Device: Nokia N8-00 Carrier: Three UKI have been using Mail for Exchange to sync my calendar and contacts between my N8 and by google apps account for several months. It stopped working last week, and I have been unable to fix it. The log just says "sync died (11)" but I have not been able to find out what that means.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a user who, around the time of the big RIM outage, lost the ability to receive emails from her work email. At the time I just left it alone since I thought it had to do with the outage. However, she still isn't receiving emails. I've tried to troubleshoot this by re-creating her account but I keep getting authentication failures that get delivered to the users mailbox. She contacted her provider and they were no help. I've also tried setting this up on another phone and run into the same issue. As far as the server itself, there hasn't been any changes at all.
View 5 Replies View RelatedAfter a few days of excellent operation suddenly my E72 won't send e-mails through MfE any more. The emails just sit there in the outbox. Sometimes they get sent after several hours. I hit the send/receive button, it syncs but the emails don't get sent. I tried switching off/on the phone. I tried deleting the account and putting it back in. Sometimes I can send 1 e-mail after restart but then it stops. I receive e-mails with delay sometimes, even though I have sync schedule set to always on. My iPhone syncs with the same account and it works perfect. I tried in 2 different WLAN-nets with different ISP's and I tried over 3G. No difference. My network provider is Telenor Sweden.

I am linked to the company Exchange Server. The phone successfully updates when changes are made on my PC, but changes made on my phone are not going back up the line to Exchange. Can anyone help with suggestions on what to investigate. I do not have direct access to Exchange settings and would need to involve IT if suggestions relate to server settings?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have new N8 with fresh Belle Refresh, no contacts in memory.I have tested Exchange ActiveSync connection with my google account.Everything works, contacts, mails and calendar were synced.Then i tried to turn off contacts sync - contacts from phone memory vanished.Then i deleted google mailbox and created new Exchange with other gmail account - since then contacts are not synchronized, even with sync turned on.I've deleted mailbox again and setup first one, still not contacts synchronized.

Exchange Active Sync is not working for me. It will not sync anything. I can not get or send email.This had worked fine for months. Tried rebooting phone and deleting and adding back account. In the settings did the verify account and it says sucessful. Works for email if I use the "Email Accounts" option and not "Corporate Sync" option but I need my contacts and calander also to work.

We are using exchange online. I do have over 1000 contacts, could the number of contacts I have be the issue?
Got a new Blackberry to use for both my personal and work e-mails. Previously work had supplied all Blackberrys but were moving to HTC, but as I am a luddite who prefers buttons, I opted out and to go it alone. Initially I managed to set up my outlook so that everything worked well - outlook mail, calander etc was synced, and updated regularly. I did thisvia the blackberry desktop, rather than the BES, as I knew this was being discontinued. Then I went on holiday last week, and while somewhere in Germany, my work mail stopped downloading (my personal mail carried on fine). Now I'm back, and it still won't work!

I have been using corporate sync on my phone for months and it worked great. Just this thursday it stopped working. Im getting an error message that says Connection error.
I know all my settings are correct. It isnt that a password was changed. With the same settings I am still able to sync the email on my Xoom. So I dont know why it wont work on my phone.
Ive tried deleted the whole account and re-adding it. When I put everything in, it acts like all is well, no errors. But when I go to the email and hit refresh I just keep getting the 'Connection error'?
Sync with Outlook calendar/tasks (regardless whether using USB or BT) fails with error code 8004fd22 in Ovi Suite. N900 says nothing.Backups and contacts sync with Ovi Suite works ok.Sync used to work earlier. The only thing I've done is that I've installed the Hildon patch, that fixes the "jumping" phone answer UI (from maemo.org). Should have nothing to do with sync, but who knows.Ovi Suite is of last available version on Win7/32bit and N900 has PR 1.2.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm using a TMobile Blackberry 9700 (OS 5.0.0.714) and have 6 email accounts attached, including 4 gmail accounts, one Yahoo! account, and another IMAP account through a private host. I use Apple's standard mail app (v4.5) in Leopard (OSX 10.6.8). A few months ago I finally figured out all of the IMAP tweaks between my private host and the gmail settings to get sync working correctly (finally!). In other words, if I delete a message on my phone, it's deleted from my laptop as well, and if I read a message on my laptop, it shows up as read on my phone. etc.
A few weeks ago, without making ANY changes to settings on my phone, computer, or mail accounts, all of these features stopped working. So a message deleted on my phone still shows up as a "new" message on my computer. Messages read or deleted on my laptop still show up as new/unread on my phone. I resent the service book. Even deleted the accounts from the phone and set them up again from scratch... same problem. I know that IMAP is still working correctly at the server level because if I delete a message on my iPad it is automatically deleted from the laptop and vice versa.
Messages deleted from the gmail website are automatically removed from my laptop. The problem only occurs with the Blackberry. The only reason I have stuck with Blackberry (instead of jumping to iPhone) is because of the superior messaging on Blackberry...and I do a ton of messaging. I am at a complete loss as to why the IMAP sync would just stop working without making any changes to my settings or device configuration. The sync also stopped working on my Yahoo! account and on my private ISP's email account.
On Thursday evening my Active Sync stopped working all of a sudden. The Calendar and Contacts still work. Is there a log where I can troubleshoot? My IT department will need hard facts ;-)

I was looking for an older email I could not find yesterday, so I decided to change my sync window from 3 day to 30 days. Right after that, all emails disappeared, and no matter how many times I tried to manually sync, nothng would show up again. Interestingly I can see all my folders, but all my folders say "no messages". Of course, when I access hotmail any other way (through Windows Live Mail on my PC or through the web, all the email is there). I have deleted the hotmail corporate sync account from the phone twice and re-setup twice, both times the installations were successful. I can always see the mail folders, but no mail messages. I also tested and found that I can send an email through hotmail.
Around end of Dec 2011, Picasa sync in MotoBlur stopped working on my ATRIX (System Ver.45.0.25.ME860.Retail.en.05).
I tried remove and add my Picasa account again. When I go to Gallery and refresh, a message came up and said "This action cannot be completed."
Our facility uses Exchange Server 2003, and I have not had problems with my Corporate Sync e-mail since receiving Froyo back in September. If I was sitting at my desk, I would consistently get a push notification on my phone a few seconds before I saw a new e-mail pop up on the Web Access client on my PC. It was great.All of a sudden, I am getting nothing. I missed several important e-mails over the weekend, and my phone will not show new messages unless I open the E-mail client and manually Refresh.
I have removed/re-added the Account a couple of times, but that doesn't seem to do any good. I have a colleague who has an Incredible, and his work e-mails are working just fine, so I wouldn't think it would be a problem with the Exchange server. The login/password aren't wrong, since I can Refresh and receive my new messages, but why would the push e-mail just halt? Are there known problems on the Blur servers? If so, is there a way we can find out about that without having to just miss a bunch of e-mails?

Unfortunately, unlike every other iPhone user, his Contacts have not been sync'ing with Outlook. I know I can go into "Settings", "Mail, Contacts, Calendar", Contacts and "Default Account" and change it here. However, I do not want to lose any of these iPhone Contacts.
