New setup with Exchange server at Comcast was finally successful -- i.e., we can synch the BB via USB cable on the computer. It wsa better to have that than nothing. Now that the dust has settled from the switch, how do we make it possible to synch wirelessly? My boss thinks it might have to do w/going somewhere (he's not clear) to change from "synch via computer" to "sync wirelessly".
Today in the office we set up a microsoft exchange and OWA, nothing to big or fancy but we have a server etc. Now I logged into my BIS site, set up my email entering my own details and putting in our OWA details.. The email works fine, but it takes about 15 minutes for the emails to come through to the blackberry.. i thought that this was only with POP3 and if it ran off an exchange it would be near instant?
After a few days of excellent operation suddenly my E72 won't send e-mails through MfE any more. The emails just sit there in the outbox. Sometimes they get sent after several hours. I hit the send/receive button, it syncs but the emails don't get sent. I tried switching off/on the phone. I tried deleting the account and putting it back in. Sometimes I can send 1 e-mail after restart but then it stops. I receive e-mails with delay sometimes, even though I have sync schedule set to always on. My iPhone syncs with the same account and it works perfect. I tried in 2 different WLAN-nets with different ISP's and I tried over 3G. No difference. My network provider is Telenor Sweden. I am linked to the company Exchange Server. The phone successfully updates when changes are made on my PC, but changes made on my phone are not going back up the line to Exchange. Can anyone help with suggestions on what to investigate. I do not have direct access to Exchange settings and would need to involve IT if suggestions relate to server settings?
My S3 had a menu button to the left of the Home key, and one of the choices offered was to sync the calendar. (I have it linked to an Exchange server). In the S6 there is no menu button next to the Home key, and while the calendar has a menu icon, there is no option to sync manually.
The only way to sync is through Options/Accounts/..., i.e. one has to leave the calendar, sync and come back.
What am I missing? How can they just drop this essential option? Even with a sync schedule one often wants to make sure everything is fully up-to-date when using the calendar.
Related question: is the Calendar program from Samsung or is it standard Android? I know Google offers a Calendar app on Play.
I just upgraded to a galaxy S6 but can't seem to get my work calendar to sync to S Planner. My work email is syncing fine to the email app but no calendar appointments are syncing apart from my Google account events.
Short and simple, got the s5 today, I am a current s3 and tab 4 owner. The s5 has 4.4.4 loaded but I can't seem to get the active sync account created. I can add them all day long on the S3 and Tab 4 which both have 4.4.2 on them. I've read that 4.4.4 has some issues?
In Outlook 2010 I have: 1. Contacts from MS Exchange, 2. Suggested Contacts, 3. Conctats (iCloud Archive) and in another category I have Cloud Contacts.

My company forces me to use a BB to access the server. I hate the BB and do not want to carry two devices. Is there a workaround for me to be able to access contacts, calendar, emails in outlook without my IT dept's help?
