Xseries :: Nokia X2-01 Sim Service Menu Stopped Working?

This is like the 10nth time this has happened. The sim service menu(one with the sim card icon) does not open when clicked which is annoying as I use it alot.I usually have to do a full restore which deletes all my data to make it work again which really sucks. Then a few weeks later the problem reapears again, and that sucks even more. Im really fatigued at this point. Whats the point of saving stuff when you have to delete it every other week? Is there any other way to fix this without losing my data?
my phone was fully functional, until I dropped it off my bed, then stood on it getting up to get it off the floor, anywhoo, the screen had broke and only the three buttons on the bottom were working. I sent the phone off to be fixed and hey presto, I got a new fully functioning screen, but now the three buttons along the bottom do not work.
Red Hard key Won't power off, won't end a call and on the BB logo hard key no menu will open. It's like they click but actuate nothing? keys 2 and 4 of the bottom row if I've lost anyone.How can I 'fix' these keys. Worked great this am. did several battery pulls.Phone is in an OEM holster 24/7
I have an X8 that was repaired a few months ago due to a cracked screen.Yesterday the touch screen stopped working, the screen still displays everything it should and the menu, camera, lock and volume buttons work fine, but touching the screen does nothing which makes doing anything with the phone impossible.I've switched it on and off many times, including holding the power button until I get 3 vibrations and no luck. I've fully charged the phone and tested it whilst it's charging.I don't think there's been any damage, but it could have taken a knock whilst being in my pocket.
My Bold 9930 internet service stopped working I updated the phone and tried all possibilities with my network provider and still its not working on my phone.
It used to work just fine, sending docs and pics via the "send to" right-click. Now I get that error message "error copying file (Server error)" and the X7 opens a "sharing" program that runs in the background. It used to work just fine a day ago - no updates every since on computer or phone since then...
My menu key has stopped working all of a sudden.The key is recognised as when it is pressed when the phone is locked the on screen unlock option flashes up. I just can't access any settings, apps etc.
I got a new phone (Nokia 2630) a few months ago. About 4 weeks the menu button stop working. When I push it the menu doesn't open but if I use the navigation keys to open, for example the Camera, when I push the menu button, the menu button works to take the picture.I didn't made any moditications into hardware e/or firmware on the phone.I don't want to take it to Nokia Care now.
I have a "brand new" 701 with 111.020.0307 that won't update to 111.030.0609 because I'm in Italy .
Now I have a really annoying bug: the menu key, sometimes, stops working and won't bring up the menu if pressed briefly, and won't bring up the task list either (when pressed long). Anyone experiencing this bug? The only way I found to make it work again is turn off and on again my phone... And the task list can't be found in menus, AFAIK. I could do that with my old 5800XM...
I bought my phone ONE WEEK ago... I really wouldn't like to format/reinstall already!
Im wondering if theres anything to disable this...or its just me...i turned off the theme effects already. I just dont like it, i feel like it slows down the fone...im wondering if there could be any future updates on the nokia X6 since the last one was v40? Nokia need to remove this menu fade effect!
Woke up this morning to find that my phone wont open the menu and that the keypad is stuff. Ive tryed hard resetting it but did nothing. I cant think of anything that would have caused this to do this and it was working fine last night before going to bed. Any ideas? I really dont wanna have to send it backunless i have to as this is my second one and i dont have a spare phone.
Would someone please post the code to get into the service menu on the Samsung Freeform SCH R350. Sorry if someone has already posted this elsewhere because I was having trouble finding it.
Can someone please let me know what the process is for entering the service menus for the above phone? I need to review my wap settings and I cannot find info anywhere on the web on how to do this for this phone.
I brought a Nokia X6 about 5 months ago in Saudi Arabia and i've been using it for some time..But when i brought it to Sri Lanka ..the mic stopped workin after 1 or 2 days..I took it back to Saudi to fix but it worked perfectly there again..Then it broke again and i gave it to the Shop i brough it from..They changed da mic but it broke after few days.
My camera has stopped working on my nokia 5800 press camera button and it just goes back to menu screen. Tried camera through apps does same thing and it does not show it open also. It will not play any videos just sound. I watch bbciplayer a lot on my phone and all I get is sound it just comes up and says unable to play video or sound but I can hear the sound. Just not see the video and also vidoes what I have took on my phone done soft and hard reset firmware update.
Alright my LG VX8700 carrier is Bell Mobility, the problem is I cannot access the service menu using the methods described for a Verizon 8700 (##PROGRAM8700) DOES NOT work for me. What happens when i type this in is nothing, my phone tries to call the number. I've been researching all day, to get to the service menu on a Bell Mobility phone its supposed to be ##123456 followed by another # key , with the six numbers being your personal msl or unlock code, from Bell. Basically what I need some ideas for what I could do, I've already tried LGDownloader and it doesnt find a model number for my phone. My other idear is more social, being I call Bell and convince one of the cs reps to give me my unlock code that is used to program your phone when you first get it, the problem being they most likely wont just tell you ( need to edit my proxy for WAP that i've purchased hopke.net). I was reading another thread that says to lie and say like, I was in the process of changing my phone number and then my phone restarted or something.
need some help with this samsung slash sph-m310 phone.I bought the Samsung 20pin data cable, but WinXP won't recognize the phone. Searched for USB drivers for this phone and downloaded some software from Samsung called Samung PC Studio 3, also tried studio 2. They had usb drivers but doesn't look like any of them helped.Then I was looking in the forums here http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1434738 and saw someone said to type ##7678# and enter V-I-R-G-I-N into the phone, that there was a data screen to allow data transfers. I did enter this into my phone, but nothing happened. Wrong code it said. Tried some other numbers eventually the phone just rebooted and then shut off. Was worried i locked the phone, I hit end and the phone works fine now. whew!So please help, what is this screen ##7678# on my phone? And did I screw it up? and is there a usb driver for the m310 phone?
Charging on mains is working fine, also on the usb of the laptop, but in my car not.I tried with the same car charger (nokia) on another mobile, then it worked.
I am planning to buy a Nokia X2. Is there any way to install Ovi Maps on that? Even if it does not have GPS - I would still like to install Ovi Maps to browse the map.
I purchased a Curve 8900 locked to t-mobile which i unlocked with a code purchased via a website, everything is okay and working with the orange sim card apart from the MMS message service with appears to be missing from the menu, updating the software via the update service dose not make any difference, also to access the internet the webNwalk from t-mobile application is still there, although this is not a problem i wondered if there was a way to remove that and find out where the MMS option is.
Nokia this time has let me down especially on this phone. They have proven to have failed these touch screen phones. It is my first time to by a nokia touch screen phone and now the touch screen is not working any more. I tried to update the software to version 6.but no change. I feel robbed by nokia as I wasted my money on this phone. Now I can not unlock the phone, I have to switch off the phone and I cant type or save a number,I cant view missed calls and messages. I have send it to techinicians but all the touch screens they tried did not work It records 3gp video files only not mpeg4?
