When I sync my iPhone 5 I get double entries in iCal. I did merge my calendars, then I tried turning off iCloud, and then tried tuning off selected calendars. My calendars have my information, just twice!
My contacts are duplicating--when I synchronize my bberry with my office computer, it creates duplicate contact profiles/entries on my bberry and on my computer.
I synced my iPhone and it seems that all the calendar entries I had were simply replaced by the iCal entries off my Macbook. This means that I lost all the entries that had been on the phone. Is there any way to get them back?
Entries from my iPhone (v. 5.1) are not syncing to my iCal using iTunes. If I then enter the info into iCal I end up with duplicate entries on my phone.
I have a Imac (10.6.8) and a Iphone running ver 5.01. I also have Goofle sync installed. For some reason my iCal has stopped syncing back and forth between the to devices. Contacts seems to work fine, add a contact on either, and it almost immediately shows on the other device?
Is it best to update to the latest version on my Imac to take advantage of syncing through the cloud? If I am correct, with version 10.6.8, I can not sync through my icloud account, correct?
Items I've added to the calendar on my iPhone 3GS (running IOS 5.1.1) won't sync to iCal on my Mac. It works fine the other way around (from iCal to iPhone).
Since I updated my iphone 4 with the software for iphone 4s my ical on my imac won't synch with my iphone calendar. Also events are duplicated. I have to check both calendars to ensure I don't miss any events and have to physically re enter them separately into the different calendars.
Every time I sync my iPhone and iPad, my new notes are gone and I have the old Notes only. It just started happening lately, I think. I can't figure out how to correct this situation.
I updated this morning and now my contacts aree all messed up. It has random contact information under other peoples name and double or triples some entries! How do I fix this?? The screen also seems kind of "sticky".
I am a mac user and I have just bought a Lumia 800. Installed Windows Phone 7 Connector that sync only images and music, but how to keep synchronized the more important stuff:
1. my calendar: iCal 2. my contacts Directly form Mac to Lumia 800?
When I first heard that Symbian^3 on the N8 would support multiple calendars I was under the impression that I finally could sync all my iCal calendars with my N8. But I just can't get this feature to work (iSync plug-in version is 2.0).
Calendar entries made on my Mac still show up under the "PC Suite" calendar on the N8.
I've just synched my phone to my PC. When I look at my calendar (outlook) on my PC I can only see some of my calendar entries, not all of them. I've narrowed this problem down to the fact that when I make calendar entries on my phone it offers me the option to send the appointment from my desktop, my work e-mail or my personal e-mail. All entries sent via the desktop are now showing on my PC outlook calendar. However, all entries sent via my work or personal e-mails are not showing on my PC outlook calendar. How can I synch these other e-mail appointments with my PC?
Just got the Bold from my employer. When I make calendar entries on my office computer they synch immediately to my Ipad and Iphone. However, I cannot get the same calendar entry to synch with the Bold. Emails and Contacts are not a problem and synch to all "units".
I have been having this issue ever since I have gotten the iPhone 4. Its really irittating because my 4 is only 8GBs. Every time I connect my 4 to my computer, iTunes pops up and it syncs it and go through the steps of sync and backing up. But when it does this, my other memory space goes up. Every time I use my iPhone 4 then need to put more music or something it goes through that synchronization process and back up, which then makes my other space go up more. Now I only have 1.1GB of space left. I been having this problem and trying to figure out what is the problem. But when today I connect it I notice it goes up when backing up and all that. I have research a lot of people have the same issue but its because of something else, or because they "Jailbreak It" which mines is not. My iPhone 4 is on the latest ios5 which is 5.1.1.
Your carrier: AT&T Model info and OS version: Torch 9800, 6.0 bundle 695 (v6.0.0.246)
Apps and free space Free Space: 260.5MB Did a battery pull fix your issue? No. Tried this twice, but it did not fix it.
Anytime I try to go into my calendar, everything freezes. It doesn't matter if I am using the touchscreen or touchpad. The only thing that fixes it is if I turn the phone off then back on. Then I get this message: uncaught exception: application net_rim_bb_calendar_app(326) is not responding; process terminated. After I press OK, I can continue to use the phone. I can also open up individual calendar items that show up for the day, but just not into the calendar itself.
From my desktop computer I use a USB cable to synchronize my Outlook contacts, calendar and tasks to my Storm2. I also have a laptop computer and use BlueTooth to synchronize it's Outlook contacts, calendar and tasks with the Storm2. The synchronization seems work fine. I wanted to access my personal email so I set it up by selecting SET UP then EMAIL SETTINGS and followed the wizard. It worked perfectly but it also created another calendar which seems to be associated to the new email address. This caused problems when trying to synchronize, my desktop was updating one calendar while the laptop was updating the other. When I deleted the email address the extra claendar was also deleted. Am I missing something, why is a second calendar created when I setup an email account?
When I sync my Outlook (2010) contacts through Kies (v2.3.0.12035_16), my SGS2 ends up with multiple entries for almost all of my contacts; some might have three, some two, some even four entries for the one person. Each entry has different information. Some of theseduplicate / triplicate contacts have old information. All of them (except the original for each contact on my phone) are missing the contact picture.ome of the contacts that are synce'd to my phone no longer exist in my Outlook. Eg. I deleted Aerial Taxis from my Outlook contacts and replaced it with Elite Cabs, however after deleting all my contacts from my phone and syncing through Kies, I have two Aerial taxis entries in my phone and none in outlook. It seems Kies has created it's own cache of contacts that it thinks it needs to sync andcontinually syns them regardless of what I do to Outlook or my phone.I have disabled syncing through my GMail account for contacts. I even deleted all the contacts from my GMail account (in preparation to import them from a CSV export from Outlook). have uninstalled and reinstalled Kies. Checked, the folloowing folders were removed: C:Program Files (x86)SamsungKies C:ProgramDataSamsungI even deleted the UserAppData olders:C:UsersusernameAppDataRoamingSamsungKiesC:UsersusernameAppDataLocalSamsungIt continues to add the same contacts everytime it syncs, even after uninstalling and removing all the folders.
Ever since I got the Iphone 4S, it's been corrupting my pictures occasionally during import. It's sad, because I usually have it set to delete the image after importing, so the uncorrupted image is lost forever. Below is an example of how the import destroyed a really nice picture of our newborn baby.
I'm running snow leopard, with iphone version 5.1. Originally I was using iphoto to do the import, but I read somewhere that image capture might fix this problem. But the problem still occurs even with image capture. Sometimes there are multiple "color lines" through the picture, although the one below only has one. Also, sometimes the image doesn't just change color across the line. It can also become misaligned, so tweaking the color isn't enough.
I'm not sure about this, but I think the problem may occur more frequently when I have a lot of apps sharing CPU. So I suspect it's a bug related to context switching. I'm not sure whether snow leopard or the iphone is the problem, although I don't remember it occuring with my older iphone 4.
I have noticed the problem tends to occur in batches of consecutive photos, which is why I think it has to do with memory swapping due to concurrent applications.
Data from iCal goes from Mac to iPhone but not the other way. This is a new phenomenon as it has always worked in the past, so I am certain that I set it up to merge originally, but I don't know how to check that it hasn't been reset somehow nor how to correct it. I have to start entering stuff manually twice.
There are a million timer aps, and project management apps, and other variations on time logs. But I have been unable to find one that does precisely what I want to do. Start a timer on my iPhone when I begin work on a discrete project. Stop the timer when I stop work.Have an iCal entry created on my iPhone calendar which indicates that block of time. I do NOT need to manage a large number of projects, create complex reports, do billing, or anything like that. I am just looking for a way to be able to open iCal and get a visual assessment of when and how much time I am actually devoting to three-five priority areas.
Here is what I have been able to find and do NOT want:Manually creating iCal entries with start and stop times, that the app can then aggregate and report time spent.A timer that creates a separate log or standalone calendar - completely removed from iCal.
If I start working on a goal area at 3:15pm and stop 90 minutes later, I want to be able to start the timer. Stop the timer. And have an iCal entry that starts at 3:15pm and ends at 4:45pm automatically created in iCal.
