange...
My E52 stops synchronising with Exchange after approx 10-14 days. Works perfectly for a while after initial sync, then after said period I just notice that sync of all objects (e-mail, contacts etc.) stops. No warnings, no error messages. All settings seem intact.
Only thing that works is a factory reset and setting everything up from scratch again.
today my company's email provider changed the hostname for the Exchange server, so I'm stuck with my E72 not syncronizing any more, since I can't edit the server name field in the configuration properties.First of all: is this behavior by design? Because in case it is, the "Change" item in the Options menu should really be removed.
I can't seem to find a way to sync the email on my Outlook Desktop to my E63. I bought this phone because it promised to sync with Outlook. I assumed that mean ALL of Outlook. It syncs very well with everything but the email. My problem is that I operate remotely and that my desktop email runs on Outlook 2007, which pulls my email off an IMAP4 server. I know the phone can do IMAP4 by itself.
The problem is when my Outlook pulls the messages from the IMAP4 server, it also deletes them from the server, making them inaccessible to the phone. Additionally, this is my private phone and I don't want to incur extra charges on account of my work. I like the ability to download the messages to my phone during a sync, take them with me, answer/delete/file them, and then have those actions carried out in Outlook when I sync the next time.
I bought an E7 two weeks ago and use the embedded mail programme with:
- Mail for Exchange Client (Job account) - IMAP G-Mail (Personal account) - IMAP GMX.net (Personal account)
Everything worked fine for one week, then my second IMAP-account (GMX) stopped syncing. In my browser I can see that there are unread messages in the account but the E7 does not download them.
I have three email accounts on my E72, two of which work just fine after I changed service provider/network (from TDC to Telenor, Denmark), but Ovi Mail doesn't sync.Pressing Z initiates the sync but then after one secon it gives up. There IS mail waiting on my account. I have made no changes to the phone apart from removing all connections associated with my old network. The phone is not sim-locked or anything.
I am getting some problems with my Nokia E7-00. While using the mail app, when I enter the 'contact search' options, I enter a contact name and select search. But there is always a message saying "Seach failed, try again later"!!! I have two mail accounts on my phone and this happens to both.
Our email system allows IMAP connections from mobile devices.It uses secure IMAP and SMTP ports and expects the password to be transmitted in clear text (over the SSL connection).I have been able to access my mail with IMAP using both an E52 and a 5800 with the default installed email application, but I am unable to send mail via SMTP as the password is being transmitted in an incompatible format.Is there an alternative email application that will allow me to fine tune password transmission?
Device: Nokia N8-00 Carrier: Three UKI have been using Mail for Exchange to sync my calendar and contacts between my N8 and by google apps account for several months. It stopped working last week, and I have been unable to fix it. The log just says "sync died (11)" but I have not been able to find out what that means.
We are currently running a test of a variety of Nokias - E52, E72 and E75 at my work. However, one user (using an E52) is experiencing problems with Mail for Exchange. She cannot send emails at all. An error message pops up saying "Unable to complete command" and then exits composition mode when trying to create a new email. I have been in contact with the tech support guys at work who're in charge of the Exchange server, but this user's account is just like everyone else's. We have tried doing the *#7370# trick several times as well as even swapping units - the units work with other users. Just not her. The phones are installed with the latest available firmwares, by the way. What do we do?
Everything worked well for over half a year until last Thursday.I sync my contacts, email and calendar with my Google Account via Mail for Exchange protocol. Contacts, calendar and email sync stopped working on Thursday. Manual sync does not work. I set up my Mail for Exchange mailbox again, reinstalled phone software.
I'm not using my E6 very often because of many disadvantages.The newest one:My Exchange ActiveSync is logging out every 5-10 minuts. Thats problematic. There is every 5 minuts a popup to login into Exchange ActiveSync. I think thats not normalWhat should i do now?
Have set up e-mail access on my E72-1 (updated with the latest Sofware and e-mail program) again after trying different methods to correct various imperfections). And now register that the e-mail program simply cuts sentences and words in e-mails I send from my PC. Sometimes the text is not displayed at all.
I send email from Thunderbird (v.17.0, released: November 20, 2012). And I've tried different settings for the format I send e-mails without success. When I send from a hotmail account or gmail account from the internet, there are no problems.
I've got a user with a Nokia E6 that's got Mail for Exchange configured on it. Mail and calendar are syncing OK but not the contactsThe user is 150 miles away and I don't have an E6 that I can play with here. I'm trying to talk her through editing the mail for exchange profile (and not having much luck). I'm sure if the phone was in front of me I'd sort it in 2 minsI've talked the user through going to Menu > Mail > Settings > Mail for Exchange > What to sync. She's telling me there's no option in there to select contactsWould anyone be able to tell me the exact button presses I'd need to check if contacts are set to sync and how to edit the Mail for Exchange profile to set them so that they do sync?
