Today in the office we set up a microsoft exchange and OWA, nothing to big or fancy but we have a server etc. Now I logged into my BIS site, set up my email entering my own details and putting in our OWA details.. The email works fine, but it takes about 15 minutes for the emails to come through to the blackberry.. i thought that this was only with POP3 and if it ran off an exchange it would be near instant?
I have recently purchased a used Bold 9000 and am trying to set up an email account. On the setup screen in the Setup Wizard there is only one option instead of the 2 I'm supposed to have. The only option listed is to set up a work email account with a Blackberry Enterprise Server and I want to set up a personal email account.
I am trying to set up my company email and keep getting "password incorrect " it's a google.com server address can't see I know the password is correct as I can log in from other devices on this?
Just got a Vivaz and trying to set up the mail to work with exchange. I have defined a mailbox but every time I go back into settings like the prompt says the mail box is not there and I then have to define a new mail box, which then disappears again. I have even read the instruction book and gone through the correct steps.

One of our clients recently changed from Android to the new BB Bold 9900, but we can't seem to get any exchange email to work. I believe the problem lies with the setup requiring OWA address, while our OWA is only internal only. With Android, all we had to do is put domain, exchange server and username. Is there hope still? Perhaps a thirdparty app?
I just got a refurbished Bold after dropping my original one too many times...Now whenever I get an email on my Yahoo! account, I also get a text message from some random number with "Mobile EmailOZMAIL ########" in it, and I have no idea why.
I'm using Bold 9900. Last time I can sending and receiving email from my work by using my BB device. Due to security policies I'm no longer able receive email from my work. I have to register my name (as blackberry user) and meet the company policies before able to receive push mail from exchange server.Since my Bold not provided by the company (this is my personal phone) so I don't want to meet the company policies as my office mate using Iphone, Android and Windows phone do not meet the policies at all for their personal phone and no problem with sending and receiving email.
I am trying to configure bold 9700 to receive my work emails. server info: Service: Exchange 2003 Protocols: https (443) Authentication : Certificate & Network logon Currently using owa to access email using this url: https://intranet.company.com. It will require certificate to access the main page of OWA. Once authenticate then use network logon to access mailbox.
We have 5 Blackberry Bold 9700. We purchased these phones so that our engineers and sales guys can access their emails away from the office.Earlier this week our email server was taken offline for maintenance and all the Blackberrys asked us to validate our email accounts. It has asked us to do this before and we simply re-entered the details and away we went. Not this time though. Despite passwords, exchange address, usernames remaining the same we still consistently get the following error message.Invalid email address or password. Verify your email address and password. If the error persists, contact document-options.co.uk I can access my emails via the exchange via the internet using the same details that i am putting into the blackberry so i know that they do work. Just can't get the blackberry to receive my emails.I am not to tech minded but i do have an IT team inhouse that manage the exchange server.I have spoken to vodafone who also tried to setup the email account their end but got the same error message.
I have an exchange server account, the mail is configured both on my outlook & BB. when someone sends me an email, I will receive on the BB again when I open the outlook and view the same email, the same email pops again on my BB. Tired of deleting the duplicate emails.
trying to set up my aol email on my phone. When trying to set it up it takes me to enterprise authentication and does not give me any other options and obviously does not recognise aol details.

setting up my email accounts at a new Bold 9790. Somehow I only get the enterprise account option on the email screen. There is no official BB dealer/service in Greece and my service provider is not to be trusted with help any longer! In the past few years I even have to buy my BBs from abroad. need to use it the email app on the phone ASAP?
I am having trouble setting up my e-mails address on my BB. My email address is already on I'm just having problems to set it up. How can I get into my settings to put my service provider on.
I have 2 email accounts but I predominantly use my Yahoo one. However, if I open my Yahoo emails on the Blackberry and select 'Compose email' it will automatically send my email from my 'Default email' which is my other email address. I can of course change the 'send from...' setting but I often forget which is annoying when the email has already gone. I have tried all ways to change the 'Default email' setting but I can't find out a way of doing this.
It only has enterprise server as an option.how on earth can I set up internet email on this phone?!YES I have set up the blackberry service already, and its been over the 2 hours they said I have to wait.5 phone calls later, T Mobile has not been able to help me whatsoever.
I am currently facing an issue with setting up my E-mail accounts on my Blackberry.
1- Whenever I go to the E-mail setup, it says "Checking For Updates"
2- Directs me to the Browser in order to download the update
3- Once I do the update, my phone just freezes and does not reboot after a long time. And even if it does reboot, the home page does not load I had to reinstall the OS several times and now I can't even set up any E-mail accounts because it just brings me back to the "Update".I need to be able to receive e-mails on my device.

Recently ported my number from AT&T to Sprint for Evo 4G. I never called AT&T ahead of time, or even told them I was canceling. Guy at Best Buy just took care of all of it when he ported number.I wanted to sell my Bold, but a day after I switched, I realized my gmail account is still on my BIS. So when I do a full reset to to sell the phone, my gmail account is still probably linked to it. I tried going into the email setup to remove it, but it says it needs a radio to do so, and I can't do that since my AT&T account is closed. Is my gmail still linked to my BIS even after my AT&T account is closed? Do I need to call them to remove it? I don't fully understand how BIS works so that is why I am asking here.
I have 2 email accounts set up on my bold.. Now just last night i noticed that on one of the emails, if i send an email from this specific account, it doesn't come up with the message i sent with the tick next to it.
In my 2nd account it works fine.I have re-sent the service books etc. I have checked all the options in the email settings and they are all the same.
Hoping someone might be able to help me. I recently received a hand-me-down Bold 9000 from a colleague and I've just connected it with Vodafone. However that's when I discovered one huge problem - it doesn't have an option to set up anything but Enterprise email, and I just have regular pop and internet mail accounts. The wizard only comes up with the "BlackBerry Enterprise Server" option.I've tried registering with the Host Routing Table but that doesn't help matters.I've also installed the Desktop software and tried updating its software to no effect. Anyone have another idea of what I can do to get email on my email-centric smartphone? It's killing me!
New setup with Exchange server at Comcast was finally successful -- i.e., we can synch the BB via USB cable on the computer. It wsa better to have that than nothing. Now that the dust has settled from the switch, how do we make it possible to synch wirelessly? My boss thinks it might have to do w/going somewhere (he's not clear) to change from "synch via computer" to "sync wirelessly".
