Other than specifically asking folks to leave me out of a group message, is there any other way to withdraw from a monster group text thread?
Some annoying family starting MONSTER NFL threads every damned Sunday and I know zero people in the thread and would like to take control of my inbox again.

BB Bold :: 9900 - Sending Group Text (Only 8 Out Of 18 Receive Message)
May 8, 2012I have a Bold 9900. Under "contacts" I have created a distribution list, mainly my baseball team so if a game is cancelled, I would like to address them all in one swoop. The problem is, only 8 out of 18 receive a text. I go to the "text message" icon, press the blackberry button on "compose text message". When it asks "To:" I select from my contact list, my baseball team.
Some of the entries on my list have an email address only while others have both. What do I have to do to successfully reach everyone on the list? Would it work better if it were only email or mobile addresses? Does it matter whether they are MTS or Rogers customers for their cell phones? Do I require to add 1+then the area code for the cell phone numbers?

May 25, 2012Love my new Lumia 900. One odd issue I can't solve and AT&T can't solve. They referred me to Nokia. When I check a voice mail and delete it, I get a blank text message from 1-(000)-000-0000. I get one for every deleted voice mail. AT&T says there is no setting for this.

When I receive a multimedia group text, the texts only show the originators number and not the other Group numbers.
This phone is a SAMSUNG GALAXY 6, using Android 5.0.2
Other suggested truning on Group Conversation or Group Messaging in the settings , but that option does not appear.
The instructions I received are below , but like I said, it did not show up on the settings.Is there a difference in the Android versions that would cause the menu to be different or the setting to located somewhere else?

3.) tap MORE AT TOP RIGHT OF SCREEN
4.) SELECT Settings
5.) SELECT MORE SETTINGS

Sep 11, 2014Having problems with replying and/or sending group texts with the people you send to getting blank messages? I have Verizon for HTC One and people with iPhones from same and different carriers will get my responses in a group message but anyone I know who owns any phone that is Android or Windows only gets blanks from me.
Is there anything that can do about it on my end or is this an Android, carrier and/or HTC problem?

Aug 5, 2014Been pretty happy with the ICON. Noticed a problem with sending group messages to Sprint Android users from Verizon ICON. They are getting a blank group message. Tried an Android on ATT and it worked. My friend tried it from is WP on Verizon and he gets the same results. Tried to talk to VZW and "We'll look into this" and now its marked as resolved but the same issue exists.

Aug 18, 2010The bar on the top of the screen between the "select a profile" and the "search magnifying glass" where the notifications pop up not sure what that page is called but in this slide down screen under Text Messages I have a text message that is staying at unread. Even though I have deleted the text message and I've tried everything to try and get it to go away. Today I have a Blackberry Messenger Message that won't delete as well. Feb 20, 2015I just switched to the LG G3 from the iPhone 5, so did my husband. We regularly group message 2 iPhone users, so when we tried to start a new conversation, my husband can see all the messages but I can not. Sometimes I'll get a new text from "Anonymous" saying "message not found" and it seems like it happens when my husband messages the group. Why is it functioning properly for his phone, but not mine? This morning I got the same message from Anonymous and my husband did not text the group, so now I'm obviously missing out on messages!! This is so frustrating! I have iMessages turned off on my old iPhone, the iPhone users have group text and SMS turned on on their phones, they've reentered our contacts, we're using the stock messaging app on the LG. I don't know what to do. And it's totally inconvenient to ask all my iPhone using friends to text through WhatsApp or any other app.

May 17, 2015I recently bought an M9 and have been loving most of the features. I've used a WindowsPhone for the past ~3 years and wanted something different. For years now, I've been a part of a group text with a few friends. There were no issues with it on my old phone, but I'm running into some issues with the M9.
For example: When I open the group text, there's a bubble that says "Converting to MMS message" every time. This happens even if I just backed out of the message and re-entered it.
Every time I send a message, a loading icon pops up in the middle of the screen. After the loading icon goes away, the message that I sent has another icon inside of it that stays there for a few seconds. Eventually, that icon goes away too. Some of the messages that are sent to me by my friends come through as individual texts with a download link. If I follow the download link, it appears in the group text.
Scrolling through the group message is extremely choppy. Everything else on this phone has been smooth, this is the only thing I've noticed that doesn't load well
