It's impossible to connect my smartphone to my work’s exchange mail account. I tried it for several days, but without any success. How to get this mail account to work with the stock apps?!
I am using two different accounts on my Z2. The first one is my GMail account. Everything's perfect avout this. Second is my Exchange account. Here I figured ut that the Z2 des not sync my contacts. I checked all settings for the account and contacts are marked to be synced, but without success.
I have a Sony Xperia Z3 with Android 4.4.4 experiencing a serious Exchange ActiveSync bug with sporadic notification lag for Automatic (push) setting. I have no energy saving features enabled on my phone.
Since Microsoft Exchange is one of most common mail servers in the world this could be a showstopper for a lot of companies?
This is year 2014 and automatic notification for emails is a must otherwise the phone can't be trusted as a working tool? I don't want to login to my phone everytime I need to check if I have a received a new email.
This is being highlighted at official "Android Open Source Project - Issue Tracker" as well.
Issue 73691: Push notifications significantly delayed on stock email app
I recently received an iPhone 4S from work, love it! My one disappointment, I can't figure out how to set my Outlook "out of office" from my iPhone. My blackberry had a simple option with in my email settings. Is there a comparable option on the iPhone?
I have an iPhone4S. The company I work for uses microsoft 365. My contacts are constantly duplicating I can't turn off "contacts" and stop them from continuing to sync becuase it will erase all of my contacts on my phone. Is there a way to back up or export my contacts on my phone, turn off syncing contacts and import? Please help! This is so frustrating.
i was able to add exchange without any problem but when i go to the mail it will have error 'cannot get email'. i setup all the activesycn configuration in exchange 2010 and firewall ports. i have no problem connecting from my mac laptop with outlook-mac, it sync fine with calendar/contacts/task.
The checkbox for push synching keeps inexplicably getting unchecked on my single Exchange account. Furthermore, it seems like ActiveSync may or may not work regardless of the setting (sometimes it doesn't work when it's on, and sometimes it works when it's off).
This worked forever on my D1 and it's currently working on my Xoom.
I have added email account on my new Galaxy S5 with Exchange ActiveSync to connect my Exchange 2010 mailbox. It works like a charm, I can get all of my emails, I have selected which subfolders I want to synchronise with push method instead of default manual method.
My problem is that when I recevied a new email which is redirect to a subfolder on my email box, this email is also redirected in this subfolder on my phone. This is not user-friendly at all, because I have to open "View all folders/push '+' button" to see if I have a new email in a subfolder and also to open it.I have looked for a way to see in one place, the Inbox mails and all subfolders that I which to synchronise without success.
Do you know if it's possible to do that on Android ?I can't believe that all Android's people in the world are using my bad method to see emails in subfolders :-).
I see most posts relate to Android, sorry for question on old Omnia II. I just received an Omnia II this week, have worked through most issues. My last issue seems to be a software issue. The Omnia II has a number of widgets installed, one widget is an Exchange/Activesync widget. I get an error everytime I run the widget, it asks me to re-install. I cannot find a web site that will Provide a file to download for the Exchange/Activesync widget. Samsung support will not assist any instructions on reloading/re-installing the cab.
I was wondering is it possible to set up multiple ActiveSync accounts to E7 running Nokia Belle?I'd like to use 2 Google Calendars that are on differents accounts.
I set up a new Exchange ActiveSync e-mail account on my Desire HD, and although I can send e-mails from this account from the phone, I am not receiving any (but they are arriving in Outlook on my desktop). So far, I have:Deleted the account and re-installedChanged the 'mail size limit' setting to maximumTried receiving e-mails with the 'sync when roaming' ticked, and also not tickedSet 'include file attachment' to alwaysNone of these have made the slightest difference. What bothers me is that I can use my phone to send from this account, which must mean the account information must be correct and working.
I installed a couple of new apps this morning: some microsoft stuff that came up in Nokia Suite and the the new Maps Suite from beta labs. Since then my phone has started asking for the Exchange ActiveSync password every few minutes? I use ActiveSync to sync the phones calendar with my google calendar. I set it up when I got the phone last week and it has worked fine, without asking for the password.
Several Motorola smartphones (mainly Razr's) are creating multiple ActiveSync records in Exchange when users provision a corproate email account on their phone. One record will become blocked or quarantined causing the phone not to receive mail. The user is also emailed a notification which is generating support calls.
It doesn't look like the Zylo activesync support the corporate required lock. Is this true? Whenever I try to sync it gives me an error check you settings message with nothing else. Anyone know if this is true and if there are any plans to add this soon?
I am linked to the company Exchange Server. The phone successfully updates when changes are made on my PC, but changes made on my phone are not going back up the line to Exchange. Can anyone help with suggestions on what to investigate. I do not have direct access to Exchange settings and would need to involve IT if suggestions relate to server settings?
Since upgrading to ICS, my phone will not sync with the Exchange Server.I've reformated the SD card & done the SW repair proceedure on the phone.I've deleted the phone profile on the Exchange server - so Exchange can detect and reload the profile anew The mail client doesn't show any email, but rather endlessly reports that it is syncing. The phone contacts do not sync with the server.
After a few days of excellent operation suddenly my E72 won't send e-mails through MfE any more. The emails just sit there in the outbox. Sometimes they get sent after several hours. I hit the send/receive button, it syncs but the emails don't get sent. I tried switching off/on the phone. I tried deleting the account and putting it back in. Sometimes I can send 1 e-mail after restart but then it stops. I receive e-mails with delay sometimes, even though I have sync schedule set to always on. My iPhone syncs with the same account and it works perfect. I tried in 2 different WLAN-nets with different ISP's and I tried over 3G. No difference. My network provider is Telenor Sweden. I have a user who, around the time of the big RIM outage, lost the ability to receive emails from her work email. At the time I just left it alone since I thought it had to do with the outage. However, she still isn't receiving emails. I've tried to troubleshoot this by re-creating her account but I keep getting authentication failures that get delivered to the users mailbox. She contacted her provider and they were no help. I've also tried setting this up on another phone and run into the same issue. As far as the server itself, there hasn't been any changes at all.
I am having some trouble adding a new MS Exchange email account through BIS to my blackberry that already has an enterprise activation (eg BES) to a different Exchange account. When I create the Exchange setup in BIS, the device never receives any email or calendar events from that account. Synchronized items only list "deleted" and nothing else.
This used to work before my corporate mail was migrated from Lotus Notes. Previous setup had BES activation with some kind of Notes conduit and I added the BIS setup for a new exchange account with a different company. This worked fine until corporate mail was moved to Exchange and I had to wipe my device and reactivate with a new BES.
Now the BIS setup just will not work. The account is created fine. I do not get any login errors. It says the account was successfully added. The problem is that the only item listed under "Enabled Synchronization Options" is Deleted items with a green checkmark. No other items are listed like Inbox or Sent.
Plenty of folks have had issues with it and are likely wondering if it is working in the latest iteration. So, those of you that have it, tell us your impression of blur mail.
Since i upgraded on iOS4 my outlook exchange account is activated (as it was in the past) and show on my calendar list but no events are showing up in the calendar itself!
My exchange email worked just find with previous OS, not with both my Iphone and Itouch 3rd Gen Exchange email does not show anything other than folders, i have tried deleting account and re adding and restoring new phone or itouch factory settings with no luck. any idea's?
I have a sick exchange 2007 server. I tried to update it to Sp2 and it didnt work out. I have managed to get my server up and fully functional however, BIS is not working. What seems to have happened is that SP2 disabled all of the exchange realted services on the server. I have everything working, however I suspect a service that isnt running.what services BIS needs running on an exchange server?
I have new N8 with fresh Belle Refresh, no contacts in memory.I have tested Exchange ActiveSync connection with my google account.Everything works, contacts, mails and calendar were synced. Then i tried to turn off contacts sync - contacts from phone memory vanished. Then i deleted google mailbox and created new Exchange with other gmail account - since then contacts are not synchronized, even with sync turned on.I've deleted mailbox again and setup first one, still not contacts synchronized.
We have 5 Blackberry Bold 9700. We purchased these phones so that our engineers and sales guys can access their emails away from the office.Earlier this week our email server was taken offline for maintenance and all the Blackberrys asked us to validate our email accounts. It has asked us to do this before and we simply re-entered the details and away we went. Not this time though. Despite passwords, exchange address, usernames remaining the same we still consistently get the following error message.Invalid email address or password. Verify your email address and password. If the error persists, contact document-options.co.uk I can access my emails via the exchange via the internet using the same details that i am putting into the blackberry so i know that they do work. Just can't get the blackberry to receive my emails.I am not to tech minded but i do have an IT team inhouse that manage the exchange server.I have spoken to vodafone who also tried to setup the email account their end but got the same error message.
I have a problem starting the Exchange ActiveSync on my E-7. I tried many times but it can not synchronise the mails from my Microsoft Outlook, can not send or recieve mails or says " cannot connect to the server ,check connection settings ". I made it working on my N95,it took me less then 5 min,and it works fine but not on E7.
Device: Nokia N8-00 Carrier: Three UKI have been using Mail for Exchange to sync my calendar and contacts between my N8 and by google apps account for several months. It stopped working last week, and I have been unable to fix it. The log just says "sync died (11)" but I have not been able to find out what that means.
Exchange Active Sync is not working for me. It will not sync anything. I can not get or send email. This had worked fine for months. Tried rebooting phone and deleting and adding back account. In the settings did the verify account and it says sucessful. Works for email if I use the "Email Accounts" option and not "Corporate Sync" option but I need my contacts and calander also to work.
