Xperia Z2 :: Unfortunately Exchange Service Stopped
Jun 10, 2014Since a couple of days my new Xperia Z2 shows the message "unfortunately Exchange Service Stopped" - i can just confirm OK. After some time the message pops up again.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using Bold 9900. Last time I can sending and receiving email from my work by using my BB device. Due to security policies I'm no longer able receive email from my work. I have to register my name (as blackberry user) and meet the company policies before able to receive push mail from exchange server.Since my Bold not provided by the company (this is my personal phone) so I don't want to meet the company policies as my office mate using Iphone, Android and Windows phone do not meet the policies at all for their personal phone and no problem with sending and receiving email.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a user who, around the time of the big RIM outage, lost the ability to receive emails from her work email. At the time I just left it alone since I thought it had to do with the outage. However, she still isn't receiving emails. I've tried to troubleshoot this by re-creating her account but I keep getting authentication failures that get delivered to the users mailbox. She contacted her provider and they were no help. I've also tried setting this up on another phone and run into the same issue. As far as the server itself, there hasn't been any changes at all.

Device: Nokia N8-00 Carrier: Three UKI have been using Mail for Exchange to sync my calendar and contacts between my N8 and by google apps account for several months. It stopped working last week, and I have been unable to fix it. The log just says "sync died (11)" but I have not been able to find out what that means.

The sim service menu(one with the sim card icon) does not open when clicked which is annoying as I use it alot.I usually have to do a full restore which deletes all my data to make it work again which really sucks. Then a few weeks later the problem reapears again, and that sucks even more. Im really fatigued at this point. Whats the point of saving stuff when you have to delete it every other week? Is there any other way to fix this without losing my data?

View 1 Replies View RelatedHave a blackberry bold (unlocked) bought from Wind in Italy with a sim card. I've run into a data roaming problem a few times, and am experiencing it right now while traveling in Austria. It worked fine roaming for several days, and then all of a sudden I can't get data service (just get a lower case gprs). I know the network is fine, since my husband's blackberry is working fine. And I know there's a roaming agreement in place, since it worked fine for several days.
I've tried all the obvious things: turned radio on and off, switched to 2G only, registered from the host routing table (never receive the registration), battery pull, and finally a reset to factory default settings. Still nothing. This has happened a couple times before when roaming in another country, and the only thing that seems to work is going back to Italy, when it all works fine again. I'm traveling for a while, so it would be very nice to get it working before returning home.
After this most recent system update, I've been receiving this error message: suggestions poll scheduler service (process.com.motorola.process.system) has stopped unexpectedly. Try again. And only allows foce close.

This makes the phone unusable.I have performed a factory reset and the error was away for 24 hrs but now it has reappeared.

I know my Exchange email address (it's just user@exchange.company.com versus my normal @company.com email address) but I have a couple questions:Does Exchange allow IT depts. to lock down Exchange to approved decives/device IDs?We have to change passwords every month or so, but I never have to do anything on my Blackberry to keep getting email pushed - how does Echange handle that? I am using two different accounts on my Z2. The first one is my GMail account. Everything's perfect avout this. Second is my Exchange account. Here I figured ut that the Z2 des not sync my contacts. I checked all settings for the account and contacts are marked to be synced, but without success.
View 9 Replies View RelatedFor the past couple of weeks I've been having issues with my device and push mail, I'll check the phone in the afternoon and it'll say last updated 10:30 - swipe to update and all my mail comes in.
The device is not in Stamina mode and I've even disabled the "queue background data" option but not joy. Removed and re-added my account also, oh and cleared out all of my devices in Exchange web mail.
Just downloaded TouchDown to see if its the native email application causing the issue and that works fine.
I am wondering if the last software update has caused an issue, been working fine up until a few weeks ago.
I have a Sony Xperia Z3 with Android 4.4.4 experiencing a serious Exchange ActiveSync bug with sporadic notification lag for Automatic (push) setting. I have no energy saving features enabled on my phone.
Since Microsoft Exchange is one of most common mail servers in the world this could be a showstopper for a lot of companies?
This is year 2014 and automatic notification for emails is a must otherwise the phone can't be trusted as a working tool? I don't want to login to my phone everytime I need to check if I have a received a new email.

The phone successfully updates when changes are made on my PC, but changes made on my phone are not going back up the line to Exchange. Can anyone help with suggestions on what to investigate. I do not have direct access to Exchange settings and would need to involve IT if suggestions relate to server settings?

After the .587 update i found out that this app is syncing too much. when ever my Ray is connected to a data service (2G, 3G, WiFi) is starts to sync lot of data. when i see the data usage it consums the majority share. like 800MB for every 1000MB used. and all the data comes as backgroud data. even if i restrict background data it does not stop syncing. is there any way to restrict the data usage as it consumes all the data provided and battery just for syncing. this forces me to turn off data service when i dont use my Ray. with the previous firmware my mobile used to be 24/7 connected to data sarvice and i had 16 hrs battery back up. now it last only for 3 - 4 hrs if i dont trun off the data service.

It only finds the Mail Account, but doesn't sync Calendar and Contacts...after this worked like a charm on my old S4..

I have an Xperia Z5 (E6653) and I have a microsoft office 365 (business version) account that manages all my email, calendar & contacts. I setup the account through the built in "gmail" app because the contacts & calendar would not sync at all through the native mail app.
The problem I have is that I can see & call my exchange contacts with no problems, they sync fine from the server, but I can't make any changes to the contacts via the phone's native "contacts" app, the edit symbol is there but when i tap the symbol it takes me to the next sreen (edit screen) and from there the screen is basically useless, all the details are grey and un-editable *screenshot attached* ....
