I have an iPhone 4. When I use iCal (which is now synched to my Macbook) which is housing my google calendar, I can't invite anyone to my events in iCal. I have to go to the google calendar website and schedule it from there. My wife has a 4S and she can do it right from iCal on a google calendar.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Bravo has begun not synching with my computer's google calendar. When I tap an event that I created on my phone, I get the the following message in the blue box that should contain the event details " fake event to work around a calendar issue" How can I fix this? Googling that phrase has led to several other folks having the same problem, none with solutions that I can find.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been having problems finding the admin codes for my Corby Plus (B3410R). I've tried a few, one being *#6984125*#, but each time it produces a message that says "Not allowed". The purpose is to install java apps, so I need to update the Java DB, as I've found. I've tried simply using the .jar and .jad files, and making a link to them in a .html file, and both times I wasn't able to open them, giving a message saying the file type wasn't supported. Does anyone know if there is a new admin code that brings you to the menu the first code I mentioned for this phone, or do I need to flash the phone because of some crazy lock my carrier slapped on the phone?

I am running HTCsync without admin permissions on Windows XP SP3, with new version 3.0.5579 Calendar + People Sync settings are greyed out ("Sync On/Off" not accessible). The older version 3.0.5551 has worked after changing registry setting HKCR/Outlook.Application to full access

Data from iCal goes from Mac to iPhone but not the other way. This is a new phenomenon as it has always worked in the past, so I am certain that I set it up to merge originally, but I don't know how to check that it hasn't been reset somehow nor how to correct it. I have to start entering stuff manually twice.

There are a million timer aps, and project management apps, and other variations on time logs. But I have been unable to find one that does precisely what I want to do. Start a timer on my iPhone when I begin work on a discrete project. Stop the timer when I stop work.Have an iCal entry created on my iPhone calendar which indicates that block of time. I do NOT need to manage a large number of projects, create complex reports, do billing, or anything like that. I am just looking for a way to be able to open iCal and get a visual assessment of when and how much time I am actually devoting to three-five priority areas.
Here is what I have been able to find and do NOT want:Manually creating iCal entries with start and stop times, that the app can then aggregate and report time spent.A timer that creates a separate log or standalone calendar - completely removed from iCal.
If I start working on a goal area at 3:15pm and stop 90 minutes later, I want to be able to start the timer. Stop the timer. And have an iCal entry that starts at 3:15pm and ends at 4:45pm automatically created in iCal.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo, the other day my mother accidentally erased all of her events in iCal on her Mac. She still had them all on her iPhone, so she tried to sync it with her Mac to undo the deletions. But it did the opposite; all of her events were lost on her phone. Luckily, I was able to restore her back-up onto her iPhone. So I need to know if there is a way to sync the events (one-way) from the phone onto the Mac.

Entries from my iPhone (v. 5.1) are not syncing to my iCal using iTunes. If I then enter the info into iCal I end up with duplicate entries on my phone.

After switching to iCloud the iCal on my iPhone is no longer synched with my MacBook Pro. I've tried delting iCloud on my iPhone and reinstalling it. It is still not synching. What do I need to do to get my iCal on my iPhone to synch with my iCal on my MacBook Pro?

I have a Imac (10.6.8) and a Iphone running ver 5.01. I also have Goofle sync installed. For some reason my iCal has stopped syncing back and forth between the to devices. Contacts seems to work fine, add a contact on either, and it almost immediately shows on the other device?
Is it best to update to the latest version on my Imac to take advantage of syncing through the cloud? If I am correct, with version 10.6.8, I can not sync through my icloud account, correct?

I have an iPhone 4s and a Mac with leopard. I'm trying to sync my calenders. I am able to transfer the info from my iCal to my iPhone, but not the other way around. Is this possible to do without upgrading my Mac software? I read some bad reviews on the upgrade to Snow leopard.

I use an iPhone 3GS as well as a desktop Mac (10.5.8).Whenever I sync these two devices, I never had a problem.I used a wire to do it and it was fine. Lately, however,I have definitely had problems. I connect the two devices and though it looks like it's going through the whole syncing process, it never syncs the iPhone calendar with iCal.This may not be germain, but lately I have also been getting an error message on my Mac that says Microsoft Office synching is not working. I know that should not concern Apple devised, but it just seems a little too coiincidental to me that right when I have problems syncing Apple products, I get an error message about the syncing of Microsft products.
