I have recently upgraded the OS of a bunch of bb's that came in with 5.0 and wanted my users to have 6.0. After the upgrade they were activated on an Enterprise Exchange server and for some of those, when you are in Email/Messages and hit your menu key to change Email Preferences/Display/etc it is blank.
BB's are the BOLD 9650's
I used the Email Settings to delete two email addresses I used to use from my Blackberry.The folders are now gone and the email addresses do not show up under Email Settings any longer.HOWEVER, when I go to my messages folder under Options then Inbox Settings,I still see those email addresses just with the Check Box checked off from them under Email Accounts.Is there a way to delete these from this list?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm using a Blackberry Bold 9000 from work, so I have no ability to install applications and no access to a web or PC interface. The device is connected via AT&T. I set up my personal Gmail account as a second inbox in addition to my work inbox, with only the work email showing in the main inbox. It was working fine until yesterday. I deleted two Gmail messages at once but the Gmail inbox appeared to hang on the message indicating it was deleting the second message. I was able to get out of the Gmail inbox to get to other applications, but the deleting message persisted when I went back into Gmail. I resorted to a battery pull to try to stop the process. When i booted back up, I still had both inbox icons. Opening the Gmail inbox shows an empty message list, but if I search that inbox leaving the search fields blank, it shows all of my messages in the search results. I cannot get the messages to appear without searching for them or setting them to show in my main indox, which I don't want to do.
I have tried repeated battery pulls, soft reset, deleting and recreating the Gmail account on the BB, deleting and resending the service books, and tweaking the synchronization settings for the Gmail account (calendar and contacts), all without success. What else can I try to make my message list appear?
I went to set up my email for the first time I selected the enterprise server option by mistake. Now when I go back to email setup that is the only option that I have available for setting up email on my BB Bold 9700. Is there a fix that will allow me to get my hotmail and yahoo email accounts set up on my BB without having to take it to a service provider? I just updated my software on my phone today and that did not fix my problem.

I wonder whether this is a coincidence: I just activated access to my gmail box on my BB Torch, in addition to the enterprise email that's be working on the device all along. While I can send/receive from either box, I just discovered that when I hit the Menu key in either box and scroll down to Options, and try to click on it, I get nothing. I seem to remember that I used to define several email preferences using this function.

I have tried resending IT policy from BES server 4.1.7 where BB device is setup for exchange 2003 email. Also tried siwtching off the device, taking out the battery for a minute, reinserting and turning it ON again. Still no luck with that Options what i am looking for.

when I am in the email (Messages) folder and open up the menu the "Options" selection is available but when selected nothing happens. As of now, I do not have any problems with those but I just can't find the option to set up my internet email. Whenever i go to the set up email option, it automatically shows me an enterprise email activation.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI recently got my Blackberry Bold 9700 and I used to use crunchsms on my Blackberry Curve 8520 so I didn't mind the message indicator whenever I got an email because crunchsms had it's own message indicator. I now realize that whenever I receive a text and email it results to the same message indicator. I have done: Messages > Options > Inbox Settings and have unclicked my email account so that the message inbox remain separate. I don't understand how I have the latest OS version yet have to deal with this. Is there someone who can help? Or is there a theme that I can download that separates the sms/mms and email complete so that I may get two entire different message notifications?

View 3 Replies View RelatedFrom this morning, i obtain a blank screen when i try to create or read a text message on my Nokia 3110c. The blank screen disappear itself after 10 sec, back to home page.Seems that also some issues appears at the same time: Music player cannot read the library, error message at boot saying "Theme cannot be loaded".
I updated the software without success. Suppressed all messages or music, checked the free memory, nothing help.
The preview shows the first few lines of the message but when I open the message the body is blank. It does show the sender, receivers and subject line, but the body is blank.

i have tried reformating the card which didnt seam to work so i formated it useing my old samsung diva but still the xperia shows the error message. My software is up to date firmware version 2.1 update 1. i even tried a brand new sd card but that came up with the same message as well. the sd card setting is as follows for both the new sd card and old one.

WWhen I receive messages sometime it shows on the front of phone but when I open the message it is blank. Other times I'm not getting text messages at all. Also sometimes my Facebook and email will open up and then just close after a second or two. I have an iPhone 4s. I have tried the turning it off and back on several times. I have also reset phone to factory settings. This has been going on for 3-4 days now.

Is there a way to clear the email notifier? It shows I have 1 email all the time even when all messages have been checked. I checked text and both email accounts and it always shows 1 email on the upper bar. Is there some way to reset it? It will still show more when I get other emails but if I get 2 it shows 3.
