Updated fine but won't refresh email. Have to restart the phone to get new emails to load. Restore does not fix it. I don't do fetch, is that the issue? I just manually check as needed.
My exchange email worked just find with previous OS, not with both my Iphone and Itouch 3rd Gen Exchange email does not show anything other than folders, i have tried deleting account and re adding and restoring new phone or itouch factory settings with no luck.
any idea's?
I am running iOS4 on a 3GS. I noticed a strange issue after updating to iOS4. I have three mail accounts: gmail, hotmail, and exchange. When I tap the mail icon from the home screen, it takes me straight into my gmail inbox instead of taking me to the mailboxes page (where the unified inboxes are as well as the separate accounts). I have to tap on my gmail address on the top left hand side to get back to the mailboxes page (the one it was supposed to take me to first).

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm gonna try to be clear with my problem. I have a Gmail Account working on Microsoft Exchange, for IM messaging I'm using Beejive IM with Push and I'm also using Whatsapp. Before Updating it to iOS 5.1.1 all Push notifications were working flawless, however, after I upgraded it to 5.1.1, I began having troubles. After 1 minute of having the Iphone locked, I don't get any push notification, nor on the email, nor on the Whatsapp, neither on the Beejive. If I unlock it and I re-open one of them, for ex, I go to check my contact list on Beejive, I get all the mails, and all the instant msgs that people had sent to me after I locked my iPhone; it's like, my iPhone was locked for 30 minutes. In those 30 minutes people sent me 4 msgs on whatsapp, 4 msgs on beejive and 4 mails. Once I unlock my iPhone and I go to one of the 3 apps (mail, whatsapp or beejive), I get the 12 items (4 msg from whatsapp, 4 msgs from beejive and 4 mails) at that exactly time. It's crazy, it's like, with this new update push notifications got disabled for every app or what happened to my iPhone on this upgrade? I really need help. WIthout Push, none of them apps works cool for me. I'm using Iphone 4 on a 3G network. I tried restoring it x3, I unistalled the apps, mail, etc and nothing worked.

Tried both 3G and Wi-Fi net networks.
I have AT&T and my data has not been working since I upgraded to iOS 4 yesterday. MMS, Internet, etc doesn't work. I have called AT&T and they don't know why and can't offer any solution. Anyone else having this problem?
I have tried restoring my phone, resetting the network settings, and AT&T tried unregistering and re-registering my phone but still no data.
I also had this problem since I upgraded my 3GS on Thursday. I did a full restore from a backup, and my internet still wasn't working. Like others, my WiFi was working though. From information I gleaned, it's either corrupt APN settings, or I think in my case (I checked and my APN settings were blank), that updating it just deleted them altogether.
On your phone tap Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data Network.
If it's all blank like mine, you need to find out your carriers APN settings and input them. Restart the phone, and it should work.
ive just jailbroke my iphone 3gs on ios4 using the snowbreeze 1.6 all is good only my push notifications have stopped working on whatsapp and ping2 ive done the push fix through cydia which fixed my you tube not working and ive followed other guides to try and fix but no joy as of yet anyone else have a fix or idea how to fix.

Since i upgraded on iOS4 my outlook exchange account is activated (as it was in the past) and show on my calendar list but no events are showing up in the calendar itself!
I forget what happens when we update to new firmware on an existing phone: Does it delete the music/video content from the iPhone? Or is there a way to preserve this content when I load the new iOS4 later today on my 3GS? I know you can preserve photos, text message threads, apps, etc. My iPhone 3GS is backed up.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhile some of this is probably because of it being new software and not every app has been updated for it, but certain apps have been crashing on launch, or with in moments of using it. And using some games have made the game it self very laggy, where as it was fine on 3.0 examples being sonic, and madden 2010. Many of the other tasks on the phone seem quite snappy though.I do have the GM version, but the build is apparently the same.

But even the same camera roll photos that show up in the Photo Library are overly compressed or blurry.The were fine before iOS4 and this is on my 3GS.

Is there another IPCC for at&t that will work on iOS4 and allow me to input my own cellular data network settings? Something to like the pictures I've posted.
View 15 Replies View RelatedHave noticed recently that my Mail is not pushing properly. I just opened my email and I newly received 2 emails from 8:50 over two hours ago. I have been using the phone off and on during this time, in fact about 10 mins in the App store for 10 mins prior surfing around.
Have it setup to my yahoo account, but it only refreshes when I actively open my mail. What am I missing here?
