Sep 15, 2011Recently I have been unable to sync my Blackberry calendar with my Outlook 2010 calendar. I am getting a message "calendar not installed" when I synch my organizer files. My other organizer files synch okay. I am able to make calendar entries on my device and on Outlook but unable to synch calendars. I tried everything I could think of.

Sep 9, 2010I have six email accounts and want to know if it is possible to move calendar entries to my default calendar from the other five. Well, I like my calendar to appear on my today screen but not just the default calendar entries, I want to truly capture my day on the today screen. With my limited BB knowledge I think this may be the easiest way to achieve what I am loooking for. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Dec 3, 2012The calendar is not syncing wireless with outlook 2010 calendar, I followed the instructions manual, but the option menu in calendar does not show any wireless sync option (tickmark)!
the only options are showing only the following:
- Calendar Display
- Conference calling
- Date & Time
- Accounts:
*email account1
*email account2
*email account3
#Appointment color
#display reminder
#number of entries
the email account is already defined as the default account for calendar (CICAL)!! My colleauge have 9790 using the same server, and the same setting, and the calendar is sync properly through wireless. I tried sync throug bb Desktop Manager, it worked. I dont have BES, so I set up my Microsoft Exchange email as internet based account. the emails are being sync properly between handheld and the server.
BB Bold :: It Goes Blank After Charging
Jul 26, 2012So I was charging my battery the other night and when it was charged I put it in the phone. When I did this the phone just had a black screen and flashed red three times I thought it was the battery so I ordered a new one and it still didn't work. Is there anyway of fixing this and what is wrong with it?

Apr 4, 2010So i came off my phone 1am & everything was cool, during the night i noticed it seemed to be booting up as if it had been battery pulled. When i got up it was still doing this but the progress bar gets a quarter of the way then the screen goes blank & it starts again. It has now been about 8 hours & its STILL doing this. Jul 16, 2011I'm using a Blackberry Bold 9000 from work, so I have no ability to install applications and no access to a web or PC interface. The device is connected via AT&T. I set up my personal Gmail account as a second inbox in addition to my work inbox, with only the work email showing in the main inbox. It was working fine until yesterday. I deleted two Gmail messages at once but the Gmail inbox appeared to hang on the message indicating it was deleting the second message. I was able to get out of the Gmail inbox to get to other applications, but the deleting message persisted when I went back into Gmail. I resorted to a battery pull to try to stop the process. When i booted back up, I still had both inbox icons. Opening the Gmail inbox shows an empty message list, but if I search that inbox leaving the search fields blank, it shows all of my messages in the search results. I cannot get the messages to appear without searching for them or setting them to show in my main indox, which I don't want to do.
I have tried repeated battery pulls, soft reset, deleting and recreating the Gmail account on the BB, deleting and resending the service books, and tweaking the synchronization settings for the Gmail account (calendar and contacts), all without success. What else can I try to make my message list appear?

Apr 10, 2011A couple of days ago my phone started showing a blank white screen at non-specific intervals. The problem has become worse and I can't seem to view my screen properly. The phone itself is working fine (I am still receiving calls, texts and emails) but the screen won't show anything.I have repeatedly tried to reboot it by removing the battery but that hasn't fixed the issue.

Aug 10, 2011I was recently received a brand new Bold 9700 from an aunt in Canada and I had only been using it in the UK for 3 weeks when the screen suddenly went completely white.I can still receive calls, and I can hear bbms and emails arriving but I can't see anything at all. I've have tried the battery pull many times but it still remains the same. I've been told that RIM usually offers a year's warranty on new products but because it was bought in Canada, none of the networks here in the UK are willing to take it in for repair.

Sometimes when i restart my device, it won't display the blackberry logo and the progress bar, i just get the blank lit up screen. and after 5 - 10 minutes or so, i use random buttons on the keypad to get the display back, but nothing works. i just see blank screen and lit up keypad. Jan 6, 2010I recently upgraded to a bold through Orange (UK Network Provider), phone has been great so far, I have had it for a week. However, I made a call and came back to my phone to find a blank screen and the red light flashing/staying constant intermittently. The phone does not turn on, I have tried taking battery out, sim out, memory card out, attaching it to my computer (which it does not recognize as it needs to be on) charging it etc. I have tried that alt, cap and del reset mechanism too.
Orange told me I will have to send it off this week, but does anyone know any quick fix to turn it on? I have all my contacts on there, stupidly I did not back it up.

Aug 9, 2010I have a bell blackberry bold 9700 unlocked. My provider is with rogers and I have purchased this phone about 5 months ago. About 2 - 3 times a day my bb 9700 screen will blank out and go completely white. I would have to do a battery pull and then my bb will restart and everything will be fine. I have wiped my phone, downgrade the software and upgrade it again. Still nothing is resolved with it blanking out 2 - 3 times a day.

Apr 4, 2010I've just gotten a Bold 9700 and noticed that even though I have the option to sync the profile pictures of my friends with my contacts profiles on the phone, the pictures for my phone contacts remain blank. The Facebook profiles are linked to my contacts and sometimes will show the Facebook profile picture but after a while the picture reverts to a blank icon again. I've also unselected the option to sync and re-enabled the option to update Blackberry contacts with my Facebook contacts to try and force the pictures to update but no success.
I was thinking that it might also be because of a conflict wiyth other apps trying to update the contact pictures seeing as I originally imported all my contatcs from my Gmail account but I am unable to figure out which other apps, if any, are updating contact pics and thereby turn them off.
Blackberry contacts linked to a LinkedIn profile show their LinkedIn profile pics correctly though and other than that I only have BB Messenger, GTalk, Windows Live Messenger and Facebook that are linked to my Blackberry contacts.Any ideas on how I can get my contacts' pictures to sync correctly with Facebook?

Nov 9, 2011I have recently upgraded the OS of a bunch of bb's that came in with 5.0 and wanted my users to have 6.0. After the upgrade they were activated on an Enterprise Exchange server and for some of those, when you are in Email/Messages and hit your menu key to change Email Preferences/Display/etc it is blank.
BB's are the BOLD 9650's
