BB Storm :: Set Up Exchange Email With The Enterprise Server
Jun 24, 2011
I'm trying to set up my Exchange email with the Enterprise Server, but when I go into the Setup Wizard and then email setup, I get a screen that says: Status: Initializing service (Desktop) with the word "Cancelling" above that. I can'tget past that screen to input my password. Any ideas how to correct and move past this screen?
Somehow I do not have the "I want to create or add an email address" option but only the bb enterprise server option. Thus am not able to setup my gmail account as my address on my bb.
How do I receive the password for the BlackBerry Enterprise Server system as I have had my BlackBerry for about 2-3 weeks now and still have no idea.
I recently got my bb 9300 on a 29 BYO plan with optus. When I attempt to set up my mail account the only option i get from the set up wizard is "I want to use a work email account with a Blackberry Enterprise Server". get the other option which allows me to add my gmail accounts?
I have jut received the blackberry 8520 from my mum who security wiped the phone just before I received it, now when I go to set up an email account only the enterprise server option is mad available and I am looking for the phone to be personal Internet aolution how do I change this.
I recently had to get a new blackberry curve 8530 through a warranty, and am not able to set up my email because I only have the enterprise server option. I did not have this issue with my old phone, which was the same model, and no changes have been made to my plan.
Email setup? When I go to the Email Accounts setup page, it explains that I can activate my enterprise account by entering my email address and activation password. I'd be happy to do that, if I had an enterprise account, which I believe (cld. be wrong) is what companies use. I'm just an ordinary user, not using the phone via my company - but I can't see any other option on the setup page. Is there another way I can setup email?
I have an exchange server account, the mail is configured both on my outlook & BB. when someone sends me an email, I will receive on the BB again when I open the outlook and view the same email, the same email pops again on my BB. Tired of deleting the duplicate emails.
I am trying to set up my corporate exchange email in my Z3, but i get a message of "you do not have permission to sync with this server....". I have no problems setting up exchange email in my Samsung or Ipad using the same credentials.
Since upgrading, CorporateSync can no longer communicate with our MS Exchange email server at work. I am in I.T., and spent the moring with two co-workers troubleshooting this. We moved the phone into a test area with no policies, then turned on and off each policy, testing connectivity results for each one.The only policy preventing the phone from connecting to the server was, "Password Required". The phone can connect to the server only if a password is not required.
I have tried every way possible to get my storm 2 to activate with my company email and will not connect? I talked with my IT department and they have supplied us with all the information. It wants an exchange URL, and I have provided that URL for outlook web access and the server and will not accept it. My IT does not have an answer and neither does Verizon.
today my company's email provider changed the hostname for the Exchange server, so I'm stuck with my E72 not syncronizing any more, since I can't edit the server name field in the configuration properties.First of all: is this behavior by design? Because in case it is, the "Change" item in the Options menu should really be removed.
My company is a little behind the times and I do not even know the correct terms to search for an answer to my questions within these forums. We are running Microsoft Exchange 2003 and we just set everyone up with a company domain email address (Exchange address?).I would like to be able to connect a smartphone to the server so I can sync my email, calendar, and contacts.I have a Storm 9530 on Verizon, but other employees have other phones. One uses an iPhone, the other is looking at a Droid. Is there a quick and easy way to access Exchange on our phones? Do we have to have a third party app?My wife, who is in no way tech-savvy, was able to easily sync with her work email, calendar, and contacts on her personal iPhone after a simple walk-through phone call with her IT department (They have since somehow disabled this function for non company issued phones. I think just to **** her off.)I would like to be able to send emails from my phone and have them show up on my server. Syncing the calendar and contacts would be an added bonus. Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction? Oh, and by the way, I AM the IT department.
I've been connected to my work email account through Microsoft Exchange for the past year with no problems. I was trying to send out an email today, and my iPhone could not connect to the server. I tried to re-connect multiple times, ultimately deleting the email account from my phone and attempting to re-install it. When I put in all the info into their respective fields and hit "next," all I get is a message that says "Exchange account verification failed." When I go through and save it anyway and try and update emails, it says that it cannot connect to the server. My IT dept. says no changes were made, and I've already tried a restore and restored from a backup, as well.I have no contacts, emails, or calendar on my phone!
How do I add my mailbox to the Blackberry Enterprise Server?
I am trying to get my Outlook email on my phone, and when I go to Device Options, under Enterprise Email, it says that Enterprise email services are currently unavailable because my administrator has not added my mailbox to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
my BB tour 9630 has been unable to connect with Enterprise Server. And i av tried all my possible best to solve the mess but it proved abortive!what can i do?
I am struggling to find out how to deactivate my Enterprise Accounts. I made a mistake in setting this up and now I want to remove the accounts, but I dont know how to.
I was connected at one point, then all of a sudden it says I'm not. I have an account active but not connected? Why did this happen and how can I connect to it again?
Does BlackBerry have an encryption solotion without the use of the enterprise server. My company only has about 5 employee that have blackberries but we need to have encryption on them.
I have a phone from my company that I no longer use. Seems like the enterprise server hijacked the phone. How can I get it to where it was before? Or unlock it.
I have a 9780 with OS6 bundle 2115 (v6.0.0.480, platform 6.5.0.153), carrier is Maxis Communication.I was from Malaysia, usually I was using TM streamyx wifi service or even any other free wifi zone and it was fine to connect to BB enterprise server, recently I was upgraded my home network to Unifi service which is using fiber optic cable for more faster speed and stable, after upgrading to this I found out that I was unable to connect to BB enterprise server, do I need any new setting to calibrate to connect or need to refer to the service provider?
I was setting up enterprise server and my IT Policy from my corporation got on my phone. I no longer wont to use my enterprise e-mail and i want to delete the settings that the server use to need. I cant get rid of the encryption and it makes me keep a password on my phone. how do I get it back to where I can change the level of security?
