IPhone :: Lost Home Calendar After Accepting A Shared Calendar With The Same Name
Apr 16, 2012
I wanted to share my Home iCloud calendar on my iPhone with my wife so we could both add our respective events and see when the other person is busy. So far, all well. I logged on to the iCloud web site and shared my calendar with my wife.
She then accepted the shared calendar, but then her own Home calendar was replaced with mine, and she can no longer find hers anywhere. It's not on iCloud when she logs on to the web site, and there is no trace of it on her iPhone. And is there a chance we can get her calendar back? There were a lot of events on her calendar.
We just upgraded to IOS 5.1 on our 3gs/4/4s iphones in our organization. When we receive an appointment notification and accept it via our PC's Outlook program, there are no issues. However if we accept it via our iPhones it changes the time of the appointment by one hour ahead. (original time 6-7am, after accepting appointment new time is 7-8am)I went online and found some recommendations of turning off Time Zone Support, but it does not help. I have completely removed all 'Exchange' email settings and reconfigured it back in. no dice!
I've read that you should accept corporate sync invites in your calendar view. However, when I hold down a tentative request the only options that appear are view event, delete event, or new event. Please help. I need to accept events from my calendar.
I need viewing a shared outlook calendar. I have my outlook email account set up and synced to my Nexus 5, however I cannot seem to be able to view my Boss' calendar.
My gmail calendar items show in BLUE and my outlook calendar items show in RED, I want my shared calendar items to show as well (preferably a different colour). On my computer I can view my boss' calendar and I need this for work. As I work out of the office sometimes and need access to my boss' calendar I would like it to be on my mobile as well.
There was a lot of important info on there. We sync our calendars so all the info is on my iPhone. She does not back-up her info anywhere but can we export my calendar to her phone from mine?
I tried to sync up the calendar between my calendar and the gmail calendar. Since the sync -up my normal calendar does not open saying there is a process error. Also Moxier calendar does not show anything in the calendar though I have given the right server name for google.
I just lost all my calendar events on iphone. I didnt uptade anything. I didnt connect my iphone to anything. I just opened a calendar, and all of my events were gone. Is there any way to get them back?
I have a 4S and I upgraded to ios 8.1.1 and after doing so I have lost my calendar (just a white screen). I took it to Apple and they did a hard reboot and it still isn't working.Â
I'm not familiar with what I have to do in regards to syncing. I plugged my phone into my pc, thought it was syncing. Disconnected it and soon after realized all of my events in my calendar are missing. How can I get those events back?
I updated the software to latest software last night after it was done I went to view my calendar and all of the events on there were deleted. How do I get it back?
I synced my iPhone and it seems that all the calendar entries I had were simply replaced by the iCal entries off my Macbook. This means that I lost all the entries that had been on the phone. Is there any way to get them back?
I recently traveled overseas and had all my calendar items show on my iPhone as in the new locations time (ie, they moved X hours so wrong, but consistent). So the Appointments stayed in my home time zone, they just showed in the equivalent time period on the iPhone calendar.Â
When I returned home, my Calendar on my MacBook reverted to normal (ie, all appointments went to the correct, original time) but the iOS Calendar has somehow locked into the other time zone that I visited for a week or so. How can I get all the appointments on my iPhone to show correctly without changing or losing any of them.
Recently a couple of my board members purchased IPhones and IPads. And I have set them up the best I can. If they create a calendar entry on the IPhone or IPad it will show up in Outlook right away. However if they or one of their admins log onto their Outlook calendars and remove a schedule meeting the entry will not delete off the IPhone or IPads. I know there is a 15 minute sync on the devices but I have tested them after hours and days and the entries are still on the calendars on the mobile devices. This creates serious issues when people show up to meetings and destinations that have been cancled days in advanced.
So I was reading a review for the iPhone 4, and it had pictures of the home screen. This guy had notifications for his calender. now call me a total noob, but is this just for iPhone 4?
I don't know what happened, but this morning, my Outlook calendar is gone on my PC Laptop, wiped clean. My calendar is still on my iPhone and on my iPad. Can I restore my Outlook calendar from either of these devices ?
I have just restored my iphone from last back up to retrieve vital messages that somehow disappeared. Now I have lost the most recent messages, calendar details and photos. How do I get them back?I have an iPhone 5S
