Since i upgraded on iOS4 my outlook exchange account is activated (as it was in the past) and show on my calendar list but no events are showing up in the calendar itself!
My exchange email worked just find with previous OS, not with both my Iphone and Itouch 3rd Gen Exchange email does not show anything other than folders, i have tried deleting account and re adding and restoring new phone or itouch factory settings with no luck.
any idea's?
If an outside user sends me a calendar invite from their Iphone (my wife), it only adds event to my iphone, won't sync back to my exchange server, and ultimately my PC.
There are two different calendars in my phone, and would make life much easier if all events would sync within one calendar, and ultimately back to my exchange server.

Anyone else notice the calendar colors on iOS4.2 changed to the muted colors that display your iphone contents on iTunes 10?

The problem is, calendar events entered on my Galaxy S5 do not synchronize to my Microsoft Exchange calendar.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone 5s has been upgraded to iOS 7.1.2 recently. I used to synchronize my exchange account at work to my personal iPhone for email pushing and calendar. It was very convenient for having meeting alarm on my phone as well.Â
Nevertheless, I noted that the synchronzation of calendar is unsatisfactory recently. Namely, the recent meeting calendars are synced while some older calendar on my exchange account is missing on my phone. Precisely, the synchronization is not completed. Strangely, some meetings are synchronized, but some won't for a same day. Â
I feel unsecure as I may miss some important meetings because of that. I have tried to remove the exhcnage account and add again, but no luck.

Here is what I want to do. I want to sync my contacts and calender with my gmail account. Then I also want to check my work email (exchange server).
The problem, it appears you can only do one microsoft exchange account at a time? Which I currently have set as Google contacts/calender.
Any solutions on how else I can check my work email?
Yes, nothing basically happens with it. It jams or gives me error message:
"Error. Unable to set status, out of coverage".
Tried both 3G and Wi-Fi net networks.
Updated fine but won't refresh email. Have to restart the phone to get new emails to load. Restore does not fix it. I don't do fetch, is that the issue? I just manually check as needed.
I have AT&T and my data has not been working since I upgraded to iOS 4 yesterday. MMS, Internet, etc doesn't work. I have called AT&T and they don't know why and can't offer any solution. Anyone else having this problem?
I have tried restoring my phone, resetting the network settings, and AT&T tried unregistering and re-registering my phone but still no data.
I also had this problem since I upgraded my 3GS on Thursday. I did a full restore from a backup, and my internet still wasn't working. Like others, my WiFi was working though. From information I gleaned, it's either corrupt APN settings, or I think in my case (I checked and my APN settings were blank), that updating it just deleted them altogether.
On your phone tap Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data Network.
If it's all blank like mine, you need to find out your carriers APN settings and input them. Restart the phone, and it should work.

View 10 Replies View RelatedAfter receiving my new iPhone4, the caller ID has not worked via blue-tooth in my car. The readout just shows "incoming call". Sometimes there is just a huge alphanumeric number where the caller name should be.
I have seen a few people mention it on some car forums but was wondering how wide spread it is. I have a Dodge truck with Uconnect and I have seen people with BMW's and Mercedes complaining too.
I installed mobile terminal on my 3GS and my brother's IP4 and when I go to launch it it closes on start.
Can anybody tell me a fix for this?
I am not sure this is the right place to ask on GM iOS4, I would like to upgrade Gold Master iOS4 to mine 3GS right now and when it released the official firmware for public on 21st June, would I have any problem to upgrade from GM version?
View 7 Replies View RelatedWas just wondering what the best way to upgrade from the iOS4 GM to the official iOS4 release. Would I be better off doing a backup of my iOS4, restoring my iPhone to iPhone OS 3 and then going back to the official iOS4 or do you think we will be able to straight from the GM to the official version of iOS 4. Or is the iOS4 GM identical to the official iOS 4 release?
View 14 Replies View RelatedWe just upgraded to IOS 5.1 on our 3gs/4/4s iphones in our organization. When we receive an appointment notification and accept it via our PC's Outlook program, there are no issues. However if we accept it via our iPhones it changes the time of the appointment by one hour ahead. (original time 6-7am, after accepting appointment new time is 7-8am)I went online and found some recommendations of turning off Time Zone Support, but it does not help. I have completely removed all 'Exchange' email settings and reconfigured it back in. no dice!

It seems that the entire calendar of my brand new iphone 4 (i.e empty calendar) has replaced my previous MS Exchange calendar. There are no items in the deleted box items. Any other way I can retrieve my previous calendar?

I use my Outlook calendar on Microsoft Exchange for all of my personal and business things. I can add an event in Outlook and it syncs with my iPhone. However, any updates I make to any event never sync. (Example: Any deletions or time changes never show up)

I set up the VPN and synch the calendar with our company's Exchange server. I have no information about the Exchange server, and no way to make or suggest any changes to it. In short, the company has blackberries tied to the server, and doesn't want to support employees using iphones to get email and calendar info.
Even so, the sync was working; I checked that it synced in both directions - appointments entered in exchange came to my phone, and appointments entered on my phone got added to the Exchange calendar. I set the calendar to have yellow dots next to the appointments to tell them from my personal appointments. Then today I turned on the VPN, opened the calendar, and all my new appointments I had entered on my phone throughout the day were deleted. Appointments that show up are now marked blue, and all my yellow appointments are gone.
Since I don't use iCloud and hadn't plugged into iTunes, I'm assuming those appointments are irretrieveably lost Did the admin change the Exchange server or did I somehow mess up by assigning a color to the calendar other than the default?

I upgraded my 3G to iOS 4 and jailbroke it the other day. Everything works fine except data — whenever I try using the internet over 3G, nothing happens. Every app I try is unable to connect to the web. Calls and SMS still work fine.Is there a way to either
a) revert to 3.1.2, or
b) get data working on iOS 4?
We just switched to MS Exchange Online and when we create a calendar meeting or appt in MS Outlook it shows up on the iphones and ipads as a day later, also shows up as an all-day event. We have 5 iPhones 4 and 4s in the office on both AT&T and Verizon and all have the same issues.

My Exchange is currently set up to sync with my work email, with a secondary Exchange for my gmail emails. I have a new job now and no longer have access to the original main Exchange account, so need to delete this. However given that I have been using this Calendar for personal appointments / events I don't want to lose all this info. How do I either backup my current Exchange calendar to iCloud, or to some other format that I can then re-import under a new Exchange account?

So new to the whole jailbreaking thing here but it appears to me that all the apps that I see that are good do not work: Notified- Random Crahses, Badges not working correctly
Reminder - Does nothing at all
Where do you go to find out if apps are compatible and working? I have wasted a ton of time today messing around today with these and getting no results.
Will iTunes know that the official release is newer than the gold master release? I assume its not out yet as iTunes keeps saying "4.0 is the latest release" So what will happen when its out?
View 17 Replies View RelatedI have iphone with 5.1 and latest version of itunes and use a gmail account. I was using gmail directly to sync mail and calendar but this didn't (or at least I could find a way to) sync my gmail contacts to my phone contacts so i decided to use Exchange. I deleted my gmail account from my phone and added the Exchange account, following all the instructions on many websites like this one [url]. I selected 'ON' for mail, contacts and calendars. When I refresh contacts and calendar on iphone nothing happens. When I go in mail and refresh that it comes up with 'Cannot Get Mail. The connection to the server failed.'. I deleted the account and reset up in case i messed anything up but it's still not working.
