Around end of Dec 2011, Picasa sync in MotoBlur stopped working on my ATRIX (System Ver.45.0.25.ME860.Retail.en.05).
I tried remove and add my Picasa account again. When I go to Gallery and refresh, a message came up and said "This action cannot be completed."
Last night both my Twitter & Myspace accounts that are linked to my Motoblur account stopped working. I would constantly get an account error icon in my notification bar. I changed to passwords on both accounts, I made sure email and passwords were correct a million times lol
Nothing worked with Twitter or Myspace..SO I removed both accounts from my Motoblur account, re-added my Twitter account (which is now working fine) BUT my MySpace account is still not working.
I have removed it, changed the password, then tried to re-add it just like my Twitter account problem. It still won't work! IDK what is wrong, I have even tried without WIFI on
I get this error message from MotoBlur Account Management Screen when trying to add my MySpace account "Your entry is invalid, please try again"
Now I know this is false, can someone else tell me either how to fix this or is this a problem right now with MySpace?
Other android devices have the ability to synch with picassa to view their online albums am I missing something or is this a big whoops not included on Moto's part.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSince April I started experiencing issues with Picasa login. Time to time I have a notification icon that Picasa account login failed. I press re-try and this notification is gone for next few hours or even longer. I tried to re-enter the password and it didnLast two weeks same story is happening with my Hotmail mailbox.However, in case of Hotmail even re-try doesn't help. The issue solves itself over time, but it is very annoying because you never know your mailbox is synchronized or not.Both Picasa login and Hotmail were setup when I bought the phone and they worked fine for two and three month correspondently. The phone is updated to the latest official build 1.8.3.

Can someone let me know where I can procure this flex cable in the US? Is it available for online ordering?
View 6 Replies View Relatedjust today i did a factory restore to my phone running the 2.3.4 software and after reboot, where i had to give my motoblur data, i first set up wifi, than put in my account and password and did log in, it took unusually long ont eh progress bar and once it came al msot to the end it said there are issues signing into motoblur and i should retry, tried that twice to no avail, the only option i had was to turn off the phone, once i turned it on it already skipped to the location consent, with allegedly being logged into my account, but it wont load my settings from motoblur (ie the launcher setup or the speed dials in the dialer). I havent tried with a different account, since i wanted to get my settings back?

View 1 Replies View RelatedJust recently my voice-dial over my bluetooth stopped working - when I hit the button on my headset, all it does it redial the last number I had dialed. I'm not aware of any phone updates since it last worked. I've powered the phone off and on and still no luck. It was bad enough when I had to "wake it up" in order to use it. This is very frustrating - when I'm driving, I'm on the highway. I'm not stopping regularly for traffic lights so I can dial!

And the bad thing is after the 5 overheat my Camera does not work any more which is a problem because the is my most used feature. My aunt said the reason it overheats is because its trying hard to look for signal. No mods, no root, only one sideloaded app.

Did the CSR I reached have the wrong answer and should AT&T be able to delete my account, and if so to whom should I direct my inquiry?If not, how DO I delete the account? I already have been given the "create a new account" advice, which is obvious, but I don't care for having accounts of any kind lying around dormant. I paid regular price for it, but I can't create MotoBlur account, device error messages says that there is a problem with the internal device clock. Please try again." Logging in online, I get the message, "There was an internal error. Please try again later." I have search on the fourms and found no definitive answers. Live chat was no help either. I would rather not have to create a new motoblur account.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently rebooted to factory settings my Motorola Atrix (UK) - Android 2.3.4.Before resetting it, Motoblur was correctly retriving Twitter and Facebook messages. I was able to update both services status and leave comments on friends' status and messages.Following the factory reset, Motoblur can only post my status updates, it doesn't retrieve twitters from whose I'm following and Faceebook friends updates.Motoblur application is fully enabled in Facebook settings page.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded to GB, lost all my phone numbers in my contacts, but thankfully the special app worked and I retrieved them. I want to sync with gmail, but I must of choose the wrong default option, when you add a new one, it asks you gmail or motoblur, always use this choice.
I added a contact and it looks like its a motoblur contact, when I go into accounts motoblur has a lock symbol next to it (odd).
anyhow to the questions:
1) How do I change add contacts to use gmail, now that I do not have a choice when adding new contacts.
2) Is there a qucik guide to remote wipe.
3) Someone mentioned they used motoblur to find their phone, how can I do that?
4) How often does my contacts/books etc sync with gmail, can you increase/decrease it?
my atrix does teh same thing... already tried all the common suggestions short of factory reset (which i think is a LAME EXCUSE for trouble-shooting)
View 2 Replies View RelatedEver since the wi-fi at my work stopped working (whole separate issue which I still haven't figured out), I noticed my cellular data usage spike up significantly. Now obviously this shouldn't be surprising, as I've had to use cellular data instead of wi-fi, duh. However, all I really used my phone for at work was to check email, and the attachments were set to never automatically downloaded. I started analyzing my AT&T bill and noticed random large chunks of cellular data usage: 3-4 mb during the middle of the night, 15mb during the day, etc. The other day, my phone transferred nearly 40mb for 3 hours straight! I called up AT&T tech support, and they eventually put me all the way to Motorola second tier support, and yet no one could tell me what was going on. All they could tell me was that Android phones normally transfer data here and there in order to sync. BS -- the only account I have on sync is my gmail email and work calender. I have ZERO social applications set up with Motoblur.
After 3 hours on tech support, I gave up and decided to start toggling some settings. I turned on "Sync over Wi-Fi only" for data delivery of social applications, and this seems to have fixed it. The past two days my AT&T usage logs only show a few KB here and there. My battery also seems to last longer now, as it's not being forced to transfer data over 3G/4G for hours on end! Since I had no social applications set up with Motoblur, this makes no sense. Why would it still need to be transferring that much data??? Anyone else experience this? I wonder if someone at Motorola technical support could tell me exactly what was being sent to Motoblur.
I have been using corporate sync on my phone for months and it worked great. Just this thursday it stopped working. Im getting an error message that says Connection error.
I know all my settings are correct. It isnt that a password was changed. With the same settings I am still able to sync the email on my Xoom. So I dont know why it wont work on my phone.
Ive tried deleted the whole account and re-adding it. When I put everything in, it acts like all is well, no errors. But when I go to the email and hit refresh I just keep getting the 'Connection error'?

I was looking for an older email I could not find yesterday, so I decided to change my sync window from 3 day to 30 days. Right after that, all emails disappeared, and no matter how many times I tried to manually sync, nothng would show up again. Interestingly I can see all my folders, but all my folders say "no messages". Of course, when I access hotmail any other way (through Windows Live Mail on my PC or through the web, all the email is there). I have deleted the hotmail corporate sync account from the phone twice and re-setup twice, both times the installations were successful. I can always see the mail folders, but no mail messages. I also tested and found that I can send an email through hotmail.
I just got my Droid Razr Maxx HD and everything is great except I can't seem to get the Picasa functionality working. In the Gallery app when I hit the share button and hit Picasa it just says failed to retrieve account information. It also does not show me any of my Picasa galleries in the Gallery app like all of my previous phones(including the Droid Razr Maxx) did.
I also do not see a way to log into my Picasa account in the Accounts & Sync area of the phone settings. My Picasa and my Google account are the same by the way.
I installed the update which i got it today and looks like my calendar is not able to Sync.It was working fine till i installed this update.
View 1 Replies View RelatedOur facility uses Exchange Server 2003, and I have not had problems with my Corporate Sync e-mail since receiving Froyo back in September. If I was sitting at my desk, I would consistently get a push notification on my phone a few seconds before I saw a new e-mail pop up on the Web Access client on my PC. It was great.All of a sudden, I am getting nothing. I missed several important e-mails over the weekend, and my phone will not show new messages unless I open the E-mail client and manually Refresh.
I have removed/re-added the Account a couple of times, but that doesn't seem to do any good. I have a colleague who has an Incredible, and his work e-mails are working just fine, so I wouldn't think it would be a problem with the Exchange server. The login/password aren't wrong, since I can Refresh and receive my new messages, but why would the push e-mail just halt? Are there known problems on the Blur servers? If so, is there a way we can find out about that without having to just miss a bunch of e-mails?
I've had a problem where my facebook contacts were no longer displaying pictures and when happenings had picture posting; they were not being displayed. I finally figured out today that it had to do with me setting up my Facebook account to use https for security logins. Once I've changed my facebook account to no longer use the "https" and deleted and readded my facebook account on my cliq all of the contacts displayed the pictures again. Prior to trying this, I had reset my phone a few times, deleted/readded the facebook account and this is the only thing that finally worked.
