Cseries :: C3-00 "Verification Of Server Certificate Failed

Mar 28, 2011

I bought the C3-00 a month ago and after several problems like phone attaching to the gprs on its own and firing all my credit, getting stuck for no reason when opening gmail with the gmail application, today I had to remove the battery for the first time trying to find out the security code - which no one set and which is supposedly "12345" by default (only not because it DOESN'T work) - because I wanted to reset it to the factory setting, the phone which two seconds prior that action - removing the battery - was connecting with no problems with my pc wifi now when opening the browser Opera is giving me the title error:

Failed to connect to the internet. "Verification of server certificate failed. Please check the date setting in your device"**bleep**?! I always thought about Nokia as a reliable brand, this phone is a MESS, bugs everywhere, and now this?!

A) I can't factory-rest the damn thing because I don't know the security code, security code which I never set. The supposedly factory code 12345 doesn't work.

B) After removing the battery the wifi is USELESS and the phone doesn't connect to the internet anymore. It goes to the nokia.ovi and the accuweather links and such, but the default browser (so ACTUALLY using internet)?? NO WAY..

Galaxy S6 :: Dm-verity Verification Failed

Jun 3, 2015

I tried to flash my phone with the UK firmware, it failed and could not start my phone. Someone told me I should use Kies, so I did that and was able to get stock firmware back on phone. I then rooted with CF-root and everything went fine.

When I now boot into recovery some random blue android robot guy pops up and after a little time (15-20 seconds) he dies with a red cross over his head. I then get into recovery mode just fine, but at he bottom it says: dm-veity verification failed..

Google Nexus 5 :: Android 5.01 - Verification Failed

Mar 26, 2015

Okay so I've just received a refurbished Nexus 5 from Google as my old one had a hardware power button fail. Anyway I've decided this time round I'm not going to root and wanted the phone completely stock so thought I would do all the OTA updates it gives me before I start messing around with it but have a slight problem.

The phone came installed with 4.4.2 and did an over the air update to 4.4.4 it now wants to upgrade to 5.0.1 however whenever I download the update which is 479.5MB it downloads it and tries to 'verify' install and then I get a 'verification failed' every time and it doesn't install? (may I add I have literally not touched the phone it's come straight from Google, the only thing I've done is logged into my Google account and updated whatever stock apps needed updating in the play store)

IPhone :: The Enrollment Server Did Not Provision A Valid Identity Certificate

Jun 22, 2012

I'm working on rolling my own MDM service, and I'm trying to combine the SCEP and MDM payloads as the MDM protocol document from Apple suggests. I created my own SCEP web service in C# .Net and I know that the device can get a valid certificate when I just send the SCEP payload. However when I also include an MDM payload that points to the SCEP payload's UUID via the IdentityCertificateUUID key, I get the following error, "The enrollment server did not provision a valid identity certificate." This configuration is the one that is sent after the user chooses to install the initial enrollment configuration (step 1 of phase 2 in this diagram).The device doesn't appear to even make an attempt at connecting to my server, and thanks to server side logging I know that it never reaches my SCEP web service page. This seems to indicate that there's something wrong with the certificate I use to sign the payload. I've separately tried signing it with my SSL certificate (from a pre trusted root authority), my customer MDM push certificate (chained from our vendor cert), and my self-signed root certificate authority certificate (created via makecert.exe) that the SCEP service uses to issue new certificates (i.e. device identity certificates).I've looked at the output from the iPCU (iPhone Configuration Utility) when I create a profile with both the MDM and SCEP payloads, and it isn't a valid profile (I've even tried copying it nearly wholesale). However when I install the profile via the iPCU the error doesn't come up and it begins the SCEP enrollment process without issue.A side note - using a preexisting MDM vendor is not an option here.Below is the profile I'm using:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">

Nokia :: Error When Connecting To IMAP Mail Server - Untrusted Certificate

Apr 14, 2010

I am using a Nokia N97 with the v21 firmware. I am connecting to a mail server via IMAP, using the phone's mail client (not mail for exchange). This has previously worked perfectly, however now I cannot update my inbox and view the emails. When I try to update the inbox, I get a dialogue box that says "Website has sent an untrusted certificate". After choosing "allow permanently", the inbox does not update. The message comes up every time I try to update (even when I've previously chosen "allow permanently".

I can however successfully send emails via the SMTP server using the phone (IMAP for sending is restricted, so have to use SMTP). Does anyone have any ideas on why this is happening, and how I can solve it? I've also contacted the IT guys for the mail server, as I'm not sure whether the problem lies with the mail server or the phone, or both.

We have re-entered the correct information many times and also tried the account on my iPhone 4 and it gives the exact same error.
