IPhone :: Accepting Exchange Calendar Appointment With It And IPad?
Mar 27, 2012
We just upgraded to IOS 5.1 on our 3gs/4/4s iphones in our organization. When we receive an appointment notification and accept it via our PC's Outlook program, there are no issues. However if we accept it via our iPhones it changes the time of the appointment by one hour ahead. (original time 6-7am, after accepting appointment new time is 7-8am)I went online and found some recommendations of turning off Time Zone Support, but it does not help. I have completely removed all 'Exchange' email settings and reconfigured it back in. no dice!
I wanted to share my Home iCloud calendar on my iPhone with my wife so we could both add our respective events and see when the other person is busy. So far, all well. I logged on to the iCloud web site and shared my calendar with my wife.
She then accepted the shared calendar, but then her own Home calendar was replaced with mine, and she can no longer find hers anywhere. It's not on iCloud when she logs on to the web site, and there is no trace of it on her iPhone. And is there a chance we can get her calendar back? There were a lot of events on her calendar.
When adding an appointment to my calendar how do I add an invitee like on iCal? The invite could be from my contact list or just simply adding an email address.
I would like to share my calendar with my assistant, but need to keep some private appointments private!. Is there a way to set an appointment on my calendar as private and make my assistant see that time as blocked on her calendar?
I know I can share the calendar with her calendar by giving her permission. we are both using iphone 5s and ipad.
On my iPhone I have, in my calendar, an appointment set everyday for the tablet I have to take at 8PM everyday.
But when I go to another time zone, like Paris where they are 1 hour ahead of me here in the UK, the appointment is still at 8PM, even though I know it should be at 9PM.
Since updating to latest software I have been Unable to make a repeat appointment in my iphone calendar for the 2nd Tuesday of each month. It will only let me make a repeat by the date of the month.
The calendar on my nexus 5 isn't showing any input. It's on all other devices and was on my phone, but has now disappeared on my phone. I think it may have happened when I input the last appointment, because I don't find that appointment on other devices.
Using Bold 9700 Ver # 6.0.0.461 Running updated version of Blackberry Desktop Manager 6.0.1 with Windows 7 and Outlook 2003 with SP3. Use agenda view for calendar, tried the "Show free time in Agenda View" but didn't like it so unclicked it and now, when I open my calendar; the current appts show for a couple of seconds, then it jumps to my last appts in 2014. If I check the free time box again and try to open my calendar it doesn't jump ahead. If I uncheck it again, it jumps ahead again. I've tried turning it off and taking the battery out but doesn't work. The local Telus store never heard of it before.
While my phone is locked, I say Hey Moto X, remind me, or make a calendar appointment, but it always wants me to unlock the phone before it will save it. From what I understand Google smart lock only works if the screen is already on or it is charging... Unlike moto which is always listening. So that's not really an option.
I have just purchased the new blackberry but when i add a new appointment to my calendar and want to invite someone, I can't figure out how to add that contact.
If an outside user sends me a calendar invite from their Iphone (my wife), it only adds event to my iphone, won't sync back to my exchange server, and ultimately my PC.
There are two different calendars in my phone, and would make life much easier if all events would sync within one calendar, and ultimately back to my exchange server.
I log in calendar appointments and they automatically move forward one hour no matter what I do. Even when I forward on a diary entry it goes to that person one hour later.
1. Recurring appointment in calender is without sound notification. Only the first event had sound.
2. When I select picture from camera roll, auto-fix it and save, it doesn´t show up in saved pictures folder. This worked great couple of months or weeks ago, not anymore.
After the 2.3.4 update, the calendar will show the incorrect organizer name for appointments that I have created. This only occurs when there is more than 1 Google account setup on the device.
example: The main account on my device is Joe@gmail.com, the secondary account is Bob@gmail.com. I create an appointment on the Joe@gmail.com calendar. On the Atrix Calendar it will show the appointment organizer as Bob@gmail.com.
If I click "show attendee details", the information is correct.
I am new to apple products and have purchase an iPhone and an iPad. I have figured out how to work with my iPad calendar but don't know how to sync it to my iPhone,
I've read that you should accept corporate sync invites in your calendar view. However, when I hold down a tentative request the only options that appear are view event, delete event, or new event. Please help. I need to accept events from my calendar.
My Galaxy S5 is set up to synchronize with my Microsoft exchange server. Emails synchronize perfectly and calendar events entered on my Microsoft exchange account synchronize with my Galaxy S5. The problem is, calendar events entered on my Galaxy S5 do not synchronize to my Microsoft Exchange calendar.
My iPhone 5s has been upgraded to iOS 7.1.2 recently. I used to synchronize my exchange account at work to my personal iPhone for email pushing and calendar. It was very convenient for having meeting alarm on my phone as well.Â
Nevertheless, I noted that the synchronzation of calendar is unsatisfactory recently. Namely, the recent meeting calendars are synced while some older calendar on my exchange account is missing on my phone. Precisely, the synchronization is not completed. Strangely, some meetings are synchronized, but some won't for a same day. Â
I feel unsecure as I may miss some important meetings because of that. I have tried to remove the exhcnage account and add again, but no luck.
I want to delete "this and future" entries for a repeating appointment in the Blur calendar app. But when I do, all occurrences of the appointment are deleted. Bug?
I think I have tried evert known setting but syncing seems very selective. Currently, I load an even into my Outlook calendar (and have the right boxes checked in iTunes) but I am damned if the even will transpose to either my iPhone or my iPad! My Outlook also displays the iCloud calendar too. Is there a definitive instruction that is, effectively, a child's guide to setting up Outlook to transpose events to the Apple devices AND vice-versa?
In my iPhone and iPad, I have the iCloud sync box ticked. In my phone calendars I have both PC and iCloud ticked. Events show in my Outlook and Outlook iCloud but not in the &^&^*&^(*&(*)&(* iPhone or iPad.
Since i upgraded on iOS4 my outlook exchange account is activated (as it was in the past) and show on my calendar list but no events are showing up in the calendar itself!
It seems that the entire calendar of my brand new iphone 4 (i.e empty calendar) has replaced my previous MS Exchange calendar. There are no items in the deleted box items. Any other way I can retrieve my previous calendar?
I use my Outlook calendar on Microsoft Exchange for all of my personal and business things. I can add an event in Outlook and it syncs with my iPhone. However, any updates I make to any event never sync. (Example: Any deletions or time changes never show up)
