Mar 27, 2012I have an iPhone 4. When I use iCal (which is now synched to my Macbook) which is housing my google calendar, I can't invite anyone to my events in iCal. I have to go to the google calendar website and schedule it from there. My wife has a 4S and she can do it right from iCal on a google calendar.

When I tap an event that I created on my phone, I get the the following message in the blue box that should contain the event details " fake event to work around a calendar issue" How can I fix this? May 3, 2012I use an iPhone 3GS as well as a desktop Mac (10.5.8).Whenever I sync these two devices, I never had a problem.I used a wire to do it and it was fine. Lately, however,I have definitely had problems. I connect the two devices and though it looks like it's going through the whole syncing process, it never syncs the iPhone calendar with iCal.This may not be germain, but lately I have also been getting an error message on my Mac that says Microsoft Office synching is not working. I know that should not concern Apple devised, but it just seems a little too coiincidental to me that right when I have problems syncing Apple products, I get an error message about the syncing of Microsft products.

Sep 11, 2014I can't add a new event to my calendar on iPhone. The plus sign is greyed out and even when I try it with Siri it says "Sorry. I can't do that right now". I did my due diligence and searched all over the forums and internet and I can't fix this. There was a listing in a forum where a lady had this same symptom but it looks like toggling iCloud worked for her. Not for me. I went into Settings>iCloud and turned off Calendar and then turned it back on. Still nothing. I even went to iCloud Backup and turned it on then back off and still nothing.

Things I've entered on the iPhone calendar won't transfer over to ical, but syncing does seem to work the other way. I've tried some of the fixes suggested (deleting the sync file using Terminal, toggling on and off the different calendar options, etc) but nothing seems to fix it.

Apr 30, 2012I deleted a calendar event from my iPhone 4S after the event but it keeps popping up on my phone as an alert every single day. I might have set it to recurring which I don't remember but even if I did I deleted the event itself. May 11, 2012I noticed that when I enter a time for an event on my calendar on my iphone then sync it to icloud the event is show but the time for the event shows a 2 hour difference. Example: Dental appointment set for 9:00 am on my iphone but after sync to icloud on my PC, it shows the time to 7:00 am on my PC calendar.
