I have an Xperia X10 Mini, and for the first time ever of using a mobile I want to set up a contact group for all the parents of my kids' football team so I can send out a single message to multiple contacts in one easy go. However, I cannot seem to find a way to do this with an X10. On my old Nokia, it was really easy, but having come into the modern world and finally upgraded to a smartphone, I would have thought this would have been a no-brainer!
I just switched back to Android after 4 years with iPhones, so to say that I'm a bit "rusty" might be an understatement.
Is there a way to send group messages on the Moto X 2014? I tried sending an SMS to 2 people (that both have iPhones) and it sent as 2 independent messages. I want them to be in the same thread so that I don't have to "copy/paste" from one thread to another...I would prefer it to go out as an SMS rather than data, if that makes sense. Basically, I want the functionality of the iPhone group messaging to work on my Moto X.
I got my Nokia Lumi1 1020 about 2 weeks ago. I''m switching from iPhone 4. Whenever I try to text my family (they all have iPhones) I get a can't send message response. This keeps happening over and over.
When using the gmail on the Xoom, I can find my groups, however I am unable to select a whole group to send an email to, it appears I have to do individual names which to me defeats the purpose of a group?
"Message Send Failure" every time I send pictures on message? This is also happening on my husband's phone.¬ I have the 5C and he has the 5S.¬ This all started about 4-5 weeks ago.¬ The picture do however go through.
I am trying to send a group message on my Mail app on all devices , iMac and ipone, I have created a group on contacts but it only gives me the names and then I would have to choose each email.¬ I would like to send an email to the same group of emails, maybe just by tapoping the group name on my Mail app, Is this possible?¬
I recently got an iPhone because I needed to be able to group text with my boss and coworkers. However, upon getting a brand new iPhone 4s (Verizon) I discovered that my phone still does not send or receive group texts. I have turned on group messaging so I should be receiving them. Is it something I can fix?
I Have a iphone 5, just did the update, now my texts dont show up in the group message. Checked the details everything looks good, reset the network setting and turned off the phone, which did nothing.
I just replaced my droid based phone with an iphone 5s.¬ I have MMS turned off to save the amount of data we are using.¬ But now I cannot send or receive group text messages.¬ This is a major issue for me since my kids' sports coaches use this to give us updates...etc.¬
Is there a setting I am missing?¬ I am almost wishing I had stayed with my old phone.
Is there a way to send SMS text in the iPhone, would buy an app that does this, to a group without disclosing the recipients? Would like to be able to setup a group but not have every person see the complete list of recipients of the text. That way the replies would only come back to me.
I just switched to the LG G3 from the iPhone 5, so did my husband. We regularly group message 2 iPhone users, so when we tried to start a new conversation, my husband can see all the messages but I can not. Sometimes I'll get a new text from "Anonymous" saying "message not found" and it seems like it happens when my husband messages the group. Why is it functioning properly for his phone, but not mine? This morning I got the same message from Anonymous and my husband did not text the group, so now I'm obviously missing out on messages!! This is so frustrating! I have iMessages turned off on my old iPhone, the iPhone users have group text and SMS turned on on their phones, they've reentered our contacts, we're using the stock messaging app on the LG. I don't know what to do. And it's totally inconvenient to ask all my iPhone using friends to text through WhatsApp or any other app.
I don't have the option of group message under "message". Doesn't said on the guide that it matters on different countries. Does it matters in where the phone was bought or the carrier? My iPhone was bought in Hong Kong is this why I don't have it? What should I do then?
