My boss is having trouble syncing his contacts with Exchange ActiveSync. the Exchange group is his default group.I checked it on 20 iphones connected to the server and found out no one else is having problems syncing his contacts from the Exchange Group.I am sure that he is pushing mail and calander but cannot sync contact.Contacts created on the phone under Exchange Group are stays on the phone.Contact created in Outlook stays on the server. Just for the record he hold 3400 contacts on his Exchange Account.
I am using two different accounts on my Z2. The first one is my GMail account. Everything's perfect avout this. Second is my Exchange account. Here I figured ut that the Z2 des not sync my contacts. I checked all settings for the account and contacts are marked to be synced, but without success.
I have my phone configured to use Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync which retrieves emails, calendar & tasks.I only want the calendar to be retrieved and not the emails.I can't see a way to do this, although my previous HTC Hero on Android 2.1 was able to do this.
Has anyone else setup the XPRT using the "Corporate Sync" account with a mailserver using ActiveSync? We've been trying a number of different phones out to do a company wide phone upgrade and have had numerous issues using the "Corporate Sync" connector within the XPRT. Our mailserver isn't Exchange but is Kerio Connect which has the ActiveSync connection. I've had no problems using the ActiveSync connection with other Android 2.2 and 2.3 phones and tablets along with iPads/iPhones but the XPRT has been troublesome to say the least. The latest problem we're having is I'm able to send a 1mb attachment but not a 2mb attachment from the "Corporate Sync" account. I get "message not sent" in the notification bar. I've tried different file types jpg and pdf and have tried it on two different phones/accounts and have had the same results. If I send the attachments out the Gmail it works fine and if I swap any other brand of Android phone to the same number/e-mail account it works fine. Looking at the Droid Pro and messaging forums this looks to always have been a problem caused by MotoBlur. I've got hours into this and Sprint connected me to Motorola Tier-2 who wants me to talk with Tier-3 which is callback only so I'm waiting.
I wanted to update my software to the latest version so before i did that i made sure i synced/backed up my phone. Then i restored my phone from back up only to find that my contacts have all dissapeared. Why?
All my apps, calender, notes, photos etc have appeared except for my contacts.
I recently received an iPhone 4S from work, love it! My one disappointment, I can't figure out how to set my Outlook "out of office" from my iPhone. My blackberry had a simple option with in my email settings. Is there a comparable option on the iPhone?
I have an IPhone that syncs to my Outlook 2010 via Exchange. The email and calendar syncs automatically. I would like to sync my contacts but currently have that setting turned to "off" because I want to add my Outlook contacts but not lose my contacts on my phone. If I sync the contacts will it just add the new ones and not overwrite the existing contacts on my phone?
When I try to sync my iPhone (via USB), I get: > iiTunes could not sync contacts to the iPhone "xxxx's iPhone" because contacts have been disabled on the iPhone. How do I fix? I have an iPhone 3Gs running iOS 5.1.1, Lion 10.7.4 running iTunes 10.6.3
I'm trying to sync my iPhone contacts with windows contacts using iTunes. I keep getting the message "iTunes could not sync contacts with iPhone because the sync server failed to sync the iPhone." Internet connection is on. They used to sync before and one day they just stopped syncing.
I have an iPhone4S. The company I work for uses microsoft 365. My contacts are constantly duplicating I can't turn off "contacts" and stop them from continuing to sync becuase it will erase all of my contacts on my phone. Is there a way to back up or export my contacts on my phone, turn off syncing contacts and import? Please help! This is so frustrating.

We have 200+ iPhones in our environment, all of which are causing their respected user accounts to lock out after the users change their password. It appears that they unlike their Android counterparts are not syncing their password through ActiveSync like they should. Bug exists from iOS 6
I just bought an iPhone 5c and the dealer manually transferred all of my (gmail) contacts from my Samsung Galaxy. Now the contacts on my iPhone are no longer synced with my gmail account. If I make changes to a contact on my iPhone, that change does not show up on my laptop when I am logged into my gmail account.Â
Can I fix this by turning "on" the "Contacts" button under Settings > mail, contacts, calendars > Gmail > contacts > on?Â
When I attempt this it asks me what I want to do with the existing contacts on my phone. What do I want to do here? If I say leave the contacts on my phone will the contacts merge or will I end up with duplicates?
We are currently rolling out ActiveSync at my work, and a question was brought up as to why the iphone and ipad don't support the password recovery option in exchange.
Trying to Sync via PC patch cable the BB Address Book (Contacts) with MS Outlook Contacts.Set-up failing apparently because wireless data sync with the Bold is turned ON. Can't locate referenced setting on the device to turn OFF.
Right now I have multipule contacts on my atrix that are "linked." Is there anyway to permanently consolidate all the linked contacts into one and export all my contacts as a csv file for outlook and gmail?
I've just upgraded to the Z5. My own number on my contacts list is set at 00 0000000000 and it won't let me edit it to change it! I've worked out how to manually sync contacts profile pics from FB onto my contacts list, but it won't let me do it on my own contact details. (Basically, in text messaging, pics of my contacts are there, but I can't link mine to do the same).
I'm wondering if there is an app that let's me sync my Facebook contacts with the contacts on my phone, I've got an iPod Touch and on that I use MyPhone+ and I sync that to Windows contacts and my phone to Windows contacts but no pics get copied. is there an app there does that?
My apologies if this is discussed somewhere else, I looked, couldnt find it. So does anybody know of an easy way to sync my contacts FROM my blackberry TO my gmail contacts? I have google sync on my phone, but that only messed up my contacts by dumping a bunch of duplicates into my BB contacts and it doesnt seem to reverse sync. I have since deleted my gmail contacts so I dont suffer this fate again, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to reverse sync from BB to gmail.
I have a new phone. AT&T couldn't add my Droid Maxx to their service, so now I have a phone, with contacts from google, but the contacts don't have any phone numbers even though on a computer I can clearly see the phone numbers. Need transferring contacts from google to galaxy s6 contacts. With out phone numbers, and phone isn't really a phone.
I've done everything that I have read online, and everytime I go to the facebook app settings, it already shows that facebook contact is checked to not sync, yet i have about 500 extra contacts and pointless facebook emails in my phone that I don't want--nor do I want to spend 5 hours doing so to delete them.
I am unable to sync my contacts from my Mac (10.7.3) to my iPhone 4S (5.1) through iTunes. I made sure to check off the Contacts sync through iCloud to prevent doubling. These are the steps I took to sync:
I go to itunes, click on my phone's icon, go to info tab, click on sync contacts and all contacts then I click Sync.It says that it is syncing contacts, but when it is done, there are no contacts on my iPhone.
I just had to get my Mac's hard drive wiped at the apple store, and now when I try to put my contacts from my phone into Address Book, it won't sync. All of my contacts seem to be on iCloud, but I can't access them.
I've erased some contacts on my Mac, but when syncing with iPhone, those contacts appear on iPhone. How can I sync only the contacts I really have on my Mac?
When switching contact sync to Yahoo or Google from iCloud, did not see any sync done. When switching contact to a new Outlook account with no contact for testing, can see 88 email addresses sync into Outlook, all without any phone numbers. What went wrong??? How do I get the contacts in iphone out into Outlook, Yahoo or Google so that I can sync those contacts into other phones?
