I tried the motocast utility that is supposed to sync music from my PC to my phone. This utility is not for me and I've uninstalled it on my PC. The problem is I now have thousands of what I call "Ghost Images" in the music player that I do not want. I'd like to just wipe the music player clean and start over. How can I do this? I can't find any method to delete anything from the music player.

I'm not able to see my old calendar entries on my new Droid 4. I was looking for a previous doctor's appointment and was able to see it on my google calendar on my PC but it didn't transfer to my new phone. It's still on my old Droid Incredible though. How do I get all the old appointments to show up on my Droid 4? Other than that everything else works perfecty.

Now I have my android phone (DX2) and want to move all of my contacts to my Gmail account instead of Backup Assisitant. I am planning on leaving Verizon and going with another android phone, on Sprint. If I don't want to re-enter approximately 500 contacts (498) manually, I need to sync all of my contacts to gmail. There had been an app for that, but Verizon took it out of the market.

.ics file to add some calendar entries into my N8 calendar. But somehow the same calendar file was added multiple times and now I have 5 duplicate calendar entries for each day.Is there a way to delete these calendar entries without deleting my old calendar entries? View 4 Replies View RelatedMotorola's My Music app is having issues finding my music. If I view the albums for an artist, they all appear, but if I play that artist, some of them can't be found. Sometimes I try again, and these albums play. Once I even noticed that all of the albums appeared but songs were missing, and then when I looked at the album list again, the ones that weren't playing weren't listed. Then they appear again. The most troubling part is that these songs are in the same folder on my sd card.

I originally downloaded approximately 220 songs and have since added another 15. However, my song total now shows at 401 songs, many of which I would NEVER listen to. THere is nothing worse that running and listening to a great song and have the next one be a Bay City Roller or Cyndi Laupner tune. Are these songs being uploaded when I plug into the website? Were they pre-loaded onto the device?

The bookmark has a little lock near the title... when I long press on the bookmark I do get the "delete" choice, which I of course choose. But the gookmark is still there.
Yesterday, I finally managed to disable the Verizon Wireless Backup Assistant because I only want my Droid to sync with my Gmail contacts. Can I delete all the contacts stored in my device and force it to sync with my Gmail contacts?
I've also noticed my device contacts list seems to be pulling all sorts of information from all sorts of places (I'm listed in my contacts list with an old street address, for instance). Is there a way I can tell where the device is pulling contact info from?

Whith my Droid when I delete a email it still stays on server and therefore shows up as unread in Outlook.
