I connect my phone to computer and check for updates in Nokia Software Update. After some update It get hang . and i push the wire from mobile . the mobile gets switched off . and now its not turning on.

Prior to this if i had my music playing and the sat nav giving me voice directions over the fm transmitter in my car the music would be stoppped while the voice read out the instruction over the radio speakers, this would then revert to the music playing over the fm transmitter again, oh how perfect it was. Now unfortunatley after upgrading to nokia maps 3.0 when my sat nav decieds to give me verbal instructions all sound is taken from the fm transmitter and comes from the phones internal speaker (not via my car stereo) and to top it all of it doesnt even shut down the music that is playing so i have to try and decipher the sat nav instruction over the music, is anybody else having this problem or is it just me and more to the point how do i fix i
View 5 Replies View RelatedYesterday my N8 stopped vibrating when it recieved a text message , I enabled vibration alert in the profile and checked if it was a hardware problem by calling . The phone vibrates when it gets a call but it doesn't vibrate when a message comes ! I did not install advanced battery monitor also ! I reset my phone and re-installed the latest firmware also , but still the problem persists

When I tried to open the Music Player, it showed only some 70 songs, instead of 172 which the Memory card had originally in it.I tried to Refresh the Music Player, initially it showed that files are been loaded.But after about 50 songs the device hanged up there.I tried to cancel the process, but it didn't respond anything. The Screen got struck and I have to switch-off mobile and start it again to resume it into operation. I tried to pull out the Memory card and insert it again, but the songs are not getting populated in the Music Player.
