Device: Nokia N8-00 Carrier: Three UKI have been using Mail for Exchange to sync my calendar and contacts between my N8 and by google apps account for several months. It stopped working last week, and I have been unable to fix it. The log just says "sync died (11)" but I have not been able to find out what that means.
View 1 RepliesI have new N8 with fresh Belle Refresh, no contacts in memory.I have tested Exchange ActiveSync connection with my google account.Everything works, contacts, mails and calendar were synced.Then i tried to turn off contacts sync - contacts from phone memory vanished.Then i deleted google mailbox and created new Exchange with other gmail account - since then contacts are not synchronized, even with sync turned on.I've deleted mailbox again and setup first one, still not contacts synchronized.

View 2 Replies View RelatedOur facility uses Exchange Server 2003, and I have not had problems with my Corporate Sync e-mail since receiving Froyo back in September. If I was sitting at my desk, I would consistently get a push notification on my phone a few seconds before I saw a new e-mail pop up on the Web Access client on my PC. It was great.All of a sudden, I am getting nothing. I missed several important e-mails over the weekend, and my phone will not show new messages unless I open the E-mail client and manually Refresh.
I have removed/re-added the Account a couple of times, but that doesn't seem to do any good. I have a colleague who has an Incredible, and his work e-mails are working just fine, so I wouldn't think it would be a problem with the Exchange server. The login/password aren't wrong, since I can Refresh and receive my new messages, but why would the push e-mail just halt? Are there known problems on the Blur servers? If so, is there a way we can find out about that without having to just miss a bunch of e-mails?
I have a problem starting the Exchange ActiveSync on my E-7. I tried many times but it can not synchronise the mails from my Microsoft Outlook,can not send or recieve mails or says " cannot connect to the server ,check connection settings ". I made it working on my N95,it took me less then 5 min,and it works fine but not on E7.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter a few days of excellent operation suddenly my E72 won't send e-mails through MfE any more. The emails just sit there in the outbox. Sometimes they get sent after several hours. I hit the send/receive button, it syncs but the emails don't get sent. I tried switching off/on the phone. I tried deleting the account and putting it back in. Sometimes I can send 1 e-mail after restart but then it stops. I receive e-mails with delay sometimes, even though I have sync schedule set to always on. My iPhone syncs with the same account and it works perfect. I tried in 2 different WLAN-nets with different ISP's and I tried over 3G. No difference. My network provider is Telenor Sweden.

the mail app sucks on nokia belle ...it just stops synchronising on my n8 after sometime...let it be auto or manual sync, it just doesnt work...it was working on anna for me...i have tried everything also tried not using the ovi server for synching mails...still doesnt work .i am using the gmail id ....it only works for sometime after i reboot my phone...and then again stops.nokia need an update?

Prior to this if i had my music playing and the sat nav giving me voice directions over the fm transmitter in my car the music would be stoppped while the voice read out the instruction over the radio speakers, this would then revert to the music playing over the fm transmitter again, oh how perfect it was. Now unfortunatley after upgrading to nokia maps 3.0 when my sat nav decieds to give me verbal instructions all sound is taken from the fm transmitter and comes from the phones internal speaker (not via my car stereo) and to top it all of it doesnt even shut down the music that is playing so i have to try and decipher the sat nav instruction over the music, is anybody else having this problem or is it just me and more to the point how do i fix i

This gets really confusing: Is the domain name an incomingt server or outgoing server, or something else entirely? Is the "Server" field for incoming or outgoing server? Is the "Port number" in advanced settings for the incoming or outgoing port?

The phone vibrates when it gets a call but it doesn't vibrate when a message comes ! I did not install advanced battery monitor also ! View 7 Replies View RelatedE72 MfE sync problems after latest firmware, just wanted to add detail from admin_log1.txt (Nokia?) troubleshoot.Problem started as soon as I took latest firmware 031.023. Formatted memory card, *#7370# hard reset, reinstall f/w and still MfE fails to sync. Via a Blackberry and IPhone sync works fine, via phone browser to Outlook OWA access works fine too, so I'm assuming Activesync is fine server-side but something broken in new build.

My mail for exchange has locked up. The little wheel icon spins but it does not update. I normally just find the "full resync" option that deletes the content and then resyncs. This generally fixes any glitch. I did a software update last week and I have spent about 3 hours trying to find it. My software version is 211.12.01 date 31-03-01 custom version 211.12.01.204.04 date 26-08-10 I got this from *#0000#Can anyone tell me the how to access the full resync and if as I have heard rumoured it is no longer available how do you now achieve a resync?
