I have an exchange server account, the mail is configured both on my outlook & BB. when someone sends me an email, I will receive on the BB again when I open the outlook and view the same email, the same email pops again on my BB. Tired of deleting the duplicate emails.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI connected my Bold9780 to my PC and I was told there was a device upgrade and that it would take some time. I set it off and my computer crashed (power cut). At first all seemed ok, the upgrade seems to have been successfully installed. However I cannot send or receive emails now. I have tried to reconcile and nothing at all happens. If I try to access my email via settings I just get a message saying "Your device has a problem connecting to the internet" and I'm offered RETRY or CANCEL I've retried loads of times without success. The phone and texting work fine but I cannot access any apps either as it just says "server can not be found"

I can't even exit the app. I have to remove the battery to be able to use the device again. This has been a long standing problem with this device. I was hoping to resolve it by reloading everything but there has been no improvement.How do I repair or replace the Email Accounts app?

When I create the account in my iPhone it verifys and leads me to believe the account is functional. When i go to send/receive mail, I receive a "Connection to the server failed" error. I have port 443 open on my firewall and can send/receive from OWA.I have rebuilt the account numerous times with both SSL turned on and off (both server and phone side).I have no special policies configured on the server either.

Just getting my wife's iPhone 4 setup and updated to 4.0.1. Her Microsoft Exchange account works correctly on her old 3G (3.1.3) and on her iPad (3.2.1) but gives this error when trying to retrieve mail: "The connection to the server failed" on the iPhone 4. We have re-entered the correct information many times and also tried the account on my iPhone 4 and it gives the exact same error.
Again, the account seems to setup and verify fine under settings > mail > etc.. but once we try to retrieve the mail it fails with the server error.
I have an iphone 4 with the lastest iOS 5.1. I use 3 email accounts Gmail, Yahoo and my work Exchange email.
Since the last 3-4 days ONLY my exchange account keeps re-downloading my emails. I have tried
- Resetting
- Re-configuring
- Deleted accounts - adding them again.
- adding only exchange
- removing iCloud
nothing works!

I'm trying to set up my Exchange email with the Enterprise Server, but when I go into the Setup Wizard and then email setup, I get a screen that says: Status: Initializing service (Desktop) with the word "Cancelling" above that. I can'tget past that screen to input my password. Any ideas how to correct and move past this screen?

First when I configure the account it works well and downloads all emails, then after some time when I re-open mail application on iPhone, the emails will be downloaded again.

I am trying to set up my corporate exchange email in my Z3, but i get a message of "you do not have permission to sync with this server....". I have no problems setting up exchange email in my Samsung or Ipad using the same credentials.
My Z3 has android version is 4.4.4.
Since upgrading, CorporateSync can no longer communicate with our MS Exchange email server at work. I am in I.T., and spent the moring with two co-workers troubleshooting this. We moved the phone into a test area with no policies, then turned on and off each policy, testing connectivity results for each one.The only policy preventing the phone from connecting to the server was, "Password Required". The phone can connect to the server only if a password is not required.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a 9780 with OS6 bundle 2115 (v6.0.0.480, platform 6.5.0.153), carrier is Maxis Communication.I was from Malaysia, usually I was using TM streamyx wifi service or even any other free wifi zone and it was fine to connect to BB enterprise server, recently I was upgraded my home network to Unifi service which is using fiber optic cable for more faster speed and stable, after upgrading to this I found out that I was unable to connect to BB enterprise server, do I need any new setting to calibrate to connect or need to refer to the service provider?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have hunted around for this answer but haven't found it.I was so excited to read about BES Express as I thought it would finally allow full sync between my exchange server and my Bold 9700.However... my server is hosted (I am a one man band!). Will BESX be able to be integrated on to a hosted exchange server? Or will it be solely and only for people with their own exchange server? Initially I thought it was just going to be software to install onto my phone but I now think it will need to be installed server side. Also, will it possibly be available do you think as a fully hosted solution, in the same way as some providers offer hosted a BES and Exchange solution? i.e. a hosted BESX and Exchange solution? I'd be really interested to know your thoughts. I was so excited and now it seems that my excitement was misplaced!
View 7 Replies View RelatedOn the 1st October I had a message to request that to validate my work/exchange email account on my Torch 9800. Not sure why I was asked as nothing had been changed on my work server at that particular time. Anyway, II had done this succesfully numerous times previously so knew the process to follow. However on this occasion i received a message to say that my email address or username were incorrect.
With the help of my system administrator I tried numerous times on the device and on a web browser on my pc to validate my details. All with no success. Strangely a couple of times when I requested a new password from the o2/BB internet help service, I was told that a message had been successfully sent to my device. Nothing was ever received either as a text or at my registered email address.
I assumed my problem was associated with all the widely reported BB server problems, but when that was resolved by BB I still could not validate my email. In exasperation I deleted the account from my device and tried to reset it up again as a new one. Sadly when I try - and there have been too many now to recall - all I ever get is the message to 'verify my email address, username and password'. All these have been confirmed numerous times by my system administrators, and they now believe my account may have been blocked or something?
My app world on the 9780 has not been working. First it would ask me to login after which it would just show me my details and not download. After downloading the application again it just tells me, "An error has occurred. Please try again later. This has been going on for four days now.

I have a new job now and no longer have access to the original main Exchange account, so need to delete this. However given that I have been using this Calendar for personal appointments / events I don't want to lose all this info. How do I either backup my current Exchange calendar to iCloud, or to some other format that I can then re-import under a new Exchange account?

I was trying to send out an email today, and my iPhone could not connect to the server. I tried to re-connect multiple times, ultimately deleting the email account from my phone and attempting to re-install it. When I put in all the info into their respective fields and hit "next," all I get is a message that says "Exchange account verification failed." When I go through and save it anyway and try and update emails, it says that it cannot connect to the server. My IT dept. says no changes were made, and I've already tried a restore and restored from a backup, as well.I have no contacts, emails, or calendar on my phone!

Update - one IMAP and one POP3 account
I deleted an old email address from my iPhone and added a new account. The phone is pulling the new account's information. Tunes is worrying me, though. In my iTunes settings for my iPhone, under the "info" tab and in the "sync mail accounts" section, my previous email address is used for the server name.
So it says:
Gmail (IMAP:oldaddress@imap.gmail.com)
Instead of:
Gmail (IMAP:newaddress@imap.gmail.com)
