View 5 RepliesAt least a quick browse did not give any answers to the following:If I enter a calendar note to my Xperia Pro, it does not appear in the Exchange server's (2007) calendar. The other way around it works. Contacts and emails sync, too.
Is Outlook somehow ignoring third party requests? How to fix it?
I had previously set up my mini pro to sync with my company's exchange server, first when it was running 2.4, and maintained the data when I upgraded to ICS.
It stopped working last week, so I erased the data and thought I could re-configure it again. However, no matter how many times I input the various settings, it still won't create the account.
Is this an inherent problem with ICS running on mini pros? Or is the manufacturer pushing me towards the bundled Moxier Pro app?
What is the Microsoft exchange server address and Domain name for roadsync? trying to set it up months now but to no avail.

Port 25, no security.I have seen this problem reported on the internet a number of times but have not found a solution.
View 3 Replies View Relatedtoday my company's email provider changed the hostname for the Exchange server, so I'm stuck with my E72 not syncronizing any more, since I can't edit the server name field in the configuration properties.First of all: is this behavior by design? Because in case it is, the "Change" item in the Options menu should really be removed.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been connected to my work email account through Microsoft Exchange for the past year with no problems. I was trying to send out an email today, and my iPhone could not connect to the server. I tried to re-connect multiple times, ultimately deleting the email account from my phone and attempting to re-install it. When I put in all the info into their respective fields and hit "next," all I get is a message that says "Exchange account verification failed." When I go through and save it anyway and try and update emails, it says that it cannot connect to the server. My IT dept. says no changes were made, and I've already tried a restore and restored from a backup, as well.I have no contacts, emails, or calendar on my phone!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought the C3-00 a month ago and after several problems like phone attaching to the gprs on its own and firing all my credit, getting stuck for no reason when opening gmail with the gmail application, today I had to remove the battery for the first time trying to find out the security code - which no one set and which is supposedly "12345" by default (only not because it DOESN'T work) - because I wanted to reset it to the factory setting, the phone which two seconds prior that action - removing the battery - was connecting with no problems with my pc wifi now when opening the browser Opera is giving me the title error:
Failed to connect to the internet. "Verification of server certificate failed. Please check the date setting in your device"**bleep**?! I always thought about Nokia as a reliable brand, this phone is a MESS, bugs everywhere, and now this?!
A) I can't factory-rest the damn thing because I don't know the security code, security code which I never set. The supposedly factory code 12345 doesn't work.
B) After removing the battery the wifi is USELESS and the phone doesn't connect to the internet anymore. It goes to the nokia.ovi and the accuweather links and such, but the default browser (so ACTUALLY using internet)?? NO WAY..
I'm working on rolling my own MDM service, and I'm trying to combine the SCEP and MDM payloads as the MDM protocol document from Apple suggests. I created my own SCEP web service in C# .Net and I know that the device can get a valid certificate when I just send the SCEP payload. However when I also include an MDM payload that points to the SCEP payload's UUID via the IdentityCertificateUUID key, I get the following error, "The enrollment server did not provision a valid identity certificate." This configuration is the one that is sent after the user chooses to install the initial enrollment configuration (step 1 of phase 2 in this diagram). The device doesn't appear to even make an attempt at connecting to my server, and thanks to server side logging I know that it never reaches my SCEP web service page. This seems to indicate that there's something wrong with the certificate I use to sign the payload. I've separately tried signing it with my SSL certificate (from a pre trusted root authority), my customer MDM push certificate (chained from our vendor cert), and my self-signed root certificate authority certificate (created via makecert.exe) that the SCEP service uses to issue new certificates (i.e. device identity certificates).I've looked at the output from the iPCU (iPhone Configuration Utility) when I create a profile with both the MDM and SCEP payloads, and it isn't a valid profile (I've even tried copying it nearly wholesale). However when I install the profile via the iPCU the error doesn't come up and it begins the SCEP enrollment process without issue.A side note - using a preexisting MDM vendor is not an option here.Below is the profile I'm using:

I am using a Nokia N97 with the v21 firmware. I am connecting to a mail server via IMAP, using the phone's mail client (not mail for exchange). This has previously worked perfectly, however now I cannot update my inbox and view the emails. When I try to update the inbox, I get a dialogue box that says "Website has sent an untrusted certificate". After choosing "allow permanently", the inbox does not update. The message comes up every time I try to update (even when I've previously chosen "allow permanently".
I can however successfully send emails via the SMTP server using the phone (IMAP for sending is restricted, so have to use SMTP). Does anyone have any ideas on why this is happening, and how I can solve it? I've also contacted the IT guys for the mail server, as I'm not sure whether the problem lies with the mail server or the phone, or both.
I avoid installing all kinds of software but recently upgraded to BBM v7. Since then I have been getting the followin message whenever I connect to WIFI:you are attempting to open a secure connection but the server's certificate chain is invalidCert belongs to *voip.blackberry.comI have tried all the options including saving the cert in my truststore. Still happens.

I'm having an issue with IOS 5.1.1. Since Monday, my iPhone is downloading emails from my Exchange (outlook) account like it always has, the problem is, when I delete an email in Outlook, it's not deleting from my phone. Similarly, reading an email in Outlook doesn't mark it as "read" on my phone. This leaves me at the end of the day with hundreds of unread/extraneous emails on my phone that I have already addressed, filed or deleted in Outlook. How do I correct this?
This is weird because it has worked correctly with everything syncing properly up until this week, and I did not update anything.
I'm using a PC for the Outlook - same PC as always, and no updates unless my company updated something remotely without my knowledge.
I have set up my email account using the "Exchange" option when I added it. Already tried deleting and re-adding the account (twice).
I carried out the gingerbread FOTA update yesturday, and now I cannot sync with my exchange server. It worked fine before the upgrade. I even deleted the account and tried to re-configure with the same server and domain details, but all i get is a message saying it failed to connect to the server

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhenever i set up the exchange mail account, i have to set up a pin or password to unlock my phone. When i want to change back the pin / password to a pattern, i cant and it says: "disabled by administrator encryption policy or credential storage"
Normally the reply on this post would be, your company has set up these minimum requirements for security purposes and you cant put up the mail/agenda unless you accept the terms of the company.
The weird thing is, my company doesn't`t require any security measures at all. If you want to swipe to unlock, you can (well, other people can ).
