I synced my iPhone and it seems that all the calendar entries I had were simply replaced by the iCal entries off my Macbook. This means that I lost all the entries that had been on the phone. Is there any way to get them back?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI use an iPhone 3GS as well as a desktop Mac (10.5.8).Whenever I sync these two devices, I never had a problem.I used a wire to do it and it was fine. Lately, however,I have definitely had problems. I connect the two devices and though it looks like it's going through the whole syncing process, it never syncs the iPhone calendar with iCal.This may not be germain, but lately I have also been getting an error message on my Mac that says Microsoft Office synching is not working. I know that should not concern Apple devised, but it just seems a little too coiincidental to me that right when I have problems syncing Apple products, I get an error message about the syncing of Microsft products.

I am not able to sync the calendar on my iPhone 5s to ical on my mac running OS 10.7.5. Things I've entered on the iPhone calendar won't transfer over to ical, but syncing does seem to work the other way. I've tried some of the fixes suggested (deleting the sync file using Terminal, toggling on and off the different calendar options, etc) but nothing seems to fix it.

I was using the google sync application to do this and since it just went end of life then I need something new. I easily added my gmail account and got the contacts and its calendar. However, there is another calendar that is not associated with an email account that is an ICAL calendar that I would to sync. I can not figure out how to configure that sync. I was syncing both calendars iwth the Google Sync before.

I updated from 7.0 to 7.1 and just noticed that a number of my calendar entries are missing.I'm not entirely sure when this happened.I don't think it happened at the time of updating to the new OS but it's possible.I received an "out of application memory" error message a week ago and have read that people have encountered a loss of data with such an error.I did a backup of my data on May 17th before upgrading to 7.1 calendar entries = 800, today calendar entries = 369.Since I use my device on a BES all entries associated with the BES account appear to be intact but I've lost all other entries.When I went to restore the calendar entries only from the backup it is greyed out indicating that these are "read only data types and cannot be restored" when selecting "Select Data to Restore/Select device data and settings" as opposed to "All device data and settings".Unsure how to proceed - clearly the data is present in the backup based on the entry value do I need to do a full restore and rollback to 7.0? in order to recover the calendar entries??

After upgrading firmware to the last version (V50.0.005) I have lost the possibility of seeing next entries of calendar in homescreen. The only option I've got from now are "Shortcuts" (4 between applications and favourites) and "Contacts bar". I have tried with hard and soft resets, and it's equal. This morning I have made several calender entries and 10 minutes later they are not there. It may well be me not understanding how to retrieve them. So, when you make a calendar entry do you get a choice where it's filed, i.e. phone memory or "cloud". If it's in the cloud is there a way to retrieve them.

I deleted the account, rebooted and readded the account back, however the account name now has a 1 after it (shown at the top of the email list) and the account does not show up under Settings/Accounts. Is it in a different place now? How do I get my contacts and calendar entries back? I am receiving corporate email, but not getting any notifications. Everything else on the phone appears to be working ok so far.

I uploaded an update of the Facebook App, now all of my entries are gone in the calendar that were in sync with my gmail address. I have the 8350 model and prior to this all calendar entries were saved to my email for gmail- this gmail option has disappeared in the CICAL drop down the only option available is Facebook. I tried to uninstall the Facebook App however that leaves no option for Default Service for the calendar, so the option for default service for my calendar is completely removed.How can I go back to the original settings for my calendar and is it possible to retrieve prior/future entries from the now blank calendar?

I can't stop sync deleting past calendar entries. Using torch 9800 and OS6 2949 with outlook 2007. I tried configuring for hours but syncing still comes up trying to delete entries more than few months old, which I want to keep. I tried 'upcoming entries only' (then it wants to delete over 1000 entries!!) and can't get the 'advanced' filters option to make any difference.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am running Windows XP SP3 with Outlook 2003. When the syncronisation between my phone (6303ci) runs OVI 2.2.0.241 sometimes hangs whilst preparing for calendar sync. After restarting the the PC entries within the Outlook calendar have lost the text within the entry. i.e. the entry itself still exists but any emailed notes within the file, attached files or links disappear in Outlook. This is very frustrating as meeting agenda and other notes are missing.
