I want to delete "this and future" entries for a repeating appointment in the Blur calendar app. But when I do, all occurrences of the appointment are deleted. Bug?
View 1 RepliesI attend a large number of meetings which occur on a fixed day of the month every year rather than on a chosen numeric date, e.g. the Second Wednesday in December, the Fourth Monday in March etc.After each meeting is completed I delete the event instance from the Google calendar using a PC-based web browser. I do this because I have noticed in the past and also with the 2.1 version that changes made to repeating events in Calendar do not get properly synced to the Google server version of the data, whereas changes made to them on the server are updated correctly in Calendar
Since updating to 2.1 and re-syncing all my Contacts and Calendar with Google, I now find that on the phone repeating events in the Calendar extend years backwards into the past as well as forward into the future.By that I mean that old meeting entries that I deleted months and years ago on the web, and which were not visible on the phone before the update to 2.1, have now all re-appeared on the handset and go back quite a few years.
After the 2.3.4 update, the calendar will show the incorrect organizer name for appointments that I have created. This only occurs when there is more than 1 Google account setup on the device.
example: The main account on my device is Joe@gmail.com, the secondary account is Bob@gmail.com. I create an appointment on the Joe@gmail.com calendar. On the Atrix Calendar it will show the appointment organizer as Bob@gmail.com.
If I click "show attendee details", the information is correct.
I've had my Atrix since May 2011 and 3 times now it has completely wiped my calendar.I've looked through the forums on here but all I can find is the suggestion that syncing to gmail may be the problem. However, I am fairly certain that I have set everything to NOT sync with googlemail etc, as I do not use calendars anywhere but on my phone. Could I have missed something which means my phone is trying to sync with an empty calendar somewhere - but if so I would have expected it to do this more than 3 times in as many months?

Specifically, when I change and appointment to a future date and then save that appointment, the calendar moves to that future date! This is terrible if you are moving several items out to future dates! Previously, the changed entry would just disappear from the screen (moved to the new, future date) and I would remain on the day I was working on.Secondly, when I open a future day in calendar, the “All Day Events” do not show first (as they used to). Instead you have to scroll up to see if there are any of these type events.Does anyone know of a way to change these settings/defaults.

This morning I have made several calender entries and 10 minutes later they are not there. It may well be me not understanding how to retrieve them. So, when you make a calendar entry do you get a choice where it's filed, i.e. phone memory or "cloud". If it's in the cloud is there a way to retrieve them.

I deleted the account, rebooted and readded the account back, however the account name now has a 1 after it (shown at the top of the email list) and the account does not show up under Settings/Accounts. Is it in a different place now? How do I get my contacts and calendar entries back? I am receiving corporate email, but not getting any notifications. I was looking for a previous doctor's appointment and was able to see it on my google calendar on my PC but it didn't transfer to my new phone. It's still on my old Droid Incredible though. The problem is I now have thousands of what I call "Ghost Images" in the music player that I do not want. I'd like to just wipe the music player clean and start over. How can I do this? The calendar on my nexus 5 isn't showing any input. It's on all other devices and was on my phone, but has now disappeared on my phone. I think it may have happened when I input the last appointment, because I don't find that appointment on other devices.

Use agenda view for calendar, tried the "Show free time in Agenda View" but didn't like it so unclicked it and now, when I open my calendar; the current appts show for a couple of seconds, then it jumps to my last appts in 2014. If I check the free time box again and try to open my calendar it doesn't jump ahead. If I uncheck it again, it jumps ahead again. I've tried turning it off and taking the battery out but doesn't work. The local Telus store never heard of it before.

We just upgraded to IOS 5.1 on our 3gs/4/4s iphones in our organization. When we receive an appointment notification and accept it via our PC's Outlook program, there are no issues. However if we accept it via our iPhones it changes the time of the appointment by one hour ahead. (original time 6-7am, after accepting appointment new time is 7-8am)I went online and found some recommendations of turning off Time Zone Support, but it does not help. I have completely removed all 'Exchange' email settings and reconfigured it back in. no dice!
