I have an iPhone4S. The company I work for uses microsoft 365. My contacts are constantly duplicating I can't turn off "contacts" and stop them from continuing to sync becuase it will erase all of my contacts on my phone. Is there a way to back up or export my contacts on my phone, turn off syncing contacts and import? Please help! This is so frustrating.
I recently received an iPhone 4S from work, love it! My one disappointment, I can't figure out how to set my Outlook "out of office" from my iPhone. My blackberry had a simple option with in my email settings. Is there a comparable option on the iPhone?
i was able to add exchange without any problem but when i go to the mail it will have error 'cannot get email'. i setup all the activesycn configuration in exchange 2010 and firewall ports. i have no problem connecting from my mac laptop with outlook-mac, it sync fine with calendar/contacts/task.
I am using two different accounts on my Z2. The first one is my GMail account. Everything's perfect avout this. Second is my Exchange account. Here I figured ut that the Z2 des not sync my contacts. I checked all settings for the account and contacts are marked to be synced, but without success.
I have a Sony Xperia Z3 with Android 4.4.4 experiencing a serious Exchange ActiveSync bug with sporadic notification lag for Automatic (push) setting. I have no energy saving features enabled on my phone.
Since Microsoft Exchange is one of most common mail servers in the world this could be a showstopper for a lot of companies?
This is year 2014 and automatic notification for emails is a must otherwise the phone can't be trusted as a working tool? I don't want to login to my phone everytime I need to check if I have a received a new email.  This is being highlighted at official "Android Open Source Project - Issue Tracker" as well.
Issue 73691: Push notifications significantly delayed on stock email app
I have an Xperia Z2 (D6503), Android - Version 4.4.4, Baseband: 8974-AAAAANPZQ-00027-12, Kernel: 3.4.0-perf-gd4d661a BuildUser@BuildHost #1 Fri Sep 19 18:10:07 2014, Build-Number 23.0.1.A.0.167  It's impossible to connect my smartphone to my work’s exchange mail account. I tried it for several days, but without any success. How to get this mail account to work with the stock apps?!
The checkbox for push synching keeps inexplicably getting unchecked on my single Exchange account. Furthermore, it seems like ActiveSync may or may not work regardless of the setting (sometimes it doesn't work when it's on, and sometimes it works when it's off).
This worked forever on my D1 and it's currently working on my Xoom.
I have added email account on my new Galaxy S5 with Exchange ActiveSync to connect my Exchange 2010 mailbox. It works like a charm, I can get all of my emails, I have selected which subfolders I want to synchronise with push method instead of default manual method.
My problem is that when I recevied a new email which is redirect to a subfolder on my email box, this email is also redirected in this subfolder on my phone. This is not user-friendly at all, because I have to open "View all folders/push '+' button" to see if I have a new email in a subfolder and also to open it.I have looked for a way to see in one place, the Inbox mails and all subfolders that I which to synchronise without success.
Do you know if it's possible to do that on Android ?I can't believe that all Android's people in the world are using my bad method to see emails in subfolders :-).
I see most posts relate to Android, sorry for question on old Omnia II. I just received an Omnia II this week, have worked through most issues. My last issue seems to be a software issue. The Omnia II has a number of widgets installed, one widget is an Exchange/Activesync widget. I get an error everytime I run the widget, it asks me to re-install. I cannot find a web site that will Provide a file to download for the Exchange/Activesync widget. Samsung support will not assist any instructions on reloading/re-installing the cab.
I was wondering is it possible to set up multiple ActiveSync accounts to E7 running Nokia Belle?I'd like to use 2 Google Calendars that are on differents accounts.
I set up a new Exchange ActiveSync e-mail account on my Desire HD, and although I can send e-mails from this account from the phone, I am not receiving any (but they are arriving in Outlook on my desktop). So far, I have:Deleted the account and re-installedChanged the 'mail size limit' setting to maximumTried receiving e-mails with the 'sync when roaming' ticked, and also not tickedSet 'include file attachment' to alwaysNone of these have made the slightest difference. What bothers me is that I can use my phone to send from this account, which must mean the account information must be correct and working.
I installed a couple of new apps this morning: some microsoft stuff that came up in Nokia Suite and the the new Maps Suite from beta labs. Since then my phone has started asking for the Exchange ActiveSync password every few minutes? I use ActiveSync to sync the phones calendar with my google calendar. I set it up when I got the phone last week and it has worked fine, without asking for the password.
Several Motorola smartphones (mainly Razr's) are creating multiple ActiveSync records in Exchange when users provision a corproate email account on their phone. One record will become blocked or quarantined causing the phone not to receive mail. The user is also emailed a notification which is generating support calls.
I am trying to set up my company email and keep getting "password incorrect " it's a google.com server address can't see I know the password is correct as I can log in from other devices on this?
after configuring the work e.mail and added as exchange e.mail, it keeps showing " failed to connect to server" other times it says can't verify the account information?
Getting this message when I am trying to set up a hosted exchange on galaxy s5 the maximum number of devices this email address can be registered to has been reached.
Today in the office we set up a microsoft exchange and OWA, nothing to big or fancy but we have a server etc. Now I logged into my BIS site, set up my email entering my own details and putting in our OWA details.. The email works fine, but it takes about 15 minutes for the emails to come through to the blackberry.. i thought that this was only with POP3 and if it ran off an exchange it would be near instant?
Just got a Vivaz and trying to set up the mail to work with exchange. I have defined a mailbox but every time I go back into settings like the prompt says the mail box is not there and I then have to define a new mail box, which then disappears again. I have even read the instruction book and gone through the correct steps.
I am trying to set up my corporate exchange email in my Z3, but i get a message of "you do not have permission to sync with this server....". Â I have no problems setting up exchange email in my Samsung or Ipad using the same credentials. Â My Z3 has android version is 4.4.4.
After setting for Mail for Exchange, my Nokia E7 phone shows low memory. I checked C Memory & there are only important files & that too of small sizes. All major Applications are installed in Mass Memory only. Is "Low Memory" issue due to Mail for Exchange? If so, is it possible to transfer / change the data of Mail Exchange to Mass Memory instead of Phone Memory?
Right now we use Blackberry's at work, but when I get the iPhone 4 I would rather just use that to get my work email if I can. I know my Exchange email address (it's just user@exchange.company.com versus my normal @company.com email address) but I have a couple questions:Does Exchange allow IT depts. to lock down Exchange to approved decives/device IDs?We have to change passwords every month or so, but I never have to do anything on my Blackberry to keep getting email pushed - how does Echange handle that? Would I have to just update my password every time it changes?Just looking for experience from those who have added their work email from and Exchange server to their personal iPhone.
My boss is having trouble syncing his contacts with Exchange ActiveSync. the Exchange group is his default group.I checked it on 20 iphones connected to the server and found out no one else is having problems syncing his contacts from the Exchange Group.I am sure that he is pushing mail and calander but cannot sync contact.Contacts created on the phone under Exchange Group are stays on the phone.Contact created in Outlook stays on the server. Just for the record he hold 3400 contacts on his Exchange Account.
We have 200+ iPhones in our environment, all of which are causing their respected user accounts to lock out after the users change their password. It appears that they unlike their Android counterparts are not syncing their password through ActiveSync like they should. Bug exists from iOS 6
We are currently rolling out ActiveSync at my work, and a question was brought up as to why the iphone and ipad don't support the password recovery option in exchange.
The Root Certificate on my boss's Moto Q is invalid now and wont' update his phone. He has never used a data cable to sync his phone. Is there a way to update activsync on his cell or do I have to do it on his desktop?

Using the same credentials as previously used (before belle) the exchange account refuses to connect.Keep getting "Invalid Exchange ActiveSync credentials. Check credential settings."I am using Nokia C6 and before I upgraded to belle (both with symbian and anna) I was able to sync my calendar and emails. But, after the upgrade I started to get the error.Recently I purchased my N8 for my wife and I thought I should try it out again on the N8 (that does not have the belle upgrade yet). The activesync worked like a breeze. Our company certificates require user to setup the phone lock code active. I was forced to do that on N8 as soon as I setup the activesync. But with belle, if I turn the phone lock off, it doesn't even prompt me for that. Right now I have the two phones setup exactly the same (with the lock code active). The N8 connects and syncs up just fine and C6 does not.
It doesn't look like the Zylo activesync support the corporate required lock. Is this true? Whenever I try to sync it gives me an error check you settings message with nothing else. Anyone know if this is true and if there are any plans to add this soon?
